Hogwarts RP: Redo! STARTED--ACCEPTING~New classes added!

"Count me in!" Angus smiled and started to eat quickly now, they didn't have long. he dusted off the last of his meal within the minute, and took a gulp of juice, even eating quickly he wasn't messy though. Angus stood up he was ready, this was gonna be great fun, and Angus was a bit surprised, he didn't know the people involved too well, he doubted that they'd really trust him. Still he didn't care, they'd accepted him and that was enough. He stood for a moment and stared at Britney for a second without realising that he'd spaced out.

"So, let's get this show on the road ha?"

"Yes we should. Let's go!" exclaimed Alyssa. They all stood up and made for the great hall door. She continued to the potions dungeons and entered the potions room. It was empty. She motioned for everyone to plant their bombs and fireworks in different cauldrons. She was smiling through the whole thing. Once they finished, they stepped back to admire their handiwork. They couldn't see anything from the outside. Mission accomplished. "Let's leave so we don't look guilty?" Alyssa asked.

Angus nodded, it was a good job. He couldn't belive that this was his first time pulling a prank with Alyssa and her friends. This was great, Angus was cutting loose, his stuffed-shirt parents would never condone of him having this sort of fun, but they were in Scottland. he laughed under his breath before he turned to the others.

"This' been a blast, we should do this again some time, now lets get outa here before the professor busts us."

Alyssa smiled at Angus. She liked this guy. She nodded and they all ran back to the great hall. "That was great, for all of you that have potions first period, I can't wait to see the teacher's face! Hey, look at the bulletin board. They posted something new. We have a few minutes before class, let's go take a look!" Alyssa rushed over to the bulletin board. A crowd of students had already gathered around it. She looked at the news and was shocked. A Ravenclaw had been attacked and petrified!

Description of appearance: Blonde hair, bright blue eyes. Always has a smile on.

Bio: Rae lived with her Dad, having her Muggle mother dead. Her Dad always thought she was a Squib, so she went to Muggle schools. But then, she had cast a hex on some kid who'd ticked her off. Her dad was an Occlumencer, a pure blood. Rae was always "popular", but never stuck-up. She always had lot's of friends, being a social butterfly. But when she went to Hogwarts, she always excelled in Care of Magical Creatures, being able to see the thestrals. Sometimes, she would stay on the weekends and look after and magical creatures for the care of magical creatures teacher.

Blues was shocked by this revealation and began sticking his nose into the paper. "Long-time student, Penolepe Waternose has recently been found petrifyed on the school grounds. The teachers are unsure of what has happened to Miss Waternose but they assure they should be able to cure her soon. When questioned about the attack the old headmaster replied "I promise you, the students shall be safe. And classes shall resume as normally." Blues tore his eyes away from the report and turned to Alyssa. "What do you think happened to old miss Waternose anyways?" he asked as Rumford began to shiver wildly in his bag.

"Hiyas!" Rae said, seeing Alyssa and Blues. "Watcha' doing? I'm Rae- Rae Axel! Who are you guys? I'm a beater on the gryffindor Quidditch team!" Rae said, all in one breath. "I can't believe The Waternose person was petrified! What if everybody gets petrified, and Hogwarts is shut down! What am I gonna do?!?!?"

Alyssa looked at him. "I'm not sure," she said softly. "I just hope it wasn't a basilisk. Remember those Harry Potter stories? There used to be a basilisk around. Maybe there's a baby one!" Alyssa shuddered. She turned to the sound of the little girl's voice. "Oh hi, I'm Alyssa. This is Blues. We were just discussing what happened to Penelope." Ginger, her cat, wound his way around Alyssa's shoulders, making whimpering noises. "Hush, Ginger, it's alright if the headmaster says its so," she told him softly. She smiled at Rae. "It's good to have someone on Gryffindor finally that I know."

 

OoC: Lol...waternose? its fine though...and also just telling you the basilisk theory isn't true. Rae. We almost were banned from shortposting. Please make your posts longer?

