"Two things I give my respect to those who prove they deserve it, and so far you have not given me a single reason to give you my respect. The other thing if she were to kill me you face the wrath of the elite of the elite if you took me out in unfair numbers your entire group would be taken out unless you were to take me down one-on-one!" smirked Devin because she knew that Fang one of her family's friends would do as she says would happen if they took her out on uneven odds "I am just saying I will give respect to those who deserve it and I understand that if I fail I will be punished but so far I have not done that nor have I objected to that I have simply objected to you having power over me or being my superior at the moment so are you willing to change that?" Devin asked one last time prepared to turn back if she didnt give her the answer Devin was looking for.

Kayu sighed, "First if I were to kill you there would be no trace, not even a scent. I'm a cleaner in the organization the only ones above me are the higher-ups. All I'm asking is that if we accepted you into the organization would you control yourself when in the presence of a superior. It's a simple yes or no question, so, yes or no?" Kayu was finding this girl to be quite annoying and would pass her off to Saizou or Midou at the first chance she got.

 

Moka looked on as Tiberius was afflicted with and unknown pain, the same question going through her head over and over, *What can I do?*

"You underestimate things for right now we are being watched if you hadnt noticed so even if you were to clean up the scene as you say you would still be hunted down by one of the world's greatest trackers, but that is not the point right now and you seem to not want to answer me and prefer to waste my time, so you know I have other ways to get what I want it is just fastest and easiest if I go through you people!" retorted Devin "Since you only wish to waste my time, I am out of here!" said Devin as she turned and started to walk away.

Kayu started laughing, "I'm offering you the ability to join our organization as you wanted. All you have to do is answer a simple yes or no question first and you're not willing to do that." Kayu stopped laughing and smirked, "Maybe you just don't want it enough." She looked at the back of Devin's head and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen, "If you really do want it then all you have to do is say yes or no and come over here and sign this." She gestured to the paper, "It's an agreement that states that if you die during an assignment, or due to some viable reason such as betraying us, that no friends or family can come after us for revenge. If they do they will have the entire monster community, including the Three Lords after them. And no doubt that your family knows better than to cross the Three Lords." Kayu sat down on the bench and waited for Devin to respond.

 

Gether was utterly confused, Kayu was offering Devin a place in the organization, but first Devin would have to answer a simple yes or no question honestly and Devin was refusing. *I don't get it? I know why Kayu is asking that question, because if Devin shows disrespect to whoever her superior is the she'll be punished or killed, and Kayu just wants to know if Devin will be a difficult case or not.*

"To tell the truth I know somebody even the three lords of yours fear!" laughed Devin thinking about the power the ones she speak of have. "One more thing my family is dead so I dont think that to be a problem and I have no friends though there are people who were friends of my family they would be the only problem for you and they are watching this as we speak besides your world fears them, so even if I do sign that Moka's father wouldnt do a thing!" she laughed some more "Yes, I know of Moka's father one of your three lords. The thing is so you know if I die on assignment nobody will come after you but if you stab me in the back then you shall face their fury!" Devin warned "But yes I can be respectful to those who deserve it and no I will not sign that paper because I wish not for you to know my secrets and I dont like to leave a paper trail which is why all records outside of this academy about me are being destroyed. So am I in or not, if not then dont bother coming after me or may hell rain down upon you..." she continued to walk away because she was tired of wasting her time.

Kayu smiled, "You discard peacefulness and reason. That is good, and you speak so rashly that could get you into trouble with the higher-ups, but that won't be my problem. But I wonder do you have the killing intent to join us?" Kayu stood up, "What would you say if I were to give you an experimental assignment, just to see if you have the kind of power you boast?"

 

Gether realized what had happened, *Kayu wasn't serious about the paper, it was simply words so that she could learn what she needed about Devin. And now she's deciding on a way for Devin to simply show off her abilities.* He looked at Devin smiling darkly, "Kayu has essentially accepted you. Now she needs to see what you can do so she knows where in the organization to place you. Do you accept the offer to join the organization and the primary assignment that comes with it?"

