Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry [Advanced/Started/Accepting by PM]

"That would sure be unfair being not able to see a Thestral then being run over it," Alyssa shuddered as well. "But they're pretty gentle creatures, my mum says.

"Yeah, that'd suck, jsut being crushed by an unknown force. But ya' know Hagrid, the old Care of Magical Creatures teacher? I heard that he said they were pretty gentle too." Alex said, opening a book of spells, curses, jinxes, and hexes. It wasn't on the list of books to buy for school, but she figured that this book would come in handy.

"Oh, I have that book too!" Alyssa pulled out her copy. "It's very helpful. That's how I learned the molar lengthening spell!" She looked through her book. "Here's the jelly legs jinx...may come in handy"

Blues grunted and reached for the next carriage with dismay. Truely those people have been decent, but did he really wish his brother to be with those kind of folk. He then heard a rustling in his bag and pulled out his gnome, Jeffrey. "Hey wha's the big idea 'ues" the potato-headed creature that Blues had always carried to Hogwarts. "Well Jeff, I needed somebody to talk to, you see my brother just started here at Hogwarts..." The stubby creature then struggled away from Blues and said "Get ya own 'riends" and proceeded to jump off the carriage as it flew into the air.

"Ooh the bat bogey hex!" Alex said, grinning. She would have a lot of fun this year at Hogwarts. "Have yout hought about what career you're going to take after you graduate from Hogwarts?

"My mum wants me to be an auror, but I think I'll take a job in the site for magical catastrophes at the ministry," replied Alyssa, also smiling. "I'll be able to learn a lot of havor wreaking hexes there!"

Gary stepped onto the boat with a lot of other First Years, they looked nervous. Gary of course was excited. "I can't wait for the the sorting and other things." Gary said with a smile to another First Year student. He then turned around to see something a gnome. "Well hello there." Gary said to the gnome.

"I'm going to be an Auror." Alex said. "It sounds like a fun job. Or maybe a beater for the Holyhead Harpies. That'd be fun."

"Yeah, that would be fun..." said Alyssa distractedly. "Oh, look, we're at the castle!" The castle was beautiful, It's stone turrets now turned to metal with a new modern renovation.

 

OoC: What's the headmaster's name?

~Eh, just Mr. HM. For all teachers itll be like that. for example, the DADA teacher will be Mr. DADA and herbology will be Mrs. HB, and so on

"Wow, the castles awesome!!" Alex exclaimed, putting her books back in her bag. "This is going to be awesome! I can't wait!" Alex said, looking around, excited.

Candice emerges from the train, she looked around quickly for Joshua, she couldn't see him. Disapointed, but still hopeful, she moved over near the carriages. She could see them, the thestrals, ever since her father died. She held her hand out to one of the horse-like creature, it didn't respond, so she reached up and stroked it's head. The thestral bowed it's head alowing Candice to stroke larger areas. She'd just realised, if Joshua couldn't see the Thestrals, then she'd look like a freak, she stopped quickly, and turned, awaiting her love-intrest.

"Let's go in now!" said Alyssa decidedly. She looked around. "Where is Candice and Joshua? They should be at the castle by now!"

Britney just sighed and watched the land roll by. "I hope they make me a prefect this year then if you guys get in trouble I could so easily back you guys up". Britney said with a small and smug smirk. "And I can get you guys some really special rewards and stuff for you guys being you and stuff". Britney said after twirling her hair like crazy.

[Zenrais]

Zhilo was there before the carrages."Hi Britney.excited about school?" He soundeed a bit more excited then last time he spoke to her.

"Welllllll........I don't really know I'm kinda confused right now and stuff so......probably....yeah I am excited to go be at hogwarts". Britney said with a smile and a flip of her hair. "Well I guess ill see ya later Zhilo". Britney said with a small but happy wave to him.

[Zenrais]

Zhilo smiled as she walked away. He wasn't as sure she liked Joshua anymore.... But still...Something was weird about everything. He had barley thought about anything recently.

Britney slowly walked towards the castle thinking about that song by those famous muggles. "Wow this seems so old now that ive been here for six years.....who should i choose Joshua or Zhilo.......i cant their both awesome dudes but i aint givin up on Joshua so easy Candace up for a huge fight". Britney said to herself while swatting away her long hair out of her eyes.

[Zenrais]

Zhilo suddenly realised he didn't stand a chance...Britney wouldn't pick him after all. So he just played his mp3 and went to his dorm.

"Let's go! I don't want to miss the sorting!" Alex said, dragging Alyssa behind her, and ran into the castle. The headmaster and all of the teachers sitting in their usual spots, and a teacher had placed the Sorting hat on the stool. Alex sat down at the Griffindor table with Alyssa, waiting for the Sorting to begin.

"I can't wait to see all of those little first years be sorted!" said Alyssa excitedly. "I wonder how many will go to Gryffindor?" She looked around and strained her head to see whether Ms. TA (Transfiguration teacher: Headmistress) had left her post and had gone to greet the first years. She had. "Ms.TA gone to greet the first years!"

"I wonder... Maybe we'll get a good number. Maybe we could find a good Keeper." Alex said, stil waiting for the 1st years. SHe fiddled with her wand.

"Yeah, our keeper graduated last year!" replied Alyssa, enthusiastic to the idea. "The only other first year to make the team other than harry potter was our keeper...so I'm not sure, what are the odds?"

Candice breathed a deep sigh. She wasn't entirely sure that Joshua was comming, she hopped he was. But there was no way he'd be this late, I mean she'd even had time to go back to her own carriage and retrive her things. She'd wait another minute and then she'd leave. Head to the castle. "He probably just forgot." she said aloud with a sadness in her voice.

OoC: Kay. So Alex and me are at the castle, Zhilo and Britney soon to come. Candice is looking for you. You be at castle now?

 

"Oh look, there's Joshua!" Alyssa said to Alex. She waved for him to come to sit next to them.

Joshua saw her wave. He ran over and sat next to Candice. "Sorry, I think I fell asleep on the train." He smiled at her, his best friend. "So, what's going on? I didn't miss anything, right? I would really hate it if I missed something." He blinked. Since when did Candice get such beautiful eyes? he wondered. He stared into them, then blinked and turned away, blushing.
