Well since Christmas is at the door the mods of YCM decided to do something to celebrate it. Events of all kinds will be posted across the site in the next few days.

As such I am hosting the first ever Christmas event in the Music forum!

 

 

How does it work?

  1. I will post a bunch of clips and hide clues in them. For each of them there will be a number of challenges and questions.
  2. The event will end... whenever the others end.
  3. Questions range from easy (just looking and finding clues) to lunatic (harder questions that require background knowledge). So basically everyone has a chance to win something!
  4. For each right answer you get points. The level system works as follows:
    • easy - 1 point
    • not-so-easy - 2
    • oh-sheet-lunatic - 3

[*]The first one with the right answer gets the cookies. If a challenge it's solved move to the next one.

[*]Whoever solves the most riddles and gets the highest number of points together wins something.

[*]No idea what that something is, needs to be discussed with the other mods first.

Note: You don't have to participate if you don't care. I mean, some most of the songs will be kinda cheesy since they're Christmas- or winter-related. It's hard to find Black Metal Christmas stuff so sorry about that.

Tips: One of them worked with Ayreon.

The next one is from the far North and are singing about the Cry of Silence.

One was in a band with a red-haired singer that isn't Simone Simons.

Another one was part of a band that sang about their Lost Lenore.

And one of them is dead.D=

First song is Happy Xmas (War Is Over). There's also a part from "Ave Maria".
