"I need some help, my bag is hanging off the side of the roof I dropped it and I am afraid that I might fall off if I try to grab it by myself so could you please help me?" she asked thinking this will be easy this full doesnt know who he is messing with he says puppy-dog isnt my style he is right and gentleman isnt his style so I think I might like him. I wonder if he will fall for this little trick I have planned out because if he doesnt fall for it enough it wont be fun and if he falls for it too much it wont be fun, she laughed inside her head.

Carthag smiled to himself, *I may as well help her... a moving target is harder to find.* He picked up a bag next to him and smiled at Devin, "Sure, lead the way." *I'll just use my power and grab it. I hope Makido's not watching me. For an older brother he's very annoying.* As he thought about Mikado the look on his face became angry and full of hatred.

 

Gather noticed the look on Carthag's face, *He must be thinking of his brother again. They have the same power, but Makido is so much more adept. Carthag is only a member so that he can join up with someone. He actually is a very useful person, but he's not very good at doing anything except following orders so he isn't good at solo missions. I wonder...*

 

Tsukune and Moka smiled as Alyssa and Tiberius embraced. They looked to each other for a second and them looked away each of them blushing.

"Its this way I think, I am new here so I get confused sometimes with where everything is, yeah this is it!" Devin said leading him into her trap and his downfall. She walked up the stairs leading to the roof with Carthag following behind her when she finally reached the top, she went out the door and pointed in a random direction "Over there!" she said fooling him beyond belief and she was pretty sure Gather was not far behind so she made sure the door was left open so he could get out without being noticed.

Tiberius broke away from the hug and looked at Tsukune and Moka look away from each other blushing. Tiberius smiled and noticed that they were acting the same way that Alyssa and he did when they became friends. Tiberius decided to initiate the spark between the two star-crossed lovers. "If you two were any more red, the blood would spout out from under your skin." Tiberius said jokingly. "Guys, talk about your feelings. We did and became a couple because of it. Admit it to one another. I see it in your eyes."

Carthag started walking over toward the banister and started to get a bad feeling, but he ignored it and kept walking, *She's just some cute girl... why am I getting a bad feeling about this unless... unless she's the one who's supposed to get the medallion, but... nah that can't be it or she would have asked for it earlier.*

 

Gether smirked at how easily Devin was tricking Carthag, *He's got to be getting a bad feeling about this... actually he's probably ignoring it. He's not thinking of Devin as a threat or potential enemy.* He walked up behind Devin and whispered in her ear, "You have fifteen minutes left, if you want me to tell you his power tap your right middle finger on your left elbow once, as if you were crossing your arms."

 

Surprisingly, both Tsukune and Moka became an even brighter shade of red. Tsukune started to turn toward Moka as she did the same and when their eyes met they immediately looked away. Moka decided that this wasn't the time for this and turned and slowly started to walk out of the room giving Tsukune a chance to stop her, but he was so afraid that he did flinch a bit toward her, but caught himself and stayed still. Moka continued and walked right out of the infirmary and walked toward her room.

"Yeah I dont have a bookbag," said Devin her attitude completely changing "I will make a deal with you, you join me and you wont die!" she said glaring daggers at him. She was glad she could finally lift that stupid cloak of deception because she really hated that weak and defenseless act, it really pissed her off when she had to do it for some reason, but it didnt matter when anyone else did it maybe because it made Devin herself look weak when she did it.

[-Genesis-]

Carthag turned to Devin, "Huh? What are you talking about?" He was utterly confused now and completely on guard, "What the hell is going on here?" He looked directly at Devin trying to understand what was going on.

 

Gether became visible, "You know Devin, you only have about 13 minutes left, and you still have to beat him, get the medallion and get to the roof of Building 3 to see Kayu." He turned and waved at Carthag, "Hey Carth, listen, she's gotta beat you unconscious now, sooo just roll over and take it."

 

Moka walked all the way to her room and closed the door, "What do I do? I can't tell Tsukune that.... Onee-sama please tell me what to do!" *I don't know... I also feel for Tsukune, but I have even less experience then you in these matters.*

"Uh oh," Tiberius said with a look of confusion on his face. "Well that didn't turn out the way I had planned it to Turn out. If anything dude I'm sorry if I messed everything up with her. Just trying to help." Tiberius looks at Tsukune with a Apologetic look on his face. Alyssa looks back and forth between Tiberius and Tsukune and then looks at the floor. *This is awkward.* Ayssa thinks to herself.

