"Honestly miss, I have no clue. I came here to watch and to help if necessary." Zach said. He turned to Alyssa. "So what exactly are we doing here?" Zach asked. The Grey Lady nodded at Angus. "I will, but as a ghostly being I cannot open the door to the room of requirement. I will need assistance entering." She nodded at Alyssa.Alyssa obliged and walked past the room of requirement and the door soon appeared. Alyssa opened the door for the lady and she floated inside. I think we better hurry. either the figure is in the library taking more books, or coming back after petrifying Blues." He readied his wand with, protego as a small shield, expecto partonum, because he liked the wolf and it might help, and a anti-hex spell to finish what protego started. He possed the question to Alyssa, with The Grey Lady on detail, there wasn't really much they could do that she couldn't. "We still have almost an hour before we need to be back in the common rooms." He hoped that maybe they'd get a chance to talk, he'd decided that he'd have to tell her how he felt one way or another, he was bad at keeping his emotions bottled up, and the feelings he had for Alyssa were quite strong by now. "There's not much we can do now... so, we should just meet back in the morning here. Milady, may you meet us back here with your gathered information and knowledge?" she asked. She smiled at all of them. "We shall be leaving soon, the person living here may get back soon..." she said. "I will." said the Grey lady and the door slammed to the room of requirement. "So we have about an hour...want to go to the library or something?" Alyssa asked to Zach and Angus. "Just to kill time and to think about what to do next." Angus seemed a little surprised, or shocked, or annoyed that he was there. He couldn't decide which one or ones they were even though he is pretty good at reading people. He was in a tough spot without a marauders map and his detection spell wasn't exactly great because it didn't reveal who the person was, and is better when still. "Better then nothing he thought." and casted the spell.OoC: *pouts* i wanted a boom... walks over to message. covers in gunpowder and gasoline. make a fuse with the gunpowder. stands back and lights with lighter. "BOOM" i say as it hits the gasoline. but all it just shot out a hundred little red flags with the word boom on it. "C'mon!" kicks it. i blow up. What about you?" his Scottish accent by this time was the strongest it'd been in a very long time. He wanted to tell her how he felt but he wasn't entirely sure that the time would be right. He didn't want to make things awkward between them if they were going to have to be working together for ths period of time. He decided he'd see how comfortable she was aroun him for the next little while before he said anything. But she'd definately know by the end of the night if she seemed okay around him. "oh well might as well read." He went over to the muggle section of the library and picked up a nice think book about a thousand pages. He sat down in a chair, holding the book with one hand a line of defensive spells ready on the tip of his wand.OoC: still no boom? gets atom bomb and drops on message. Pink creature shows up with big n on chest. "NO its the noid and he's here to ruin my pizza!" Angus paused trying to make sure his accent didn't get too strong."Do you know any shortcuts?" "I hope I didn't wierd her out by spacing out there." Angus felt a lot of tension there, but it didn't seem like Alyssa would be too wierded out be him having feelings for her. Time would tell though. He looked into her eyes and hoped he wouldn't stair too long, he felt himself starting to get a little lost then looked down for a second blushing. Proto Posted January 1, 2010 Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 OOC: Actually I am very much here, just making a plot point people, just making a plot point.   Rumford ran down the halls frequently having only recently escaped from being completely petrified. He was in panic as his tiny mind was racing, his owner was dead and he had no place to go. He quickly searched for a person to person trying to approach at least someone he might have the slightest connection to. Eventually he found the Hospital Wing and dashed inside looking place to place, keeping away from the groping hands of the nurses and doctors. He had saw a small flash of brown hair and noticed Alyssa go past the room, away from his master, he panicked again, this girl was one of his masters closest companions how could she not help him? "Yeah, I think there's one through this tapestry...nah..." she felt it and felt only solid wall. "Or was it this flaming torch..." she pressed on the wall and the wall opened up to be slammed after them. She