Kaze looked at the report and said "Wait a second a basilisk?! You don't think that there really is one in the school is there?". Kaze saw the students and teacher heading for the potions room. "Hey guys the show's just about to begin." She said completely forgetting about the Waternose person. "I wonder who the new teacher is."

"A basilisk!?" Rae shivered. She remembered the Harry Potter stories, how people were petrified. What if she got petrified? What was it like to be petrified? Could you feel anything? Then, she spoke to Alyssa. "Cool cat! I'm glad to know somebody in Gryffindor too, even though you are two years older then me. I have an owl. He's a black one, I have no idea what species."

"Well it's time to go to class," Alyssa said. "I hope the basilisk doesn't get us if there is one," Alyssa shuddered. "There also is the possibility of someone attacking people, but why would they do that? And target Penelope Waternose?" She turned to see the new potions teacher going down to the potions dungeon. "I totally wanna see his reaction!" Alyssa squealed, forgetting about Penelope. She ran down to the dungeons, beckoning for her new friends to follow. They all sat down in their seats. The teacher, who looked really greasy, stood up and went to the blackboard. "Students," he said silkily. Alyssa immediately disliked him. "Welcome to the art of potions making again. I am Professor Locksley." Just then their pranks exploded.

"I've never heard of a black owl before. A white one maybe but not a black one. All I have is a lazy cat." Kaze said gesturing to Yukki who was walking up to the lot of them and climbing on Kaze. She scratched behind her ears and started to walk into the potions room as the class was already starting. "C'mon guys let's see the new teacher." She saw all the fireworks go off and the dungbombs explode.

The potions master looked surprised and his face turned dark purple. "Who did this?!" he snarled. The class remained silent although everyone had smirks on their faces. Alyssa remained calm, though she let a little humor show in her face, because that's what everyone else was doing. She was an expert at remaining calm after her prank was triggered. She raised her hand. "Professor Locksley," she started. "I know who did it!" she pointed at a random Slytherin boy maliciously. "HE did! I saw him poking around here ten minutes before class!"

Rae followed Alyssa to the Potions dungeon. She wanted to see what prank Alyssa had done, and what the new Professor would do. Rae sat down, waiting. She giggled as Alyssa's pranks exploded. She didn't like Professor Locksley. He was weird. "Did Peeves give you the idea?" Rae whispered, giggling. She was going to have fun messing with Professor Locksley. She was already sprouting ideas. Then, she turned to Kaze. "Yea, I've never seen or heard of a black owl. I think mine is the only one."

Kaze gavea small smile as she saw the slytherin boy protest. "I DID NOT!" He jumped up and pointed at them. "THEY DID IT! I JUST KNOW IT!!!" Kazed stared at the boy. "Can you prove that we did huh?" The boy looked at them dumbfounded. "Ummmmmm, no but ummmmmm. I JUST KNOW THEY DID IT!!!" THe teacher looked at all of them. "WEll I guess we have a perdicterment here."

IC: Alyssa grinned. "I'd say he just wants to pin the blame on someone else, professor. The professor looked even more furious.

"YOU!" the professor yelled. Alyssa winked at Rae and Kaze. "I want to see YOU!" Locksley pointed at the Slytherin boy. "For dentention for the next MONTH!" He turned, still purple-faced to the rest of the class. "Now, prepare the sleeping potion!" He waved his wand and instructions appeared on the board. Alyssa took out a small piece of parchment and a quill and wrote notes to Kaze and Rae: "Bottle some of it. You never know when it might be useful".

Rae looked at Professor Locksley. "Let me help you clean up, sir." Rae was an expert at kissing up. This way, hopefully, Professor Locksley wouldn't get mad. "Are you okay, Professor?" Rae had finished cleaning up the mess. Without magic. Slytherins were staring at her. "You don't need magic to do everything!" Rae said, a little angry. She had thought she was a muggle, she knew how to clean without magic. Rae walked back to her seat. Rae read the note Alyssa handed her, and nodded. She started to follow the instructions in her book, making the sleeping potion. Rae tried to listen to the professor lecturing the Slytherin, without looking too suspicious.

