so many people(kids/teens) never like the real rap. now they think stuff like LOL smile face or your a jerk or fire burnin is soooooo awsome and call it rap yet its too much retarted/lame to be considered rap. but they throw tomatoes at the best rap n say trey songz or soulja boy or sean kingston are wicked. WTF!?

no one except me n a handful of my friends still believe in the real rap like eminem or lil wayne or the game or tupac.

I'm not into Rap. They...talk too fast. Lol. I'm more into R&B' date=' Pop, Pop punk, [b']Hip hop[/b] and Metal.

The funk you think Rap is?

Don't try to get attention with rap in this sewer, forgotten it is.

The problem with today's teens is their ego.

Every rapper talked about Hip Hop didn't used to be like this.

The Game, 50 Cent and more of those sleeping giants talked about,

The Game, Bishop Lamont, Tupac, Biggie, Rakim, Jay Z, Nas, Em and 50(in his old days) where the real deal

What people need is some of that old school inspiration, y'know? Hell, if Soulja Boy and Wayne is all they is getting out of there sleeve i wonder what sick retarded anus gave birth to it.

But if the rappers who're still alive would go back to dealing some real plates then i might see a future for the already dead culture of Rap.

The Game is dead, he quit because Hip Hop is screwed.

50 Cent is dead, his ego and hunger for monney got the better of him.

Em didn't write treu rap songs since his new album.

Jay Z, this dude is still kicking with badass lyrics

Nas, this guy died with real rap

Bishop Lamont, now there's one dude who i still believe in, just made fresh songs and they went into history as classics for me.

sometimes, people want to listen to stuff like "stanky leg" or "crank dat" simply because of the hook or the dance, not because they think it is a good song. good rap is all about lyrics. If you listen to somebody like kanye west or jay-z, you'll notice that they have great lyrics and they aren't all about hooks; they're considered to be good rappers. People who commonly listen to rap know that, but people who don't will think rap is all about violence, money, bastards, etc, and that really isn't what rap is all about.

Y'know when i read Jay-Z i sorta believed you, but then i read Kanye West.

I feel the pressure, under more scrutiny,

and what I do? Act more stupidly.

bought more jewelry, more Louis V, my momma couldn't get through to me.

The drama, people suing me,

I'm on T.V. talking like it's just you and me.

I'm just saying how I feel man,

I ain't one of the Cosby's I ain't go to Hill man

I guess the money should've changed him,

I guess I should've forgot where I came from.

that's pretty good to me

barely no one cares about the dancin to songs in my skool

now, eminem is tru $H!+. he aint rappin about girls or money. re raps about his life( when im gone, mockinbird, like toy soldiers) hes rappin about his home n america( white amreica, mosh, beautiful) hes rappin about how most of the world is against him and that he will not backdown( till i collapse, fight music, lose yourself) hes rappin about his wayse and his alter-ego, slim shady( 3 am, crack a bottle, lose yourself) and i could go on but you'd get the point

everyone except me, my little bro and my friends care about tupac. no one else in my skool. they dont know hes the greatest(em's on his way) they dont care he was greater than any other rappa livin or dead. sometimes i have 2 tell the kids in my grade theyre F*c|<3d up.

they sicken me

If you like rap/hip hop these are very good. Not the thrash you hear everytime on the radio.

Oh on a side note before Eminem there was Rob Van Winkle with ice ice baby and ninja rap.

The mainstream stuff you hear on the radio isn't rap, it's pop.

Rakim, anyone?

Dude, the stuff he posted there IS NOT mainstream.

and Rakim only sounds good when he has certain people backing him, like Eric. B or DJ Premier. Other than that, I can only enjoy is first solo album.

I answered to the stuff you hear on the radio, that's mainstream.

Uh, hello? Rakim, the number 1 most influential of all time? That guy would put Nas, Biggie and Pac to shame on his own.

Yeah, he's infleuntial, but he hasn't been putting out quality material for a while now. All he's been doing is revisiting "Paid in Full" but not really expanding.