thought she heard a skrewt's cry...when she turned around she saw Rumford. She pushed on the wall again, letting Rumford in. "Oh hi there..." she said softly, stroking the little skrewt's shell. "Come on, let's go to the library," said Alyssa smiling at Angus through the dark. She stared at his brown eyes and hoped she wasn't staring too long. She backed away blushing but then turned around and led him to the library. She sat down in one of the couches, beckoning for Angus to do the same. He was really conflicted he wanted to spend some time with Alyssa, but the Skewrt seemed really off. perhaps there was somthing wrong with his owner Angus thought, he had a knack for Care for Magical Creatures, and he'd worked with Skewrts last year. He could tell that Rumford's behaviour wasn't normal."I think we need to check this out Alyssa. This could be major. Maybe there's been another attack." She stroked Rumford's shell in an attempt to calm him down. "Either that or he's really hungry. Maybe they have some pumpkin in the great hall..." He said the last three words in his mind only. But still Alyssa seemed really keen to spend time with him, that proved that she wouldn't be too wierded out by his feelings for her. She stood up and stretched. "Let's go." She started walking for the door, carrying Rumford. "I have some strips of meat used to take care of my other skrewt, so maybe I'll use that for a mobile food supply." They walked around the castle to the Great hall and walked inside, each enjoying each other's company. Luckily there were some pumpkins at the Slytherin table, probably put there just for Blues, so she took some and placed the heavy load into her bookbag. "I don't have a knife though...I"ll just transfigure something into one later..." Alyssa thought aloud. She checked her watch, seeing they had thirty minutes before curfew. "I never just looked at the sky" he said to himself quietly as he sat up "oh well" he thought, "time to head back to the common room" he said as he stood up and forwarded out although he didn't take the direct root he took several detours wasting time but finally he made it to the common room. Skarlet Posted January 1, 2010 Report Share Posted January 1, 2010 Angus sighed, maybe now was the time to tell her, his mind was racing, so was his heart, he smiled to her, in this room, with the candle light and the enchanted roof mirroring the sky above her, she seemed even more beautiful to him then she had before, he knew his feelings had come on suddenly, but he knew that they were real, this was somthing he had to say now. he wondered, what would it be like to be with her, would things change too much, would they be a good couple? Angus was getting ahead of himself, he didn't even know that she felt the same way, it was all just a majorly outside chance."Alyssa-" He began, his accent was so strong at this point that he wondered if she would even understand him. He was amazed by hogwarts's huge library ranging from muggle books to potions, charms, hexes, curses, and forbidden section, made Zach wonder how old some of the books must be, and how long it took to find them. He then left the library and raised his wand. He tried to summon any (2009) kind of food (2010!) but was to weak to do it. He couldn't pull off any spell no matter the size. He reached the common room still very weak from hunger. He went and took out his sandwich he didn't eat on the train and ate it. He felt so much better and stronger. He couldn't allow that thought to enter his head less he froze up with fear, he was confident to a degree, but not impervious, he was after all terribly nervous. she probably thought he sounded rediculous with his accent the way it was. He took a deep breath, steeling himself for what he was about to say."Alyssa, I know this is going to sound rediculous, and I understand that you'll probably never feel the same way as I do, but I kinda -" He hesitated, trying to keep his accent under control, but he blushed brightly. I kinda feel that way about you too." she smiled. "I would feel even more so if there wasn't a petrifier on the lose. Which doesn't mean I'm turning you down." She grinned and then hugged Angus again. She then sat down on a nearby bench and fed Rumford some more pumpkin. Usually, the way things worked was that girls would like Angus, but he wouldn't like them back, and when he finally did find someone he liked, she would reject him and leave him feeling depressed and worthless."R-Really?" Angus sounded stunned, his accent was back to it's normal level. What did this mean? Did he have a girlfriend now? Or was it just a neutral thing?"Well, maybe once the petrifer is caught, we could go out some time, take lunch from the hall and eat together out by the lake?"