Tiberius then smiles and says, "I'll go and talk with her. You two go to Alyssa room." And with out a moments notice, he Bolted for the door and ran to Moka's room. He knocked on the door and waited for Moka to answer.

 

Alyssa smiled at Tsukune and said," That's my boyfriend, always trying to help others."

"I think you get the picture and you were right puppy-dog eyes dont suit me, so I am going to give one choice right now you can either join me and hand over that medallion or I can simply burn you to ashes, since my power involves fire!" she threatened him with killing intent "So what are you going to choose, join me and you wont die or burn to death?" she asked once more "Either way I am getting that medallion!" as she got into a fighting stance ready if he was to say no.

[-Genesis-]

Carthag smiled, "Fine, I'll join you... but I'm not going to just hand over the medallion, that's against the rules. And whatever you're gonna do to me is nothing compared to what He will do to me for disobeying his orders." He stepped back and into a fighting stance, *This sucks, I'm an earth-type monster, I can't tunnel here!*

 

Gether looked at Devin and tapped his watch, "You've got 10 minutes left to get that medallion and get over to that roof." He pointed to the roof on his left, about 20ft away.

 

Tsukune smiled at Alyssa, "It's not his fault or anything... I-I just don't know how to say how I feel. It's just, she's been my friend for so long, I've liked her since I first met her, but even then I never really made a move."

 

Moka was startled at the sound of a knock at her door, *Who could that be? Is it Tsukune? Oh no! What should I say? What do I do?* She was panicking and she hadn't even stepped near the door yet.

"Actually what ever you think he will do to you is nothing compared to what I can do to you!" she sneered "Besides he might want to be careful because a werewolf stronger then even the strongest werewolves is here and he wont let anything happen to you and he is watching this right now!" she explained as she created black-flames which covered the whole rooftop, flames which she couldnt control. "Are you sure you dont want to hand it over?" she asked as the flames spread.

"Oi, Moka," Tiberius yelled through the otherside of the door. "It's me Tiberius. Can I come in for a minute? I need to talk to you about Tsukune. Please? You won't regret it." Tiberius stood patiently at the door waiting for Moka to open it.

Alyssa on the other hand was trying to make progress with Tsukune. "Tsukune," Alyssa began with a bit of flourish. "You need to tell her how you feel. I can tell that you love her more than life itself. But, it is causing you pain not to be with her. You need to open yourself up. It helped with me and Tiberius. It can work for you too."

[-Genesis-]

Carthag burst out laughing, "You really think that whoever you brought along can beat him without help? He would destroy you in an instant, you wouldn't stand a chance versus him! I can't give it to you, but you don't have to kill me either." He prepared for Devin to make an attack.

 

Gether smirked to himself, *Carthag is talking about Midou, and Devin thinks that she and someone she has watching could him on... Midou hasn't been beaten except by the founders. There's no way that Devin can beat him. She's trying to psych Carthag out, and it's working. At this rate there's gonna be a problem... And I can't let that happen.* Gether reached into his jacket and grabbed a slip of paper with a spell circle. "I am officially ending your test Devin." He cast down the spell and in a flash of light Kayu was standing among them.

 

Kayu looked around and turned to Gether, "What the hell are you doing!" Gether stepped back a bit before answering, "She was gonna kill him and we don't want that. So just pass her, he wants to examine her and these games aren't gonna help." He was afraid that Kayu would kill him for insubordination, but she actually calmed. "You're right, but if you ever go around my orders again you'll deal with him. All of you kneel!" She placed her left hand on her forehead and kneeled. Gether and Carthag followed her lead and in another flash of light someone appeared standing with his hands in his pockets. Kayu looked up at him, "Master Midou, welcome. The girl is ready for your examination..."

 

Moka stood up from her desk chair and started walking to the door. She placed her hand on the doorknob and paused, *I-I don't want to talk to anyone but you right now Onee-sama... I'm sorry Tiberius.* She opened the door and in a flurry rushed out right past Tiberius, down the hall around the corner and out of sight.

