"Oh nothing is wrong with him," Tiberius says simply. "He's just fell asleep after a unsuccessful attempt at meditation. He told me to wake him up when Alyssa got out of class. anyway we have a thirty minute break after this. Then we have a fighting class. Each class has a thirty minute interval it seems. I actually like this feature however." Tiberius then closes his eye and goes back to searching his power core. He studies it for awhile and then proceeds to open both eyes.

Alyssa nodded in agreement. "Tiberius is right. I'm Alyssa and I can fly, this is Kaizen and he teleports." she smiled at the new boy. "Better hurry on in and take that quiz, or the teacher won't be happy!" she said. She checked her schedule; she had power control afterwards. "Gah...so many classes..." she said half to herself.

Tsukune smiled at Alyssa, "I already finished the test." He looked down at his schedule and noticed that his next class was also Fighting. He wondered f the class was going to be anything like what the Chairman had put him through over the last few weeks.

 

Tsukune looked back to Tiberius, "Are we actually going to fight in Fighting class? I'm just curious because I have that next too." He stood up and scratched behind his right ear. His sleeve fell a bit on his arm revealing a sliver chain on his arm with a lock on it.

"What's that?" Alyssa asked, pointing to the chain. "And yes, we will be fighting. But fake sparring, kind of...but you can injure people, just not kill..." she said. She looked at the chain again; it was silver. "Why do you have a lock on your arm?" she asked, trying to be polite and gentle. She didn't want to be offensive just in case it was culture, or something. But she had never heard of a culture that had a lock on their arm.

As Alyssa asked him what the chain and lock were for he blanched, *Oh damn! I'm not supposed to let anyone see it! The Board Chairman told me to keep it a secret unless I was sure that the person was trustworthy. I just met these people, how am I supposed to say tell them that it's a Holy Lock, a sealing artifact that if it comes off I become a bloodthirsty mindless killing machine!* It was obvious as he covered the chain up that he was trying to hide it and that whatever had mead him avoid them at first had to do with it. "Uh, well... it's... it's nothing to worry about just a chain... you see..." Tsukune wasn't able to come up with a good excuse so he had ended up stammering.

'Alright then..." Alyssa said, not wanting to make him nervous. "Anyways welcome to the academy..." she checked her watch and looked at Tiberius who was deep in meditation. "Well, we have fighting class in fifteen minutes...Tiberius hates to be late, think I should wake him?" she smiled at the meditating form of Tiberius. "We're going out by the way," she told Tsukune.

Tiberius obviously knew something was a miss when Tsukune froze for a second. He opened his eyes at Tsukune and watched him stammering. In a effort to calm him, Tiberius says, "It okay to tell us. We won't tell anyone. It's some sort of power that makes you go crazy, isn't? I can tell judging by the stammering and the nervous look on you face. We have secrets too." Tiberius stood up and held out his hand. "You can trust us, friend."

Alyssa nodded emphasizingly. She waited for Tsukune to answer, and in the meantime hovered a few minutes in a meditational position while in wait, she was very curious. She stared at the visible lock and chain on his wrist and memorized the look just in case he lost it. She smiled, she was always trying to help people.

Tsukune exhaled, he was surprised that Alyssa hadn't pressed about the Holy Lock, but now he felt bad. She seemed like a trustworthy person, he just wasn't totally sure. He was afraid that if she knew the truth she'd either fear him, or hate him. He decided to try it and hoped for the best. Tsukune shook his head and spoke up, his tone serious now, "Alyssa, do you really want to know what the chain is for? Please be honest." He was listening closely her answer would either tell him that she was worth trusting or that she wasn't. *I really hope that this doesn't backfire on me.*

When Kaizen woke up, he found he was lying down on the floor, instead of the meditatig stance. "Oh man, sleeping like that feels much more relaxing." yawned Kaizen. As kaizen pushed himself up, he saw a new person. "Hey, new here? i am too, well, i came late. My name's Kaizen." He saw a chain on his arm. "woah, so you're into hardcore accesories?" Aren't they just plain annoying to carry around?" he the notced Alyssa came out. "Alright, so we're good to go? What class do you guys have now?"

"I want to know," she said to Tsukune decisively. She laughed a little at Kaizen. She turned to Tsukune waiting for a response and smiled at him, to relax him a bit. She floated a bit higher and touched the ceiling and came back down. She looked at Tsukune expectedly while helping Kaizen back up.

Tsukune relaxed as she calmly told him that she really wanted to know, but the problem was that he wasn't sure about whether or not he could trust the other two with his secret. "Alyssa could I tell you... privately?" He glanced at Kaizen quickly, he wasn't worried about Tiberius, he was in a meditation trance. Tsukune walked a bit down the hall out of earshot of Kaizen and motioned for Alyssa to follow. *I have to make her understand that this has to stay between us. I don't care if the others et down and beg, it's not her secret to share. And I need t make sure she understands that.*

Kaizen was annoyed that this new guy didn't seem to trust him. He motioned for Alyssa to go."Tell us later," Kaizen winked. "Jokes" But suddenly he had a thought in his mind. "Woah, a private conversation with Alyssa... Maybe they two are together? or he's flirting with her...hey Tiberius check it out! Stop meditating for a moment.!" exclaimed Kaizen. He had no reaction, probably too busy meditating. 'How annoying' Kaizen thought. He sat down against the wall and started looking out the window. It was a clear blue sky with only the sun. 'Funny,' he thought 'no clouds.'

