Background: His parents died when he was four, and his foster parents abandoned him when he was seven. He found a portal to the Digital World at the age twelve, and he has been there ever since. He also found a Keramon, named it Kera, and it's his only friends.

Personality: Usually nice. He can be temperamental, though. Despite his past, he's actually quite friendly.

Background: He didn't really have much going for him, until Kentaku Metsuya came. He just sat in his mud-and-straw house.

Appearance:

Background: She was a medieval princess, abducted and taken to the Digital World at the age of nine. She has one of the seven Digi-Gems buried in her heart.

Personality: Far-fetched. The stone in her heart can change her mood, like it has its own mind.

Appearance:

Background: He disguised himself for hundreds of years in the human world as Moki Jadar. He was actually born in the year 1304.

Personality: He is extremely evil, but he usually lies and pretends he's a nice, clean person.

Appearance:

Background: There's not much to it. He was a reincarnation of the original Spinomon, but mixed with the DNA of the last living DinoRexmon, making its species extinct.

Personality: It doesn't have one because it follows its controller's every command.

Appearance:

Background: Born in the sea, this great creature now follows Ponsar. He has reached his full power from an unknown source.

Personality: Envious, normally, but there has been a change recently.

Prologue

Into the Digital World

"Aahh!" I yelled as I sprinted away from Moki Jadar.

 

I'm Kentaku Metsuya, and I have a little problem with ticking people off. Especially Moki. For some reason I really liked messing with him.

 

Anyway, he was chasing me for saying he needs a new hair-doo. But there was something wrong with his running, because he wasn't running at all. He wasn't moving, just hovering above the ground, faster than me! Aw, come on, you idiot. Run! I told myself. I saw a pale green light ahead of me. I had no choice. I jumped. If this was an illusion, I'm dead. There were four things that could happen. Possibility number one: Moki catches me. Possibility number two: I crack my head on the pavement. Possibility number three: all of the above. Possibility number four: I live?

 

"Here goes," I said, and I dove into the light.

 

"Impossible! You can access the Digital World?!" Moki sounded pretty mad.

 

Digital World? What was that, and how did he know? I didn't have time to think. I closed my eyes, clenched my teeth, and got ready for my head to break open.

 

...? Nothing. No blood, no pain, no ... street. There wasn't a street anymore. Well, there was, but there wasn't. It was way above me, along with the rest of the world. I could see the whole island of Japan, but on the road where I was before, there was a red dot. Moki. Then, he vanished, and a red dot appeared in the Pacific Ocean, and another atop Mt. Everest. Bigger red dots.

 

I probably would have stared at them all day, had there have not been a rasping sound behind me. "Gah!" I screamed as a purple octopus thing walked up behind me. I noticed two things then. That I was in a desert hotter than the Sahara, and that the octopus thing wasn't an octopus.

 

It had antennae, two huge eyes, a smiling mouth that sort of looked like it couldn't frown, two spindly arms, and about twenty tentacles for a body. And it was talking, "Hi."

 

"Ah!" I yelled again. My eyes were wide and I didn't have a change of underwear with me.

 

"I'm Keramon, call me Kera. I'm a Digimon," it said. Digimon? Keramon? Just where was I? Well, it answered my question, "Welcome to the Digital World."
