Internet Intellect

There are 5 categories used to determine this:

Question 1: “Lol” It's stupid, but I use it when I'm too lazy to form a comeback, which is seldom.

Question 2: Sarcasm on the internet. I use it, but it's kind of hard to see if the user is using sarcasm because it's just letters. You can't hear the tone of the voice.

Question 4: Arguing politics. Is fun. But it can lead to forum wars.

Question 4: Do you have a ridiculously detailed explanation for why Communism or Capitalism is better? No.

Question 5: Do you frequently “win” arguments by bringing up such trivial and complex abstract ideas that your opponent dies of a migraine? I often win arguments, but it's simply a matter of logic. I don't bring up trivial nor complex abstract ideas.

Question 6: Have you ever asked someone “Can you prove this whole reality isn’t an illusion?” Yes. No one can prove it, since I only see the world from my point of view so all of you might as well be my illusions. However I might be your illusion. We would never know.

Question 7: Do you use the possibility of everything being an illusion as the basis of your arguments, default to the illusion scenario for most examples or counters, and/or “Win” arguments via these? No.

Section 3: Disdain

Tell whether or not the following is stupid and/or beneath you. If it’s a phrase, answer yes or no as to whether or not you use it with any regularity.

Question 1: “Lol
Sometimes.
Question 2: Sarcasm on the internet.
Yes, as long as it's a joke, and not to be an ass.
Question 3: People that haven’t logged as much time on a website as you have.
No one is beneath me. I am human. How can I be above other humans?
Question 4: Arguing politics.
I know nothing of politics.
Question 5: Arguing religion.
No, because people have the right to believe in what they want.
Question 6: “lolno”
See Question 9 in the Meme section and you tell me.
Question 7: “gtfo my interwebz”
Nope. I used it once in a pic.
Question 8: “TL;DR”
If I am going to respond to a question with a really long story, why would I not read it all and still post?
Question 9: Anime and/or Video Games outside the genre you prefer, or are in the genre of your favorite game and enjoyed more than said game by others.
People can like what they want. I don't care.
Question 10: People that are fans of music yet got into it via guitar hero.
People are still listening to the music when they are playing Guitar Hero, so it is really the same thing as listening to it on the radio.

Section 4: “Deep” Stuff

Question 1: Do you think arguing religion is pointless?
Yes, because people have the right to believe in what they want. As a matter of fact, Christianity, Islam, and Judaism all believe in one God, triumphing over evil, and these are three major religions in the world. Their origins are also very closely related. Not only that, a lot of religions believe in a God or Gods triumphing over what is evil. So why do they fight?
Question 2: Do you argue that morality is pointless due to different definitions of right and wrong?
No, because morality may not always be clear, but it is for the most part clear. If you believe murdering someone is okay, then you are either insane or not raised right. Morality may not always be clear, but it should be clear enough that when it is fuzzy, we will have good enough judgement to make the right decision, from our conscience.
Question 3: Do you use the terms “Categorical Imperative”, “Moral Relativism”, “Invisible Hand”, or “Laissez-Faire” with any regularity?
You don't need large, fancy, in depth words to make a strong, powerful argument. It isn't how big the words are that counts, it's how big the idea is, how strong it is, how much thought and belief you have in it.
Question 4: Do you have a ridiculously detailed explanation for why Communism or Capitalism is better?
I know crap about politics.
Question 5: Do you frequently “win” arguments by bringing up such trivial and complex abstract ideas that your opponent dies of a migraine?
No, because in intellectual discussions I am invisible. Not only that, I hardly ever debate, out of fear I might break a debate section rule.
Question 6: Have you ever asked someone “Can you prove this whole reality isn’t an illusion?”
No, because whether reality is real or not, it is still real to us. If reality is an illusion, we should charish it as if it were real, because if it is an illusion, it may be the closest thing to reality we may have.
Question 7: Do you use the possibility of everything being an illusion as the basis of your arguments, default to the illusion scenario for most examples or counters, and/or “Win” arguments via these?
If you have the same argument to win every discussion, you are desperate.
Question 8: Have you ever insinuated that animals, inanimate objects, etc might have emotions or think on a human level?
Inanimate objects, no, because they are not alive. You have to be alive first to feel and think. Animals, however, can think and feel, but not at a human level. Cats think "Uhhh......eat?" We think "I hear the new pizza place down the street has good food, I could go there, but I'd have to stop by an ATM first.
Question 9: Do you claim to have “Empath Abilities”?
You mean psychic powers? Try reading my sig.
Question 10: Do you frequently Mindfuck people by overanalyzing everything they say?
In real life, yes. On the internet, no, because I am invisible in intellectual internet discussions. Also, Amethyst, you aren't saying anything, you are typing on the internet.

