  1. 1. Where should we get the cards for the YCCGEE?

    • Use cards from the YCCG to save time and quickly get cards

    • Use only origional cards to create a less random game where specific aspects are adressed

A set a month will probably do, or each 2 weeks. Depending on how much work Nightmarian is willing to do and how often.

There won't be a need for designated re-worders or anything, anyone can just submit a re-wording (I'm pretty sure Nightmarian is a good worder anyway, he'll probably fix them as they come - and to a good level no doubt) and balance issues will be brought up when people complain about it enough that it clearly needs a change, unless it's just complaining like happens against Heavy, which is good for the game.

Right then. Nightmarian doesn't seem to be coming back.

I'll be running the revival by the looks of things, with help from others though.

A poll's been added. I'd vouch for starting with a new set and no other cards, and let people submit old YCCG ones if they want. That fits under option 2, by the way. I want that to sort out specific things, such as making high level monsters more valuable, and some other points like the value of destruction vs "send to x", which we can talk about.

I'd be willing to help in a limited degree. I was avoiding the revival as I've worked with Nightmarian before and he's a lot more troublesome to work with. I've already worked on 2 CCG projects before and the only way this will become successful is if people actually duel. There are a ton of people who want to submit cards but the majority of them don't want to play. If you can keep people equally interested in dueling and card making then this can work out quite well. I also agree that this should start fresh with brand new cards rather than work off what was established in the old CCG.

Glad you're interested. Since no-one who voted for the first option in the poll actually posted, I doubt they have a strong opinion and they're probably not even interested in joining, so I expect that we'll start off fresh.

And we'll do our best to keep people playing, although it can be hard.