 

Tsukune smiled at Alyssa, "It's not really that easy... You see there are other things that factor into it: first she's a vampire and I'm a human injected with vampire blood who, if not for this Holy Lock, would rampage around killing anyone in sight, and second her father is one of the Three Great Lords who despises humans and could kill me in a single blow." He turned and sat down in a chair.

"So your in charge of these fools, and by your power you seem worthy of my respect but dont expect me to bow down before you because I dont do bowing. My honor and pride forbid bowing down or graveling but that doesnt mean I dont respect you because I do, okay Bossman?" Devin said not really seeming to give him respect but seeming to give him much more respect then she gave Kayu, she respected the one who stood infront of her very much but not really anyone else on the rooftop they were on.

[-Genesis-]

Midou nodded acknowledging that he'd heard Devin. Then he turned to Kayu, "You are dismissed." She simply, nodded, jumped off the roof anf walked into the roof. He then turned to look at Carthag, "You have swore to follow both the 'Outcast Ayashi' and this girl, for our purposes you aren't as useful so you are dejected and will do as you wish." Midou then turned back to Devin, "I have only a few things to say to you, the first is that I do not ask for the kneeling, the just do it as a sign of utmost respect and as a request for mercy. The second is that I will not tolerate disrespect toward myself from you under any circumstances except the most dire. The third is that for your placement I will now test you... Attack me with everything that you have, but know this, I will not transform, I will not kill you, I will however strike back. I will not strike you often, but when I do, it will hurt. Now come at me, and attack to kill." He stepped back and waited, with his hands still in his pockets.

 

Gether stepped back out of the way, dragging Carthag with him, *Midou's gonna test her himself? That means that he's been watching her for a while and likes what she has to offer, but the downside is that he could seriously hurt her with his kind of power. Even not transformed he'd deadly, his right arm is the most deadly part of him, but overall Devin will be damn lucky to not need medical attention after this.*

 

As Tsukune tried to explain the problem to Alyssa, Moka kept running and ended up starting to go up the floors of the building. On the third floor she stopped to catch her breath, *I'm sorry I ran Tiberius, I'll make it up to you later.*

Tiberius looked confused at Moka as she ran past. *Looked like she was heading for the infirmary* Tiberius thought to himself as he watched her run past him. *I won't hold it against her. She has a lot to think about right now. In any case, I'll just wait in my room for Alyssa.* With that, He turned and went towards his room. On the way, he stopped and picked up a soda from one of the free-vending machines and then kept on towards his room.

Alyssa was listening to Tsukune very carefully. At the mention of The three great lords, Alyssa asked," Who are the Three great lords?"

"I would prefer not to fight at the moment, can we get something to eat first because I am getting hungry and the food they have here is not very filling compared to what I am use to." complained Devin in a way the wasnt really complain but stating a fact "The porportions they give you here are so small its not even funny..." she explained "So can this fight wait a little while?" she asked.

Midou closed his eyes and pinched the bridge of his nose in irritation, "Fine, since I want you give me your very best." He turned to Gether, gave him a dark look and tossed him a small sack of coins, "Stay with her, use that to pay for as much food as she needs, and when she's done bring her back here. For now I have other things to attend to." He put his hands back in his pockets, spun on his heels and disappeared in a flash.

 

Gether sighed and looked at Devin, "Alright let's go, you can do whatever you needed to do, and then we'll come back here." He shook his head, "You're both a very lucky and a very unlucky girl Devin. The fact that Midou wants to test you personally means that he thinks you have potential, but he's a powerful fighter, some say that he's gone against a vampire and survived." Gether's voice took on a new tone, a warning tone, "Now Devin, please for once, listen to me. When you fight him later, avoid his right arm at all costs!"

 

Carthag simply stood there waiting to see what would happen next. *Whatever as long as Midou doesn't kill her, then I don't lose another ally.*

 

Tsukune blanched, "What? You don't know who the Three Great Lords are? They're the three most powerful beings of this world. They created the Great Barrier which shields this world from the human one. One of them is Moka's father." He was truly surprised that Alyssa didn't know about the Three Great Lords.