"Alright," Alyssa stood confused as she followed Tsukune. "Why can't the others here?" she asked Tsukune once they were out of earshot. She looked at him and then back at the others; Tiberius still doing meditation, Kaizen sitting there with a confused look on his face. She was utterly befuddled. "Are you some dangerous wraith ready to take revenge on me?" she half joked but stopped once she saw the serious look on Tsukune's face.

"Oi Tsukune," Tiberius said towards Tsukune. "Don't worry about it. You can come to my room to talk about it later. Right now I think we should go to fighting class." Tiberius then gets up and brushes himself off, and takes Alyssa by the hand. He kisses her cheek and points in the direction of the class.

Tsukune lurched forward and grabbed Alyssa's arm. He pulled her into an empty classroom and locked the door behind him, "I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that if I don't tell you now, I might end up not telling you at all." Tsukune shook his head, "And no, I'm not some dangerous wraith but the last person I told the truth to would have prefered it if I was." He wasn't joking in the slightest, the last person he'd told had flipped out, completely afraid he'd run away and tried to have Tsukune killed. Tsukune shook his head trying to get the dark emeories out of his head, "I don't want you to tell them for two reasons, first they may not take it as well as I think you will, and second it's not your secret to tell. I'm trusting you. The truth is that the chain is actually a sealing artifact called a Holy Lock. It was given to me by my current guardian, it keeps my power in chack." He lifted his sleeve revealing the entire chain and the fact that it was wrapped all the way around his forearm, "You see, if this comes off I lose control and become a Ghoul. A Ghoul is a mindless killing machine that searches the world thirsting for human blood, they are more powerful then you can and much more diffucult to kill. They are believed to be weak aginst holy crosses, thus the Holy Lock on my arm, on the lock itself is a small cross, but the true sealing power is that combined with the power of the person who put it on me. This Holy Lock allows me to keep the Ghoul in check and still use my powers, but if I use too much of the power or use it for too long I'll degenerate into the Ghoul." He exhaled sharply, afraid of how she might react at the fact that if the Holy Lock came off that he would try, and probably succeed, in killing her, her friends and everyone else who he came near. *Please I beg of you don't let her hate me like so many others.* He stepped aside and opened the door, "You might want to go. I'll talk to you later, but please think over everything I said." With that he stepped out of the room and walked down the hall and around the corner. There he sat down and listened to the three of them in the hall.

Alyssa was shocked. "Wow. That's a lot." she said and looked at Tiberius and said, "I have to go now, but we'll talk to you later back in the rooms." she smiled at Tsukune. "Thanks for telling us, it really helps us get to know each other. She gave him a dazzling smile, kissed Tiberius back and then held hands as they walked down the hallway to fighting. She repeated everything Tsukune told her to Tiberius and waited for his reaction.

"Oh yeah I figured as much," Tiberius said with a smile. "He doesn't have to worry. His secret is safe with us. Besides, that is a cool looking chain. If anything, that makes me like him even more. He and I are two peas in a pod. Both of our lives have given us hardships and we each have to overcome them. I admire his courage."

Alyssa nodded in agreement and they continued down the hallway and into the Training Hall they were in yesterday. The sparring teacher looked at them.

"Animaeos, the boy you were fighting yesterday, has been admitted to the ATG," the teacher said darkly and the lesson began. They separated off into partners.

"Kaizen and Tiberius you wanna be partnered with me again?" asked Alyssa.

Kaizen just stared at Alyssa and Tiberius. 'No wonder Tiberius had no reaction! Tehy're already going out...' Kaizen walks a distance behind the couple, following them to fighting class, but doesn't want to disturb their lovey-dovey moment. He looked back at Tsukune and wondered why he didn't come with us. Maybe it was what he said. But Alyssa doesn't look disturbed. He decided to ask Alyssa later in fighting class. He lingerd behind the two, still shocked to find that they were so close.

Alyssa straightened up and got into a ready-stance and told Kaizen what Tsukune had said to her. She smiled at the end sadly. "It's a sad story." she said. She flew up high and came down for a mock-kick at Tiberius but then "missed". She smiled. "I'm just getting warmed up." she said.

"No time for gentlemanry-- or gendlewomanry in your case." the teacher amended hastily. "Get going with your fights!" he barked.

Tiberius then decided to smile and say," Sure teach. Whatever you say." Tiberius then bowed to his girlfriend. Tiberius then got into his Wing Chun fighting stance. Tiberius circled around Alyssa, looking for an Opening. Tiberius liked to take time to study his opponents. He Never rushed in unless the moment is dire.

"woah, what an annoying life it must be." Kaizen yawned and just stood there. "So we're sparring, huh" With that, he teleported above Alyssa and punched her down, then teleported back a bit, not wanting to get between the couple. 'I can't hurt themmuch either, they might combo me with their couple stuff. How annoying.' he thought. He decided to rest a bit and observed the two sparring. He leaned back agianst a wall, ready in case they might do a surprise attack.

Alyssa smiles and then follows Tiberius. "Tell me later, Tsukune!" she calls brightly to Tsukune and wraps her arm around Tiberius. "So we have fighting next..." she recalled a glimpse of Animaeos. "Haven't seen that snake Animaeos in a while..." she said, looking over at Tiberius. His face was unreadable. "Have you?"

OoC:I thought we were in fighting class?

 

"No I haven't," Tiberius said. "But I go out on a Limb to say that he is probably working on his character a bit. I hope he changes his ways. Not just for his sake, But everyone else's as well. Some things that he needs to do and hopefully he will do them. I'm pretty sure he is fine, wherever he is. Now let's get back to sparring."