"Sure why not but dont expect me to use my powers since I have yet to learn how to control them but my martial arts skill should be enough for now, so what is this primary assignment you speak of?" Devin asked wondering how soon it would be because she didnt want it to get in the way of her plans "If you want to know if I have killing instinct then I do since I almost killed this idiot when he came out of nowhere but I went against instinct so I could meet his superiors which I guess include you," Devin said "I know things you would fear, I know you think I lie about somebody with power to destroy your three lords but there is a power that came before them that shall be here after them and then there is that prophecy about a chosen one, a leader to the shadows that protect this world being born with power feared by all. The Shadows I speak of is an underground society which is very powerful and very spread out and I happen to be a part of that society..." she smirked.

Kayu shook her head, "I really don't care about your stories, prophesy or any of that because it is the higher-up's jobs to deal with that kind of thing. As for killing Gether, trust me it's not as easy as you think it would be. Now, the assignment, I want you to find a medallion and bring it to me, it is a gold medallion that looks as if it has a spell circle on it. One of the student's is wearing it around their neck, you are to defeat him and take it. If you tke it without defeating him you will regret it, and why has nothing to do with me. You have one hour, at the end of that time I will be on the roof of building three waiting for you, Gether knows who the student is and what he can do. If after 45 minutes of the hour you still don't know who the student is he will tell you. Your hour starts now." Kayu turned and walked away in between the trees and into the woods. Gether smiled smugly at Devin, "Good luck, I'll be watching." With that he went back inside and disappeared.

 

Tsukune was alone standing on the roof, he leaned against the railing thinking of the past and what he would change if he could, *I should have killed Kiria when I had that perfect chance. He'd weakened himself with those special attacks that almost killed Moka and the others. If only the Board Chairman had been there, then Kiria would be dead and the 'Outcast Ayashi' would have fallen to HIM and we'd be one major step closer to finishing off the organization for good.*

"Gether I will need you to show me where building three is because I have no clue when navigating this place. And a gold necklace? Wow they arent very smart...so can you at least tell me the idiot's powers?" Devin said as she jumped off the side of the building landing on her feet "I guess that would be a no, so I will have to tap into my own private resources which I wish for you to not know of...for security reasons because I dont want everyone knowing anything so I prefer not to trust anyone outside of the society of Shadows. Can you give me something owned by the one who has it or at least what the item we seek looks like exactly?" she asked.

[-Genesis-]

Gether smirked to himself, *My power of absolute invisibility is quite useful. Like right now, I'm standing right behind Devin and she'll never know it. The only way someone can see me is with a power detector, and the only people with that are vampires, ghouls, and supreme hybrids like the higher-ups. But either way I have to give here a picture of the medallion, so....* He quickly slipped a picture of the medallion and a piece of paper into Devin's pocket and backed off.

Midou was sitting on the roof and snapped his fingers, activating the summoning seal in his palm. Kayu appeared standing behind him, "So what is your opinion of the girl?" Kayu blanched, "What? You know about that? How? It just happened a few minutes a ago!" Midou smiled, "You forget that every 'Outcast Ayashi' in this area and others answers to me. Including that new girl, when she finishes her task I want you to bring her to me for examination." Kayu took a step back, "Please don't... with your power, you'll kill her!" Midou glared at Kayu, "I watched your little argument before and it's obvious to both me and her that you cannot control that girl. I on the other hand will gain her respect one way or another and if it turns out that she is just belligerent then she will have to be removed." He stood up and turned his back to her, "That is all, if you have anything else to say, do it now..." He waited, but no response came, so he took another step and disappeared. Kayu was in a lot of trouble, Midou had decided that she was unfit for recruiting and that he himself would examine Devin, *I hope that girl meets Midou's expectations or she is as good as dead... and her performance will decide my fate.*

 

Moka wasn't sure what she should do so she turned to look at Alyssa, *She's together with Tiberius so I'll ask her what she wants me to do.* "Should I go get help? Or do you want me to stay here?"

"Gether I know your there so even if your invisible it doesnt matter with my training, I know I cant tell exactly where you are, but I have a few ideas, so you might want to be careful, and to tell the truth a couple of my retainers might be coming here soon." said Devin as she walked in the building that was in front of her then pulled out the piece of paper "So this is building four? Okay well I am not impressed by this place one bit..." she said "So I wonder where this person is?" she was walking around with no clear destination or direction just wondering and checking everyone for the medallion without them noticing meanwhile hearing Gether's footsteps behind her.