Kaze shrugged and started to make the potion making sure to put some of it in a small bottle and put it in her robes. She finished making the potion before anyone else and smelled it before crinkling her nose and setting it back down on the table. "I wish I hadn't done that." Kaze said and yawned. "Oh no. I hope I don't fall asleep." She said thinking how bad it would be it fall asleep on the first day at Hogwarts and how easy it would be to sleep at anytime.She suddenly heard an explosion as another firework exploded right infront of the professor and with the excat same slytherin boy right there.

"Er...thank you," The professor seemed a little confused about someone actually helping him. Alyssa set to work brewing her sleeping draught. One of her strengths was potions so she was confident about doing well. The first ingredient was to chop up some brass scales. She did so with her silver knife, then put them into her pewter cauldron which was bubbling with water. The next ingredient was knotgrass. She poured some in then stirred three times counterclockwise. the potion was now golden. She was on the right track. She decided that since she was done with the first part, she would set a firework. She lit it, threw it from the direction the Slytherin boy was in, into the professor's cauldron. She knew the professor would blame the Slytherin because he was just sentenced to detention for a month.

"Your welcome." Rae said, smiling. She looked at the Slytherin boy who was blamed, and giggled. She cut up the dragon scales with her knife, and put them into the cauldron. She continued the instructions carefully, and began to become a little drowsy. Rae yawned. She bottled some of the potion, and stored it in her robes. Rae jumped as the firework exploded. "Why do you keep doing that?!" Rae said, blaming the Slytherin, as the Slytherin glared at her. "I've finished my potion Professor, do you want me to help you clean up?"

Alyssa giggled. The teacher's face darkened. "If you think the way to counter detention is revenge, you are very wrong, McCreed!" he pointed at the Slytherin boy. McCreed shot Alyssa a dirty, dark look. "Detention for two months now!" Alyssa added the lacewing flies into her potion and stirred clockwise five times. Then she added some belladonna, nightshade, and drigible plum seeds. She stirred and let it simmer for five minutes. She was sitting next to Rae and Kaze so she said, "Did you guys get any of your potion? Mine's almost done."

"Yep, I think it might actually be useful. But off the subject, don't you feel bad for Professor Locksley sometimes. I mean, he looks awful, but that just means he is too depressed to do anything to his appearance. Something has to be wrong." Rae said, taking out the sleeping potion. "Mine's right here. Don't you thing we should get an antidote, in case one of us drinks it?" Rae said, imagining her asleep in the middle of a class. She shivered.

"I don't think there's a risk of that--wait a second, there is, that Slytherin boy I blamed looks capable of murder. If you can, make an antidote for all three of us. You're good at potions, by the way." Alyssa smiled at her, then cast a glance at the boy McCreed. "Hey, maybe a Slytherin's behind the attacks of Waternose? Other than Blues, they're all pretty prejudiced against muggle borns. Maybe Penelope was a muggle born!" Realizing that Alyssa's potion was finished, she took a small vial and corked some of the potion, sticking it into her prank set. "Times up!" the teacher in front said. "I shall come around and inspect all of your cauldron. The teacher made his way down the aisles of cauldrons. "Top marks for you, Alyssa, Kaze, and Rae. Good job." he said silkily. Alyssa couldn't help but feel sorry, though she still did not like the teacher.

"I have mine and Professor Locksey looks like he hasn't slept for weeks and like he's gonna explode at a moments notice." Kaze said putting in a few extra thing in her potion. "I don't think there is anantidote for this and even is there was how would we use it? We'd be asleep wouldn't we?" Kaze picked up a vail of the potion and lifted it up to the light and admired it as it glittered. I don't think a student is behind this, besides how would he have attack her without anyone seeing him and do you think he would be advanced enough to be able to fully petrify somone?"
