DL
CH 11 is here! ^.^[spoiler=Chapter 11]Chapter 11 - Sleepless Night Daisuke opened his eyes. It was still dark. He moved his hand up and it met something soft. He looked down to see what his hand was touching. Mitsuki’s eyes flickered open. She looked down and once she saw what Daisuke was groping, he was kicked out of the tent and landed on his face. Daisuke sighed. “Something like this was bound to happen, huh?” Daisuke turned around and saw that Ayame was sitting right next to him. Ayame scratched her head. “What happened here Daisuke?” Daisuke chuckled. “Oh, it’s nothing, really. I just got kicked out by Mitsuki-san…” Ayame hugged Daisuke. “You poor thing, Mitsuki-chan is too mean. Come on, you can sleep in my tent.” Daisuke blushed. “I thought Suzuki-san was there too, how are all three of us going to fit?” Ayame dragged Daisuke to her tent. “Well figure out some way. I’m sure Suzuki will be happy too.” Daisuke was shoved inside the tent and Ayame crawled in behind. Ayame brought a finger up to her mouth for Daisuke to stay silent. Daisuke nodded as Ayame lied down and pulled Daisuke next to her. Daisuke was lying down between Suzuki and Ayame, a deep blush on his face. A chill passed through as Ayame closed the tent. Daisuke gulped and try to fight back his urge to sneeze. A few moments later, he sneezed. Suzuki sat up and rubbed her eye. “What’s wrong, Ayame-san? What happened?” She opened her eyes and saw Daisuke. A few seconds passed and Suzuki finally realized that Daisuke was in front of her. Suzuki blushed and backed away. “W-what are you doing here, Daisuki-kun?” Daisuke chuckled nervously. “Well, you see, Mitsuki-san kicked me out of our tent, and Ayame-san said I could sleep here. I’m sorry if I startled you.” Suzuki shook her head. “No, Daisuki-kun, it’s just, once I saw you here in the middle of the night, trying to be as quiet as possible, I thought you might be here to harass me in my sleep. I wouldn’t have minded very much, so next time you should just ask.” Daisuke chuckled uncomfortably. “Even if you say it like that…” Ayame sighed. “No, Daisuke isn’t here to harass you. He’s here because he needs to sleep well so that tomorrow he can be at full strength.” The tent gave a slight shake. Suzuki gave a startled cry and hugged Daisuke. Daisuke scratched his head. “I’m sure it’s just the wind, Suzuki-san. There’s no need to worry.” Ayame opened the door and saw Mitsuki outside. Mitsuki poked her head inside the tent. “I thought I heard talking. So, what are you doing inside their tent, Daisuke? Did you come here to harass them, too?” Daisuke shook his head. “No, it’s nothing like that! Ayame-san just let me sleep here tonight, since otherwise I was going to have to sleep in the cold.” Mitsuki grabbed Daisuke’s arm and dragged him out of the tent. “Then you should have refused politely, seeing as three’s a crowd, and with you in the tent, it makes three.” Daisuke followed Mitsuki out of the tent. Mitsuki entered her tent. Daisuke was about to follow her when Mitsuki closed the tent door in his face. Daisuke sighed and curled up in the ground. As his head pressed against the ground, he felt cold steel against the side of his face. He sat up and looked at the ground. He touched it with one hand, and felt something cold. He brushed the dirt off, and uncovered a metal handle. He gripped it and pulled. A door swung open, making the dirt on top of it slide off. Daisuke’s eyes widened as he saw a staircase descend into the ground. He looked around and thought about calling Mitsuki to help him investigate, but he shook his head to clear that thought out of his head. “Mitsuki-san has enough to worry about, and I can’t rely on her all the time. Plus, I still have the sword Suzuki-san gave me. I just hope I don’t have to use it.” Daisuke took a deep breath and descended down the staircase. He was instantly engulfed in darkness as the door to the entrance swung shut, locked from the outside.