"I...need...the...Infirmary," Tiberius said with grunting in pain. Tiberius tries to stand, but falls down near the door. *So this is it? My crap filled life ends here? No, No I won't let that happen.* Tiberius thinks as he stands up again. *Alyssa has yet to let me down. So I won't let her down. I'm going to fight this thing.* Tiberius takes a couple more steps before another tremor is felt inside his body. He falls again and pulls his body against the wall. *I've got to fight it, Alyssa sake.* Tiberius turn to Alyssa and Moka. "Help me get to..." Tiberius stops to cough blood into his hand." The infimary."

Bio: Hikari grew up like most children with a sweet and kind family, though upon changing schools he made friends with a low level Yakuza group. To help the group he made bad illusions of guns and knifes to help in missions. Upon trying to make a monster illusion to the police to scare them off after a recent fight he failed. Hikari was quickly thrown into jail yet his parents bailed him out but decided staying in Japan was a bad idea for him Originally they planned to send him to boarding school though when he threatened his father with an illusion of a gun he was sent to the academy

Moka nodded and without waiting a moment longer turned to Ku, "Can you have Ko tell Tsukune that Tiberius needs help immediately, and I can't carry him." Ku nodded and told Ko. When Ko told Tsukune what was wrong he started running, *I gotta help them!* He burst into Alyssa's room and grabbed Tiberius up in his arms. Tsukune looked to Moka and Alyssa for a second and she said one word, "Infirmary." Tsukune nodded and was gone before Alyssa could say a word. As he ran he worried about what was happening to Tiberius. He burst into the infirmary and called for help.

 

Gether sighed as Devin started looking around Building 4. He walked up behind her and became visible, "Devin the guy is in Building 3, this is Building 4!" He stood there shaking his head, *I told her that he was in Building 3 in the note, is she so belligerent that she just doesn't accept help from anyone?*

"Gether why did you say to look in here if he wasnt in here? You did say to start looking in here and here is the note read it for yourself." she said handing him the note which did say to start looking in building 4 "If you are going to help then help dont get in my way!" she snapped at him then she went to the roof of building four and jumped to the nearest building and wnet inside to look hoping that Gether didnt make another mistake and tell her the wrong place again he would be toast if he did that she would just walk away and forget them since he was so much less then helpful that they couldnt help her and would instead hinder her if they made screw up mistakes like this all the time.

Gether followed Devin and smiled, "First I was seeing if you were paying attention, and second the guy just moved to Building 3." He became absolutely invisible again and continued to follow her.

 

Carthag was annoyed as he walked by the office with his hands in his pockets. He'd pissed off Kayu earlier and now he was being used as a dummy for a test. *How much worse can this get?* He pulled the medallion that was the target out from under his shirt and tried to figure out the symbols on it. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't informed that Devin was required to defeat him before taking the medallion.

 

Tsukune burst into the infirmary with Tiberius in his arms, "Help!" A doctor walked up to him and he continued, " I don't know what's wrong with him, all I know is that he's in a serious amount of pain."

Tiberius gets laid on the table and the doctor takes a look at his body. The doctor then remembers another case like this. It had happened 10 years ago. The doctor then rushes into to his office and grabs a medicine bottle with red tablets inside of it. Meanwhile, Tiberius is holding his heart and clutching it in agony. The doctor runs in and adminsters the medicine to Tiberius. Tiberius shudders and the pain goes away. The tremors in his body slowly dissapate. The doctor turns to the trio that accompanied him to the hospital. "Tiberius will be fine," The doctor says. "This was cause not by the meditation and changing of his powers. Rather, It was caused by him using his powers in general. Tiberius, before you came to the academy, did you use the powers?" "No," Tiberius said. "Not unless I had too. Why?" "What is causing your body these tremors of yours is your use of your powers on a daily bases. Your powers are evolving with your training. Though it can be a very painful experience indeed for you. That is why I'm going to perscribe these red pills." At this the doctor hold up the red pills.

 

"Take One of these after you use your powers," The doctor says while giving Tiberius the pills. 'Even after meditating better to be safe than sorry."

 

"Thanks doc," Tiberius says. "Hey It's even Cherry Flavored."

"So let me guess you joined this group or whatever because you enjoy to fight or you were afraid if you didnt join you would be their enemy?" she asked Gether "So you know I am not joining for either of those reasons, I am joining because this is the quickest way to my answer. If you can keep a secret from your superiors no matter what, I know something they wouldnt want me to know nor have access to." she explained as she walked around looking for the guy with the gold medallion.

