legolover09
Solya always brought her duel disk everywhere, but she hid it. It was hidden as a time piece. After having pressed a button, The clock interface would open and a duel disk would flatten out. She wondered when Telos would find out. It appeared that everyone knew. Solya was wondering why the Kaliya was aloud to sleep near the palace. And in a tree, no less. She walked away from her spot where she could spy on Kaliya and moved down to the busy streets. She walked with purpose, but as of this moment, she wasn't sure what purpose.
έκλειψη
Telos grinned. It seemed that Kaliya was playing the devil's advocate in the conversation. She didn't mind, however. She simply nodded. "Good point, I suppose." The Queen decided to leave Kaliya be, noticing the girl almost fall from the branch on which she sat. "If you wish to be annoyed some other time, just call for me!" Telos smiled, walking onto the craze field. Her armor began to glow as it activated, the field altering to a rocky terrain, jagged spikes emerging from the earth. She decided to practice, kicking the ball a few times. The ball pierced through stone, a trail of dust and smoke behind it. A kick on the field wasn't very harmful, however, for the armor made can take an otherwise devastating hit. That is, of course, excluding times when the field is in Void. As the breeze grew in strength, it blew the dirt and smoke towards Kaliya. Telos could only grin, knowing what had happened. The wind grew even stronger, as if it were punishing the land by whipping it constantly. It only happened for seconds at a time, however, and when the wind was calm, small insects and birds would stay near the trees and flowers, enjoying the little they saw in their life.
Blackstone Dresden
Kaliya coughed and muttered some unladylike things about the smoke before hopping out of the tree, landing with the kind of precision and grace that only comes with a history of broken bones. She patted the rest of the dirt off her clothing and fixed up her hair as best she could, though she never really cared about her looks anyway, she knew every man in the area thought she was extremely beautiful and that was more than enough of an ego boost to allow her to let her mussed hair slide without feeling self-conscious. She looked off at the Queen, shrugged, and started walking to the craze field. Dejahk, meanwhile, fell into step besides Solya from seemingly nowhere, a trick that he learned as a kid and never seemed to outgrow, though his overall bearing didn't seem like one that still found joy in his childhood pleasures. Everyone they walked past seemed to visibly back away from him, in fact, as if they knew him and his reputation as a common thug. Of course, the rumors were true, but he was not a thug, he simply believed in taking the law in his own hands, which often ended in various nicks, cuts, and contusions for any nearby lawbreakers. Of course, his method of justice wasn't exactly legal, but he seemed to give himself a free pass. Still, he just sighed and shook his head at the scared passersby. έκλειψη
Telos continued to practice, jagged stones shattering as they were hit with the ball. Upon seeing Kaliya approach the field, she stopped and deactivated the field, awaiting what she thought would be a challenge from Kaliya. The Queen sat down looking to Kaliya with a grin. "Yes, what's wrong? I didn't get you dirty... Or, dirtier, did I?" The grin on her face stayed as she awaited a response, and the wind continued to have the occasional gust. Birds decided to take advantage of the now available space on the tree, and they sat down, looking towards the two. Whether or not they actually knew what was happening would probably never be known, but they still seemed like they were anxious to see something happen.
Blackstone Dresden
"Yes, yes you did. But I don't mind." Kaliya said, shrugging one shoulder "With the amount of time I spend outside, a little dirt and dust is unavoidable." She smiled "So, why did you stop? I was just coming to watch the game. Unless you have another idea, that is, in which case I'd love to hear it and kill time before the game starts." She said "I've never actually been to a craze game before, or even played, so I'd like to see how it works."
THEChanger
A lone figure sat in the stands of the Craze field. He wore archaic, black armor, looking most out of place in this modern day and age. Upon one arm, he wore what appeared to be a shield. This was in fact his Duel Disk. Helig Mörker watched the two young women on the field below, making sure the Queen was safe. That was, after all, his job. Though, truth be told, he would rather be anywhere else than out in the bright sun. "Why does the Queen find this sunshine so enjoyable?" Helig wondered to himself. "You could play this silly game just as well at night. It'd probably be more interesting. But, as the Queen wills."
έκλειψη
Telos was a bit surprised; it appeared the amount of hostility in Kaliya's voice had lessened. Most people Telos knew would hold quite a grudge against such things."You've never played a game of craze?" Telos didn't understand how someone that roamed about the palace all the time had never participated in her favorite sport! She couldn't let that remain true for long; Kaliya had to play. Before asking Kaliya if she had any armor, she looked to Helig, who was in the stands, a lone spectator. She turned back to Kaliya, blinking with a rather blank expression before remembering what she was talking about. "Armor... Yes, do you have any armor to play?"
Blackstone Dresden
"Ha, yeah, right" Kaliya said, walking over to the stands "Even if I did, I'd rather not waste my time and energy getting beaten by the queen in some sport I've never played." She said, her back to Telos "I think I would rather watch today's game so I actually know the rules. Otherwise, it wouldn't be any fun, right? It would be like Pegasus, God have mercy on his sick perverted soul, dueling against some kid that just built his first deck, not only would it be over insanely fast, it wouldn't even be that fun to watch, just pathetic." legolover09
Solya kept walking down to a place she had wanted to visit for a while. She was o close to the building when a door opened next to her and she was pulled inside. Solya couldn't turn on her duel disk because her arms were both held by people. I wonder which side these people are on, she thought, and do they know which side I prefer?
