Miharu got out of the taxi cab that drove her all the way to the remote mountain lodge. Miharu squinted a bit as the wind picked up and blew snow in her direction.

"Thanks mister!" Miharu thanked as she paid the driver. She heaved out her massive luggage bag out of the trunk and dragged it towards the lodge. As she got closer, she could see people waiting outside.

"Hey guys! Am I late?"

A loud roar and an annoying sound came from outside. It was Haris' RX-8, chrome colored with a black spoiler. Haris has slammed on the brakes to aviod Ravan's car. He came about two feet from smacking the back of it. He let a deep breath, "That was close," Haris muttered under his breath. Ravan would of killed me if I'd hit his car. Haris popped the trunk then ran and got his stuff. Walked over to the shack and through his things in a corner and stood.

Shu looks over as Haris walks in and decides to go over to the door and see who else is there. He see a cute girl standing just outside the door with some heavy luggage and raises an eyebrow. Without saying anything, Shu picks up the heavy luggage and puts it on a shoulder with a slight grunt and turns towards the inside of the shack, carrying the luggage inside several feet and saying "You coming in or what?"

"Names Shu Chinpo. Now are you going to tell me where i'm supposed to put this?" Shu really didn't mind, to be honest. He was just a little afraid of getting close to people at the moment. That, and it was just his nature. He didn't really know anyone here all that well yet, and he had a tendency to be suspicious of everyone until he could be sure that they weren't fakes. Then again, we all wear masks, in the end. By that same token, I wonder why I even bother to be worried about it. Shu thinks this ruefully as he waits for Miharu to respond to his last question.

Haris just stood in the corner with all his stuff. Taking in the warm, pleasant surroundings. He didn't think he'd like it at the ski shack, but to tell the truth, he actually liked it here. He just knew he was going to have fun. No matter what, he was going to have fun. Haris looked around for a moment longer and walked over towards the door.

Ravan got some fire food, or wood, that was next to the fireplace next to the door leading to the kitchen, placing them, and looking for the matches. "Damnit, whenever I'm looking for a box of matches, they always disappear." He got up a second, and looked around the fireplace. No matches to be seen.

Ravan walked into teh kitchen, slamming the door open, and crouched to one of the lower cabinets looking for some matches or a lighter at least. After several minutes of shoving stuff out of the way and going deep into the shelves, he finally found the matches. This is getting really annoying to be honest.

Walking out of the kitchen, he light up a match and threw it into the fireplace, closing the fire curtain. He then grabbed a chair where his coat was laying on the top, and dragged it to the fireplace, and sat on it, looking at the fire.

Ravan looked out to the corner of his eye, and saw Miharu looking out the window. He heard her remark about the snow piling up high and that it was snowing hard. He sighed. "Yeah, well Winter says hi." he muttered under his breath. I really need to lay off the Black Metal for a while. But on second thought, not really. He smiled faintly at the fire.

Shu walks over to a chair not far from where he was sitting and puts the bag next to it, then walks over to where Miharu is at the window and looks outside seeing that the snow had risen almost another whole inch during the intervening time since he had last looked. "Jeez, talk about a cold day in hell. I thought there was only weather in Siberia or something." Shu didn't really like the way that the snow was just piling up the way it was. he liked the warmth, so cold like this didn't do anything to improve his nerves, and the inordinately large amount of snow made it even worse. "At this rate we could end up getting snowed in for several days." Shu was wearing a very sour look on his face as he tried to think of some way to get his mind off of the dreadful weather.

(you know, thought processes aren't supposed to be inside quotation marks. was the italicization for emphasis? if not, then i didn't know that we were doing telepathic speaking. >_>)

--He only said one thing. There is no italics with quotations. <,<

Ravan looked back to the two people looking outside of teh window. "Hey Shu, quit trying to get some from Miharu." Ravan joked around, turning his head back to teh fire place, where the wood burned. The blaze shone in his eyes, seeming to reflect the same heat.