Section 5: Sarcasm

Question 1: Have you ever needed to attach Sarc tags to your posts?
Do it right or not at all. Which means no sarcasm tags.
Question 2: Do your sarcastic remarks frequently induce lulz?
No, because that often requires inappropriate terms, or making fun of others. However, when I can make a funny sarcasm joke without using negative terms, I take advantage.
Question 3: Do you settle all intellectual discussions via witty remarks?
If someone is asking for an intellectual, serious discussion, do you think making a witty remark means you are serious? No. If someone is asking for a serious discussion, you should be serious, especially since on the internet many people make topics like "HAI GUIZE, WUT'Z NOO 2DAY?"
Question 4: Do you ever type in a dry tone?
If you mean boring, then yes. Sometimes you have to. If everyone were to use a flavorful tone all the time, then someone might actually get their feelings hurt, because I've seen that here, sarcasm is used as a weapon very often.
Question 5: Do you ever Start talkin liek dis?
Ya. it iz liek sooo fun. I reely liek 2 doo dat.
Question 6: Do you frequently shift to a “higher” vocabulary when making sarcastic replies?
Sarcasm is humor. Humor does not require a high vocabulary repertoire. Serious, intellectual discussion does.
Question 7: Have you given a snarky/deadpan answer to ANY of the
questions on this test?
NO. This test NEVER calls for not being serious. I mean, look at the MEME SECTION. WOW, I NEVER knew this test would be so SERIOUS. I think I'm going to DIE of dry BOREDOM. It is also very valid and enlightening. Really.
Question 8: Is your reply to this thread going to be something along the lines of “This is so valid and enlightening. Really.”?
Possibly. I guess we'll find out, won't we?
Question 9: Have you ever done a “Weather Report” Style review/edit of someone’s story/fanfic/poetry?
Feedback should be serious and straight foward. Someone worked hard on their piece, so they deserve serious feedback, and not some witty remark that shows no interest in their work.
Question 10: Do you scoff often?
No. That is inpolite and uncalled for in almost every situation, unless it's humorous, and friendly.
1 question in grammar nobody has gotten correct

4 questions in memes nobody has gotten correct

Disdain, Deep Stuff, and Sarcasm sections' points are determined more upon how you answer it, rather than there being a solid correct answer.

Section 1:

1) Either another sentence or the end of the post.

2) Very well, thank you.

3) In traditional Christian doctrine, the two are one and the same. The purpose in life is to do well in one's role so as to glorify the name of God and thus do good. Hence, a carpenter does good by doing well as a carpenter for God. Then there was some row about faith versus works and now apparently goodness is determined by how much you hate gays or something.

4) Forget about the last question; why does this question have "standpoint" split into two words?

5) That sort of thing is too common for it to be physically possible to grant each use a verbal response.

6) The apostrophe in "other's" should actually be after the "s", because it is the possessive form of a plural noun. Does that answer your question?

7) Amethyst sucks. Anyone giving Amethyst a friendly greeting is horribly wrong.

8) Neither, because you screwed up the positions of the semicolon and question mark.

9) "Snack". Om nom nom nom.

10) I can't even read this, so I'm going to tell you a story about a man crawling through the desert. (Actually, there's no time for that.)

Section 2:

1) FRUIT PUNCH! It's yummy.

2) Skipping fifth questions in the second sections of quizzes is pretty good as well.

3) Too many people. Seriously, guys, it isn't funny anymore. Stop it before you ruin Life of Brian as well.

4) Skipping fourth questions. That's why I didn't do that.

6) Who is "they"? Is it someone specific, or is this an ambiguous, unknown "someone"?

7) A meaningless pile of secrets. But enough talk. Have at you!

8) I'm not a Republic serial villain. Do you seriously think I'd explain my master-stroke if there remained the slightest chance of you affecting its outcome? I did it thirty-five minutes ago.

9) I was hoping it wasn't going to be that stupid video again, but you let me down, so I gave you up.

10) International Postal Union? Gmail, I would guess. It threatens to put them out of work.

I am skipping section 3 because it sucks.

Section 4:

1) My amusement is all the point it needs.

2) The argument for absolute subjectivism is self-negating, since if we assume that everything is equally valid depending on the opinion of the observer, then that means that the statement "everything is equally valid depending on the opinion of the observer" is false depending on who's looking at it. Thus, if it's true, it's also false. Contradiction.

3) No, just quantum physics, special relativity, and dog food.

4) Screw them both; use science to reach post-scarcity. It may be unrealistic, but your reality sucks anyhow.

5) No, I typically lose arguments by becoming convinced that my opponent does not actually speak my language and abandoning them.

6) Watching The Matrix qualifies as deep now?

7) This question does not exist.

8) Meow.

9) This question reminds me of Counselor Troi. She was pretty much the worst character ever, since her entire purpose was to look at the Romulan commander that was screaming and throwing chairs around and proclaim that she sensed hostility. Seems like empath powers don't cover very much.

10) This question indicates that, if you were in the desert and came across an upside-down tortoise, you wouldn't flip it over. Why wouldn't you flip it over? In fact, why am I on YCM instead of watching Blade Runner?

Section 5:

1) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

2) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

3) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

4) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

5) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

6) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

7) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

8) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

9) [sarcasm]Yes.[/sarcasm]

10) "Yes" was a really good band from Time and a Word through Relayer, as long as you assume that Tales of Topographic Oceans doesn't exist.

No spoiler tags because I don't feel like it.
