Meanwhile, I'll create my character. Feel free to have names like Angel, Fang, or even like the Gasman, for example.

Name: Starr

(The story that came to the name: she was looking around from her cage in itex and came upon a sign that said "Starbucks!" not knowing what that was (back then) she started calling herself Starr.

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Color wings: black

Description: expert flier, caring and kind, but can fight if she feels like it. She wants nothing more than to get out of the freaking itex headquarters she is being held in, but she can't do it on her own.

Location: I think you've figured that out by now, but Itex headquarters in a dog crate.

PLOT: (sorry I'm new at this and forgot to include it) Starr has just figured out that there are other birdkids in this Itex place. She has been held here for her whole life, and wants to find out who she is and what Itex wants with her. She figures out that Itex has been kidnapping birds everywhere in the world to make new combined species with them. She escapes but barely, and needs the help of everyone she can get. She needs to stop Itex and their wave of destruction before all species are affected by the lack of every single bird in the world. But how can she do that when Itex is trailing madly after her and tracking her down with new robotic Erasers and other detestable things that can kill?

I read the first volume of the manga if that counts anything. And I just loved it. A-MAZ-ING.

Color wings: Black with some dark blue, slightly flurescant feathers throughout.

Description/hobbies: Loves 2 things more than everything else, flying and sleeping, to the point that he has attempted to do both at the same time. Successes: 0. He dislikes work and hates Itex for making him work in their experiments. One of the few things he's willing to work at is escaping them. He also has a fondness for small armaments.

Current location: Dog crate 3 above Starr's.

Age: 16

Color wings: White with black on the tips

Description/hobbies: Luke is usually really sweet. She's ambitious, independent, and only gets really mad when she's in a bad mood.

She enjoys music,(especially guitar, and violin) and her creative side runs wild when she paints or draws.

Current location: Dog crate, two to the left of Starr's.

IC: Starr looked around her dog crate, shivering at what the itex guys might do. She noticed that they had stacked more crates on top of her, and wondered who was in them.

"Hello?" she called nervously. An itex worker quickly came and shushed her violently.

Luxe was fast asleep in his dog crate, located three spots above Starr, when he heard he crying out 'hello'. Her call stirred him just slightly enough to go over to the end of his crate to try and look downwards at where he thought she might be from the last call.

"Yo, who's down there?" he replied with no real tone in his voice.

"Oh, wow, this is the first time I've ever had company," said Starr, more quietly than the first 'Hello'.

"I said QUIET" the scientist shouted. "Let us talk" said whoever was in the crate next to Starr's. "What harm can it do? We're in steel dog crates, how do we escape?" The scientist shrugged, what harm could three bird kids in cages do, the scientist thought. "Hello, my name's Dante" said the kid in the dog crate next to Starr's.

"What? Speak up!" Luxe said somewhat loudly from his crate, "I'm must be at least, I dunno, 3 crates above you!"

Moving around, Luxe got into a more comforable position, just crouching by the front of his crate was sort of uncomfortable.

"So who are you? My name's Luxe, that's Luck-xae. Nice to meet you."

Luxe then turned his attention to the person in the box next to Starr's.

"Nice to meet you Dante."

"Nice to meet you too, Luxe! I'm Starr!" said Starr, excited for the company. "Who are you talking to?"

"Shush from the experiments!" yelled an itex worker. "Do you want me to sedate you?"

Starr was scared, but overcame her fear by thinking of her first new roommates.

"Shut up and let us talk, you idiot!" Dante yelled at the scientist. "Me, and i'm in the dog crate next to yours. Do you know what type of bird DNA you have? I have owl, i figured it out during the tests." Dante was glad for the conversation, it was so boring in the other room.

"Oh, I have the DNA of the eagle!" said Starr. "This is the first company I've had in-- who knows how long the time has passed." She looked around and saw the scientist running to the other room. "Be careful, I've been here for years, they sedate you with shots and beat you up if you're mean. They paralyze you so you can't do anything about it first, so I would watch out."

[ZhaneX]

"Meh, who cares about the damn scientists." Luxe said from his cage, "It doesn't really matter in any event. I'm used to sleeping, so I don't care if they want to sedate me." He then said something else in a low whisper, "If they really wanted to punish me...they'd take away my fly time..."

He then returned to a louder voice.

"Anyway as far as I can tell I've got raven DNA in me."

"Let them try to sedate me!" The scientists tried to sedate him, but he twisted around in the cage and dodged. This went on for about another 10 minutes before the scientists got frustrated and left. "See, I'm not afraid of them."

"Cool..." said Starr. "Oh look, time for our flying time." She looked up to see a whitecoat stroll up to them leisurely, and one by one unlock the dog crates. "This way!" the whitecoat barked. Starr followed, then gestured for the other two birdkids to do the same.

Dante got out and followed Starr. "Is that always how you dress? You look like a giant snowball." The scientist didn't speak but did get red in the face and walk faster.

"Yeah, that's right, just run. Besides, you still have those out of season snowball uniforms. Seriously, I thought I mentioned to try gray!" Starr joined in the fun, laughing derisively. She stretched her black wings. It was good to be out of the dog crate.

The scientist fumed. He suddenly turned around to slap Dante, but his hand was caught by Dante's. Dante did some fancy twist thing with his hand and broke the scientists. "Well, that was fun."

"Oh, man, they're coming! Not that I'm afraid, but they may get the erasers out. Quickly, out the door!" Starr yelled and grabbed Dante and Luxe's wrists. She dragged them outside. "Up and away!"

Dante snapped out his wings and took to the air. He loved the feeling it was exhilirating (I don't know how to spell it so i took a guess).

OoC: after we've escaped and we're like deeper in you can take one. Here are some to start your thinking: Water breathing, lightning summoning, and super speed, and camoflauge.

 

IC: Starr snapped out her coal black wings as well, catching the air and soaring. "Let's get out before they send the flyboys!" yelled Starr. She swooped low and landed in a clump of bushes.

Luxe snapped wide awake the second he felt the free air hit his face, his black wings sparkling with spots of flourecsant blue. He never felt alive anywhere but in the air.

"WOOOOOWHO!" he cried out, his voice carrying through the air, "Man I missed this, how long's it been?!"

Luxe suddenly did a nose-dive downwards before sharply turning up, doing a loop in the air before spinning and rising back up to Dante and Starr.

"Ah, I just can't get enough of this..."

He then saw Starr making a break for it.

"Hey, I dunno if that's such a good idea...besides, I hate leaving the air..."

Then again, he thought, if I follow her, I might get the chance to fly any time I want!

"Hey, wait up!" he said before quickly following after Starr.

"Good, you came! We'll be back in air as soon as we get our plans straight!" Starr exclaimed happily with Luxe nearby. "This is the first and only successfull attempt at leaving; I did it only because I finally had company. Let's wait for Dante before we start planning."