Tsukune sighed and relaxed, "At least he's okay now." He looked over at Moka and smiled, "We made it, just in time." She smiled back, walked over to him, and leaned against him, *Tsukune, you're so kind...*

 

Gether became visible again and laughed, "Actually I joined because I am an 'Outcast Ayashi'. 'Outcast Ayashi' are hybrid monsters and such, the organization is called that simply because most of it's members are 'Outcast Ayashi' like me." He smiled at Devin, "So why do you want to join us?"

"Didnt I already tell you, I joined in order to find the answer I seek, and if that answer tells me to stay with you people then I will at least untill I find an answer that tells me otherwise." she began to explain "Sometime soon my retainers will arrive here soon, my servants so to speak and they will work for me yet have no connection with this group got that?!" she then out of the corner of her eye, barely spotted the gold medallion that she was looking for "Hey! Gether what powers does that guy there have?!" she asked pointing at him.

Gether frowned, "What am I? ... a sensor? My part in your test technically doesn't happen for another..." He checked his watch, "... ten minutes." He smiled at Devin, "Sorry, but until then, you're on your own with this part." He looked at the target and smiled, before going back to being invisible.

 

Carthag sat down against the wall and swore, "This assignment sucks, I'm bored out of my frickin' mind." He pulled the medallion out of his shirt again and then put it back. *Am I going to be bores to death? Is that my punishment?*

Devin walked up to the guy "Excuse me, but can you give me directions?" she said giving her puppy-dog eyes. "I really need to get somewhere and I dont know who to ask, so could you please help me?" she begged putting on the puppy-dog act which she loved to use to get what she wanted, but she hated to use it because it really cramped her style and went against her normal tomboy personality. She was also wondering when the hell those two would show up.

She is probably the cutest thing you ever saw, but her personality doesnt match her looks one bit she is a delinquent that you dont want to run into. She will hold no mercy for her enemies. Despite her looks you better watch out or you just might become her prey, and believe me you do not want to become her prey. Since her powers make her a fighting genius it is not very wise to mess with her. She is an orphan who lost her parents before she had a chance to be able to remember them. She is also part of the society of Shadows. She also is a faithful servant of Devin.

He is one weird person that almost always looks out of place with that scar over his face and his white hair but other then the scar he is cute in the eyes of girls his age. He can sort of sense danger that is coming sort of like a spidey sense. He is quite to the point you might wonder if he is mute or something, he can talk but he usually just doesnt. Will that change in the academy?

Tiberius stood up and looked over towards Tsukune and Moka. "Thanks guys for bringing me here on time," Tiberius says looking over towards the two. "I don't know what would of happened had I not got here on time. Oh well let's go back to Alyssa's room. Don't worry, I've got the pills that the doc gave me right here." Tiberius holds up the bottle. "The medicine makes me feel more better because it is cherry favored. Everybody knows medicine is better when it's cherry flavored.

Carthag looked up from the medallion to see a pretty good looking girl giving him an attempt at a puppy-dog look, *What the heck? Why is someone bothering me now of all times?* He stood up so that he was eye-to-eye with the girl, "You know, that puppy-dog look doesn't suit you. How can I help you?" He took a short bow, attempting to seem like the gentleman he wasn't.

 

Gether was invisible leaning against the opposite wall and watching as Devin attempted to 'sweet' Carthag, *That won't work... That's not Carthag's style.* But when he saw Carthag stand he edited himself, *Maybe it will, or not, he's just trying to impress the higher-ups by showing that he can blend in, he got in trouble for not being able to blend in and alerting the target.* He smirked to himself, *This is gonna be good.*

 

Tsukune smiled and nodded at Tiberius, but when he turned around he noticed that Alyssa was gone, "Where'd Alyssa go?" Moka also turned only to see nothing, "She was here a minute ago. And where'd Ko go!" Ku shook herself a bit before speaking, "Ko is following Alyssa right now, shall I call him back?" Tsukune shook his head, "No, but..." He looked at Tiberius, "He may want to know where she is..."

Alyssa comes out of the bathroom and comes into the Infirmary. "Did someone call for me?" Alyssa said as she ran up to Tiberius. She hugged him and said, "Don't ever scare me like that again. I thought I would have lost you."

Tiberius smiles at her and says," If it's up to me, I will never leave you. Especially with these that the doctor gave me. They should help me out a lot. They are even cherry flavored. This is great."

Alyssa chuckles at Tiberius' Childish reaction to his medicine. "Well at least it is not medicine flavored. Let's go back to my room."
