Advance Wars: Alpha Squadron is a club (or organisation) based around the game series, namely, Advance Wars. The game itself is a turn-based strategy war game, in which you create and command units to fight against the opponent's armies and either destroy their forces or capture their HQ. The game features footmen along with vehicles of land, air and sea, and can be very addictive. Whilst also discussing the series, we will also be using a website called AWBW (which stands for Advance-Wars-by-Web) to play the game online in single games and tournaments, along with possibly having our own ladder to see who is the best in the club.

Advance Wars has five countries, and these make up the five different 'groups' in this club: Orange Star, Blue Moon, Yellow Comet, Green Earth and Black Hole.
