Ǚĺƫĩɱąƫë Ðûëĺĩșƫ
i think mods should have to have a good reason why they lock a thread. Example: my first rp i made, (eevee cave) got locked by rinne for absolutely no reason. his exact words were: (((Old thread is old. LOCKED.))) i'm really poed so yeah... tell me if u agree
Lyfe.
If they are locking the thread in the first place, they had a good reason. Besides, they can if they want to. You don't like it, tough.
Limited Edition KING
Well I agree that mods should have a reason but rinne said Old thread is old and I'm guessing that he meant either it was necrobumped or it has been inactive but I'm sure that all mods have a good reason for locking threads. Ǚĺƫĩɱąƫë Ðûëĺĩșƫ
not always... it was slightly inactive, but it had only been inactive for about a week
Polycarp
About a week = long enough to lock =/
Phantom Roxas
Rinne locked the thread because people weren't roleplaying as good as he expects out of everyone. Most mods post good reason before locking a thread, and Rinne's methods of moderation are better off ignored. Your thread was inactive for two weeks, and apparently you trying to get activity going again in your own roleplay annoyed him. I actually sympathize with your feelings regarding the lock. ◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
It only takes about a Week of inactivity for something to be closed. In other words, if you didn't keep it active, that was your fault. They are only doing their job, so appreciate they closed it anyway, instead of wasting dead time on an RP that isn't performing anything.
Ǚĺƫĩɱąƫë Ðûëĺĩșƫ
i just don't think its fair. i think either the prson should say it should be locked, or theres a good reason, like not being advanced
Scyire
Mods are mods for a reason. They are smart people. Irony: Your sig says "Be afraid of the Charmander with the BANHAMMER!!!"This is a thread where you are complaining about the BANHAMMER!!!>.>
Ǚĺƫĩɱąƫë Ðûëĺĩșƫ
not really. (i don't think the banhammer has aything to do with closing threads)
◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
Technically, it's not the Banhammer, it is the Lockkey. xDDD YacwutIdidthur?Anywho, that was a fail on your part for letting it get inactive Ultimate Duelist. Surely people weren't performing necessary activity which is seen in RP's, which is probably why it was closed. Also, Rinne is a smart Mod, and knows when things are gone, and dead. If you want to mope about something pathetically horrific as this, it makes no sense and is a waste of your life. Just make another RP, and try to advertise it. If people don't join, it is because people find no interest. If people don't post, it is because they are to busy, or forgot about it. Try to remind people and it will be much easier. Phantom Roxas
It only takes about a Week of inactivity for something to be closed. In other words' date=' if you didn't keep it active, that was your fault. They are only doing their job, so appreciate they closed it anyway, instead of wasting dead time on an RP that isn't performing anything.[/quote'] Where is there a rule that says "Threads while be closed after one week of inactivity"? i just don't think its fair. i think either the prson should say it should be locked' date=' or theres a good reason, like not being advanced[/quote'] It's not fair. I personally thought the Tag System was fine, and abolishing it was completely unnecessary. Rinne thought it wasn't advanced, but looked it under the grounds that it's two weeks old. I'm looking at the title, and I have to say that you're giving up too easily. I actually agree with you.
◊ Hᵃᵏᵃˢᵉ ◊
There is no rule, but my point is, if no one has posted after a week, surely no one will post after. Its already been proven throughout the RP Section. I RP in as many as possible, and half the time, if people haven't posted within 3 Days, it's over, and no one posts there anymore.