έκλειψη
OOC: Monster Spirits are allowed, but PM me about them first; not everyone shall have one. You may, but others who wish to should send me a message. Also, Legolover, please make sure your posts are at least five sentences. This is your first of three warnings. Also, don't try to accelerate the plot so much. It leads to a boring role play when people try to blast through the plot and end up doing nothing for a hundred pages until another plot is created. Also, make sure you use something to distinguish normal text from thought or speech. ~:IC:~ Telos nodded. "I one-sided fight indeed," the Queen stated, seeing other people approaching the field from the other side. She waved her arms happily as they neared, and they waved in return. These were normal citizens of Blyxwrath rule, living near the palace. As they stepped onto the field, they activated it again, yet this time crystal platforms developed, a glowing, neon-blue liquid beneath them. The rings designed for bonus points were now engulfed in a green fire as well. The group split into their teams and prepared for play, looking at one another. When the game timer started, Telos delivered the first kick, passing the silver orb to a teammate in front of her. The young man was continuing down the field he met the first gap between crystal platforms, though he kicked the ball into the air before jumping, then performing a bicycle kick across the gap. Upon landing, a member of the opposing team went for the ball, using their armor's ability to slide beneath the man and steal the ball. Telos chased after them, however, and kicked the ball away, her teammate receiving the ball and kicking it into the goal net. 1-0 Telos walked to the edge of the field, jumping over the strange fluid, and spoke to Kaliya."It's like the ancient sport fútbol; just try to get the ball into the goal. Getting them through the rings will give you fewer points, but they can be aimed for as well."
Blackstone Dresden
Kaliya nodded, not really listening "Uh huh, I see" She said, suppressing a giggle as Ruby started batting at her own tail like a common cat. "Sorry, just got a weird memory flashback, one of those 'you had to be there' moments, not something that I can explain or anything." She said, smiling still as her Spirit Partner started playing with her own ears and making faces in blatant mockery of the queen Ruby, you've got to stop that. She thought to herself, shaking her head Please?
έκλειψη
Telos raised an eyebrow but dismissed the suppressed laughter, turning around and returning to the field. As the next round started, the other team gained possession of the ball and managed to attempt a goal. It was blocked, however, though a member of the opposing team did score by kicking the ball midair with a back-flip. The ball looked like a comet, dust scattering across the field. Entering the center ring, the team Telos was against gained five points. The Queen looked down the field, and as the match started, she darted towards the goal, ignoring the rest of the game. It seemed like she didn't care anymore, but she had a purpose for doing such. Her teammates had a difficult time getting the ball down the field, yet after successfully breaking through, the ball continued down the field smoothly. Another obstacle appeared, however, when a human wall was formed to block any chance of an accurate shot. A young man shot the ball, somewhat wildly, yet yet was close enough for Telos to reach out with a leg and curve the ball into the center ring, giving her team five points. 6-5 She sat down yet again, looking over to Kaliya. Something was awkward about her laughter; it rarely ever happened, but she decided not to worry herself over it.
Blackstone Dresden
Kaliya was just barely paying attention to the game and was far more interested in whatever Ruby was doing at the time, though the red Beast was messing around directly in front of the field, so it looked like Kaliya was absolutely mesmerized by the game, when in fact she was watching her invisible cat friend try and fail to swat down a poor unsuspecting butterfly that most probably didn't even realize she existed. Of course, to the Gem girl, it was far and away more interesting than it sounded.
έκλειψη
11-5! Game! As the game ended, teams met and congratulated the winners, everyone still joyous. Telos smiled and hugged all of the competitors before waving farewell, as the others had things to do. She did as well, but she had another hour or so before meetings began. She walked over to Kaliya, stepping immediately beside the monster spirit she wasn't aware of. Sitting down, her armor began to revert into it's orb form, detaching from her and fitting into the palm of her hand. Underneath the armor were more casual clothes, similar to those of her sister, Hiyori. She looked over to Kaliya, who seemed to be in a trance of sorts. "Hey, Kaliya... What are you looking at?" She nudged Kaliya, then sighing. There wasn't much to do before meetings began. Perhaps later in the day she would be able to play again, or relax within the palace walls, but for now, she had an empire to rule. "Anything you wish to do, Kaliya?" Telos asked, still waiting for Kaliya to regain awareness of the world around her.
Blackstone Dresden
"Huh? What now?" Kaliya asked, snapping herself out of the trance that Ruby put her in "I sorta spaced out for a minute... or ten... or more..." She said, laughing "Alright, anyway, what were you saying? Something I wanna do? Not really, no, maybe take a walk and get something to eat, walk around the town, try to find something to do." She shrugged "Who knows?" She stood up and looked at the sky "Should probably flip that around though, its about time for dinner." She mused, comparing the angle of the sun with the horizon. έκλειψη
Telos shrugged, looking at the sun. "I'm sorry, it appears I don't even have that much time anymore... I guess I should be leaving now. My pardons again for having to depart." Telos stood and turned around, heading towards the Palace. It was time she began meeting with others again, though she didn't really like the task. ((OOC: Writer's Block...))

THEChanger
Night had fallen. Sweet, blessed night. Normally, Helig would have taken this opporunity to lie on a nice patch of grass, and stare at the beautiful stars. Tonight, however, he had work to do. Rumors had been circulating amongst the guards that a few towns over, there were attacks being made by monsters. While they were probably just rumors, it was still his responsibility to check it out. As he mounted his duel runner, he looked to the Queen's chambers. "No. It's mearly a routine patrol." Helig thought to himself. "No need to alert the Queen. Besides, she would probably insist on coming. And that would put her in unnesessary danger." As Helig drove through the gates of the Capital, he couldn't shake the feeling that tonight was going to be a very long night indeed.OoC: Now would be a good time for any of the evil peeps to come in, if they want too.