 

On the other hand Moka had stopped running, hidden in the girls bathroom, so that on the off chance that Tiberius was following her he couldn't get to her. She was crying and whispered to herself, "Onee-sama, what do I do?"

"Okay time for an all I can eat buffet, so where is a decent place to eat around here?" Devin asked Gether who had the money and thinking that Midou was thinking he would be getting change but he doesnt know how Devin eats or how much she can eat before getting full, she laughed at this an inside joke nobody around her at the moment was in on.

Fang watching the interaction from afar also laughed at Midou's stupidity because of the same inside joke as Devin the fact the he was dumb enough to let Devin eat whatever she wanted, he would be broke soon enough and then he would know if he treats her to this too often.

[-Genesis-]

Gether shrugged, "Well the only place is the cafeteria, but no worries. Midou gave us this entire thing of coins to use for you to eat." He shook the little leather pouch, "But don't expect this all the time, we only get paid when we complete a mission, or if we're on a mission. Otherwise we're either on our own or we're at a base were we can eat whenever." He walked over to the door to the stairs and opened it, "Well, do you want to eat?"

 

Carthag waited, he decided that staying quiet would probably be the best course of action for him. *Okay, so far it seems Midou wants Devin, but he wants to make sure that the watcher's information is correct... This is getting very intetesting.*

 

 

Off in the distance, in a flash Midou appeared standing behind Fang, "Did our meeting interest you?... Who are you? And why were you watching us?" Midou's tone was serious, but he was simply standing there with his hands in his pockets.

 

 

Moka was leaning against a wall thinking about Tsukune and talking to her other self, "Onee-sama, what do I do? I can't just tell him, and father wouldn't approve." *Don't worry about father, he wouldn't approve, but he would accept it. And why can't you tell him? Have him take off the Rosary and I'll tell him myself.*

Tiberius continues to walk towards his room. He passes by Alyssa's room and looks at the door. he stops and knocked on the door lightly. Getting no answer, Tiberius walks into his room and shuts the door. Tiberius begins to meditate and change his core. It had become a habit with him to make himself stronger. Luckily, he had his medicine there in case something were to happen to him. Tiberius awakens from his trance 15 minutes later and immediately takes a pill. "Can't get enough of that cherry flavor," Tiberius says with a grin. "I wonder if Alyssa is still with Tsukune in the Infirmary. I'll go check." After a sip of his powerade, Tiberius stood up, put his medicine in his pocket, and walked out the door towards the infirmary.

Alyssa was listening to Tsukune's story about the three lords. "Oh so that's who you meant,"Alyssa says."My dad's friend works for them. My dad calls them the Three Kings. I had gotten confused is all."

"Okay then let's go but I hope you have your own money because from the look of it that bag of coins there wont be nearly enough to fill me up," she laughed as she walked down the stairs thinking about what she should do next, "You coming or what?!" she shouted.

"I was simply doing my job, and if you must know I am the new teacher here," said Fang as he took a couple steps back so he had some room to get ready and time to react should this turn into a fight "I am only watching over her, doing my assignment, and I am sure she already told you and your goons that we have eyes on you. I recommend that you dont do anything foolish or I will have to..." he gets real serious opposed to his casual tone "...KILL YOU...but so you know the three lords fear us..."

[-Genesis-]

Carthag ran off following Devin while Gether shook his head and followed behind them, *She's so calm and relaxed now... Why? Does she take refuge in the fact that someone as high up as Midou thinks she has potential?* He smirked to himself, *Well the sooner she eats, the sooner this ends.* he followed them at a regular pace.

 

Midou laughed at Fang, "Well, teacher, I really don't care. The Lords only fear your combination of numbers and power. If the three of them were together, then they'd have nothing to fear, but since the three have not all been in one place together in over 100 years... They have a reason to worry." He spun on his heels and looked back over his shoulder at Fang, "By the way, don't threaten to kill me if you cannot succeed on your own." With that Midou disappeared.

 

Moka shook her head, "No, Onee-sama! You can't!" *Is that so... Have him remove the Rosary and we'll see what I can't do.* Tsukune smiled hal-heartedly at Alyssa and stood, "Well I've got some stuff to prepare for classes tomorrow... So see you later."
