Scyire
If you can't handle the NDS controls, hate the NDS, not Zelda. Wind Waker > This thread.
Kiyo
The NDS controls aren't hard. They are much easier to learn than the others, IMO. It's just that they tend to make your wrist sore after a few hours.

Enrise
Legend of Zelda is an epic game series. You sir, are just full of sh*t to say that it is complicated. If you can't figure out the puzzles and stuff, buy or find a damn walkthrough for the game. Also, Ocarina of Time was an epic game of the series. 'tyleR
i'm not your brother' date='I'm used to playing mario which no-one can say is complex [b']Mario CAN be complex, at times. Try beat the originals, up through SNES. Complex enough.[/b] Again, I'm not your brother It doesn't matter. You act like you're 5, and you're 4 years older than him. yes but a cut-scene don't have to make up about 1/4 of a game, plus, in zelda, cutscenes mean more annoying character time, and i'm sure even YOU can't stand Tingle. Tingle doesn't have that many cutscenes at all and they don't ever take up a fourth of the game. Plus, I found Tingle kinda funny. :P

DroutTrigger
All Zelda games are awesome, people that hate it is because they cant accept its epicness. If you find the controls difficult and is the only thing you can come up with, im sorry but please stop playing games.

.:Mimi:.
You don't like it because it is 'complex'? Isn't this just the same as saying that you're dumb? If you can't do it, use a walkthrough.

shatteredfox
here's what i mean by me saying i don't like zelda' date='the nes and snes ones were pretty decent games, but a bit too complex[/quote'] Complex? The NES was pretty straight forward. You have sword, walk around find dungeons beat dungeons, win game. ,the newer ones are even more complex and went out of control with equipping items to buttons. seriously, whoever decided that EVERY button on the controller needed to have an item equipped to it needs to be hung drawn and possibly quartered You're damn right. Those bastards for making you have to equip to ALL 3 buttons. ,that, plus the fact that there are in my opinion too many cutscenes equals a series that i WOULD play, but only if i had nothing else to do. Do you like metal gear solid? On serious note. the Zelda series did not have as many cutscenes as you say. Most of the cutscenes are during the beginning, and name any game today and it has more cutscenes except for windwaker. That had alot of cutscenes, but they were important to the story. This game's story is important so cutscenes = important. Also come on tingle appears like what? 27 minutes tops in windwaker. And most other games I don't think he even appears aside from the gameboy version. So bleh that holds no ground. also if I sound rude. I'm in a bad mood. "orcasin?"omg i got poptarts in the freezerNO ONE CARES. Also, Zelda I wasn't too good; it only really got good at ALttP, where it started having a plot. Then OoT came around, and we saw what LoZ was originally imagined to be... On that note, OoT's story is nothing short of epic. Ganon had always been an unsavory figure, but he joined the ranks of Darth Vader and the Joker one we saw what he was supposed to look like. Wind Waker's anti-hero Ganondorf was also quite win. Master Hyperion
I'm not really a fan of the Zelda series, since most adventure games bored me to dead, but I can barely see any flaw in the series, with the exception of the 3 CD-i games. Those 3 games shouldn't even exist, along with Hotel Mario. Link to the Past and Minish Cap are still awesome though.