As annoyed as Shu already was, he was even more annoyed by Ravans tactless joke. Reaching into his jacket, he grabbed a random object and chucked it at Ravan, the object bouncing off of his head before whizzing away into a corner somewhere. "Don't joke like that. It annoys me more then I already am." Turning back to the window, Shu folds his arms and glares at the snow outside, really wishing that it wasn't snowing as hard and fast as it was.

Ravan scratched his head. Damn, doesn't know how to take a joke does he? He got up, took the object that was thrown at his head, and placed it where it was originally. "You know Shu, isn't this the time where people forget any worries and troubles they have, and spend time with their friends and such?" Ravan asked while placing the object down.

Shu looks at Ravan with a look that says he just could not care less at the moment. "Sorry Ravan, but I'm just not in the mood for any of your jokes at the moment. You know how much I hate this cold and snowy weather, especially when it's a blizzard out there." Shu takes his random object back, which just happened to be an unsolved Rubix cube, and goes to sit in Ravans chair in front of the fire, fiddling with the rubix cube as he warms up a bit.

Walking over to the fireplace, he leaned against the wall, and sighed. Well, at least he gives a logical explanation. Ravan looked at the Rubix cubed, and laughed. "Need some help?" Ravan asked, knowing that the Rubix cube is not everyone's friend, except for those who try to prove that their smart by solving a Rubix cube.

"Not really. This is just something i do to pass the time. There are much harder versions out there, but i prefer this one." Within a few minutes, Shu solves the Rubix cube and tosses it over to Ravan. "Perhaps you could come up with a more challenging puzzle for it?" Shu crosses his right leg over his left and leans his head into his right hand as he lets loose a big yawn.

(so basically i am going to assume that Ravan and Shu have known each other for a while now.)

--Possibly, if you want.

Ravan mixes it at an entirely random pace, and with random orders with out even looking. Instead, he looks at the fireplace for some reason. He makes his last move with the Rubix cube, and looks over to it. He glares at the cube, as if he couldn't believe something happened. "I can't believe it." The Rubix cube, which he scrambled randomly without looking, was back the same way he got it.

Shu laughs out loud at Ravans failed attempt at randomization and almost falls out of the chair. "Wow Ravan, you really aren't all that good with making puzzles are you?" Shu gets up and grabs the rubix cube, twisting and turning the different sections at a very fast paced rate for about 30 seconds before holding it above Ravans hand and dropping it. "There you are, have fun!" Shu smiles slightly evilly as he sits in Ravans chair, now completely awake and ready to enjoy Ravans misery as he tries to solve the most complex riddle that is the cube of rubix.

Ravan looked up and gave a smile. He grabbed a nearby table, and put teh cube on it. He twisted the top 45 degrees right, and started to take the pieces out. With all pieces out, started to put the pieces back together. He picked up the completed cube, with it solved. "Done." Ravan joked around.

"Tch..." Ravan takes the cube, and looks at it for a second. He twists and turns a bit, and does a bit more twisting, and turning, and one more twist. He looked at it one more, and sighed. "Done." He tosses the cube to Shu, and grabs a nearby seat, and sighs. "Hate Rubix cube's."

Shu looks over the rubix cube carefully and sees that it was indeed solved. "You hate rubix cubes huh? Well then, I guess i know what to throw at you from now on whenever you annoy me." Shu smiles ruefully and tosses the hexagonal rubix cube aside and sits down in front of the fire, holding his hands out towards it as he warms up a a bit more.

"Oh yeah, in a bit, we're gonna gather everyone, and see who can tell some of teh scariest ghost story. I know it's Christmas time, but hell, you know I like to do these things when we gather up like this." Ravan grinned at the fire. Ravan looked outside, and the blizzard seemed to have begun dying down. "Hey, the blizzard is dying out a bit."

Shu grinned mischievously and said "I am going to make all of you wet yourselves before the night is out." In his mind, Shu begins conjuring up some of the scariest plots that he can think of. Putting his hands out in front of him, he folds them as he switches to the Seiza sitting style and closes his eyes, his mind turning over plot after plot.
