Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
*reads title* WIN *reads thread* "And The?" Eh... Ganondorf was the best boss, as usual. Other than that, Argorok was awesome for being a giant dragon. Stallord was also quite awesome. The first two bosses were horrible, though, especially the piss-easy Fyrus. On a tangentially related note, TP is one of the few Zelda games that sets up viable shipping wars.
DragonZelda
it scares me that his head only comes to life when u destroy his back. floating head. lol. its creepy but hey! its a zombie. have you made any zelda yu-gi-oh cards yet? Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
it scares me that his head only comes to life when u destroy his back. floating head. lol. its creepy but hey! its a zombie. have you made any zelda yu-gi-oh cards yet?The head was the reason he was so much more fun. Armoghoma and Blizzeta were too short, and don't even get me started on the first two; Stallord was the first one to extend the fight properly. A select few. A tip: I find it's best to consider the plot rather than the gameplay when surmising a card's powers, and to obsess over making the cars as realistic as possible. DragonZelda
I did like armogohma. now i like argorok. i basicly had 2 beat temple of time twice! why? because someone did the miniboss didnt get the statue! the only thing i didnt do was getting the treasure chests and the miniboss! it was fun. right now im stuck in the city in the sky dungeon. the miniboss(sub boss) is hard. i dies once but i won and i laughed as he was defeated in fate. lol!!!each time i face a boss or plau zelda at night i start shaking my heart pumps faster and my hand sweats. i dont like it. :( the best time to play it for me is in the afternoon. so none of that happens.all the bosses make sence but the one that makes the most sence would be argorok. it follows story well. Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Eh, the City in the Sky was a really sucky dungeon. Good thing it had the boss to make up for it. IMO, the first Darknut was a lot more fun and challenging than Armoghoma.
Eury
City in the Sky was rather disappointing. For some reason, I liked Morpheel's dungeon the best. Armoghoma was a horrible boss. He should have been a Mini Boss instead.
'tyleR
This 'un. +1 Argorok was cool. Morpheel scared the sheet out of me. >.>
Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
Well, if Armoghoma were the miniboss, we wouldn't get the Darknut. Personally, I think this is an acceptable arrangement. Lakebed Temple is like the OoT Water Temple except easier; once you figure out how to operate the main hub, it becomes awesome. I find that the Water Temple was marginally cleverer, though, and it had an unquestionably more epic miniboss. Seeing as they have the same boss, I can't differentiate there. Morpheel scared the s*** out of me. >.>Don't be too ashamed. Morpheel is up there with Molgera and Eox in the running for "biggest LoZ boss." Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
ya for its greatly arranged. morpheel is like a huge leach that eats you alive.I actually thought of it as more of a lamprey. Leeches are much more slug-like. 'Course, in the context of Zelda, it looks like a giant Like-Like... *shudders at newly-created mental image*
Eury
Molgera <3 Molgera was a really fun boss. Eox was stupid IMO. Morpheel is just one of the greatest bosses in LoZ ever, IMO of course.
'tyleR
Morpheel scared the s*** out of me. >.>Don't be too ashamed. Morpheel is up there with Molgera and Eox in the running for "biggest LoZ boss." It was more of the fact that I was playing around two in the morning alone in my house in the dark. I was like' date=' "Okay, jump through the hole, a darker room, big hole.....weird tentacle." Then the eye came out, which triggered OoT thoughts, "Oh, sweet, Morpha. Sick boss. Lots of memories." Then more tentacles popped out, then Morpheel sticks it's huge ass mouth out of the sand. By that point I was "']:" I got far enough to where it finally started swimming. That's when I went "D:" and just hauled ass and killed it.
DragonZelda
ya. that was a little odd.i just see some tentacles and im like okay ill take that.then all of a sudden he starts swimming. and im like what the? thats when i went D:
Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
@Eurynome: 'Course, Phantom Hourglass as a game wasn't exactly shining... Rant: I will now point out that the real best boss of Zelda isn't an option in this poll. Ever since OoT, Ganondorf has been made of win. Honestly, I don't mind his being the villain of nearly every Zelda game; his intelligence, cunning, and honor make him a sharp, generally favorable contrast to the mindlessly evil monstrosity that is Majora, and he's unquestionably cooler than Vaati (except for fangirls). Ever since WW, he's been quite sympathetic; given OoX, he's movingly tragic; and in TP, he proved to be a brilliant warrior even without the brute force provided by his beastly alternate form. Then there's Ganon, who has, since OoT, been a horrifying force of corrupted destruction made all the more poignant by its contrast with Ganondorf. Where Ganondorf is the noble leader of a wolf pack, Ganon is that wolf with rabies; utterly mindless and deprived of its original personality and motives. OoX made him a horrifically tragic creation, and OoT made him a terrifying one, while TP's Ganondorf earns major points for being able to control the horrible beast that annihilated his personality in all previous installments. Or, in summary: There's a reason Ganondorf is the main villain.
Phantom Roxas
I haven't even played a game with Vaati and he seems more interesting than Ganondorf, though Ganondorf is still rather cool. I'm actually quite amazed you didn't mention Zant or Agahnim. I vote for Stallord.
Guest Supreme Gamesmaster
I was under the impression Aghanim was just an illusion created by Ganondorf. Zant, meanwhile, was basically incapable of acting without being able to assign a divine will to his actions; an intriguing dissection of religious fanaticism, yes, but not a terribly interesting or cunning villain on his own. Vaati is a Woobie Destroyer of Worlds that generally hates humankind. Basically, he's an early-stage Ganondorf with more magic and less cunning/power/fun battles.
