WhoAreYou?
hey i modified my earth deck once again, but this time i managed to get a hold of 3 injection fairy lilies that i won in one bid on ebay, so without further ado, i'll introduce my "modified" (just a little) deck, and none of these cards are breaking the rule of banned/restricted cards!! Monsters [21]Exiled Force x3Giant Rat x3Gigantes x3Gilasaurus x3Injection Fairy Lily x3Marauding Captain x3Milus Radiant x3 Spells [14]Fissure x3Gaia Power x3Giant TrunadeHammer Shot x3Heavy StormMystical Space TyphoonSmashing GroundUnited We Stand Traps [10]Call of the HauntedCompulsory Evacuation Device x3Life Absorbing Machine x2Mirror ForceTrap Jammer x3 Obviously, I don't have any monsters that are level 5 or higher, but my Fairy Lily card makes up for it. Here's what I'm doing with this deck:1. Play the monster removal cards to get rid of monsters before attacking, if possible.2. Play the spell/trap removal cards (i know, there's only a few) before summoning, if possible.3. Try to get more than 1 monster out on the field in one turn. I Just added Life Absorbing Machine to this deck.I tried a few combos with this deck already. Marauding Captain + Injection Fairy Lily, Milus Radiant + Gaia Power + Injection Fairy Lily, Gilasaurus + Hammer Shot/Fissure/Smashing Ground, Gilasaurus + Gilasaurus + Gilasaurus + Marauding Captain + Injection Fairy Lily/any monster for Captain's effect + United we standGiant Rat + Injection Fairy LilyGiant Rat + Exiled ForceInjection Fairy Lily + Trap Jammer (most important)that's all i can find for now. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!!

This is worse than my Rock-Returner deck, oh crap I haven't posted it yet oh well. needs RftDD, Solemn or Bribe or Decree, Mage Power, The Rock Spirit, Tuners & Synchros, huh that's all I can think of right now. Mage Power could go well with Gaia Power. I don't NEED fancy-pansy synchros and tuners right now... I DON'T HAVE ANY!! although if i did, i COULD use Goyo Guardian (synchro) or Shiba Warrior Taro (Tuner)but since there aren't many EARTH tuner monsters that I would want for this deck, screw the synchros for now. As for the rest of the cards, since cards can be destroyed within a turn with all these newer cards each month or so, there's no point of putting them in my deck. Coffee Black
i don't imagine this being too good. the ATK boost is temporary, so if you don't win, lily would be crushed next turn. have you played with this yet?

Guest Delinquent Girl NiAtSoFi
Run healing cards, like Draining Shield and Solemn Wishes. The way this deck is now, if no damage is dealt to you the entire game, Lily has only 4 shots and the 4th shot depletes you Life Points.
lord dmoc
Fine don't take my advice. My advice can be good though considering how good I am at this game some of the time but reputation doesn't mean funk sheet when it comes down to how you play the game! I can think of Spell Absorption, and that could really work.

Hydra of Ages
Deck is... Not great. However, since I dislike giving negative criticisms without backing up my claim (as otherwise you won't know what you're doing wrong), I'll run down your deck and give my commentary on each card, as well as my recommendations for how to improve. Fair? From what I can assume, this deck's win condition is Swarm, with Fairy providing the OTK potential. I'll work with that in mind. Monsters [21][spoiler=Exiled Force x3]Exiled is a strange card and good in certain rare circumstances, though I admit I kinda like him in this particular deck, he's still not all that great. He's a -1 to your hand advantage, a -1 to your field advantage (since you give up a Normal summon to summon him, and tribute him anyway), all to get rid of one card on your opponent's side of the field. To sum it up, Exiled is too much cost for too little. He CAN be summoned by Rat, which makes him bareable in this kind of deck, but probably not good enough to fit in as it is at the moment, especially at 3. [spoiler=Giant Rat x3]This is the kind of card you build decks off. Ratbox is a fairly fun decktype, and I would recommend it to anyone really just starting. In short, sweet card, pretty much makes the deck. [spoiler=Gigantes x3]Gigantes has always been a favorite of mine, due to his swarm potential and his function as a mini Heavy Storm. The problem, however, is that he also wrecks your own lineup, therefore the deck must be tailored appropriately. [spoiler=Gilasaurus x3]Interesting as a swarm choice, but essentially a risky play considering the opponent probably has a nice Tuner in their grave they'd like to tune right now. I wouldn't run Gila at three, or probably not even at all, unless the swarm is absolutely required. Again, a fairly decent but lackluster card that requires focus really to shine. [spoiler=Injection Fairy Lily x3]This card... meh... gives me a lot of iffs. It's a massive beatstick, but at a HEFTY risk. You only get a net advantage of 2400 if you manage to attack with her, and in return, she's completely vulnerable from then on. There's a reason you don't see many decks based on her... so yeah, a very situational card that I would rate not quite crap, but not particularly good either. Depending on how this deck rolls, I'll try to see how she can fit in... [spoiler=Marauding Captain x3]Okay, unlike other people, I admit I have a certain fondness for the good captain. Unfortunately, he's a lackluster swarm card, considering he requires for you to have one of your other monsters -AKA, one of the other ones chosen specifically for their ease to summon from the hand- and you get to bring them when you normal summon him. Fine and dandy and all, but you now created a massive target that will most likely not achieve a OTK, making him a rather poor splash-able choice. That said, I actually do kinda like the captain, but he must be used sparringly. 3 is kinda pushing it. [spoiler=Milus Radiant x3]...Okay, you know how I said most of the other cards were decent but lackluster? Yeah, Milus is the same but without the decent part. Milus completely sucks, no two ways about it. The only possible way he provides any asset if if you managed to get a full board, and even then, his advantage is still only slightly more than if you had a stronger monster on your side. I see what you're trying to do with him, allowing him on a swarming team, but his use is so rarely use...ful... that it would be much better if you just put a random beatstick in, as at least Beatsticks have more generic use than Radiant. Spells [14][spoiler= Fissure x3]On the plus, seeing the opponent tearing his hair out at your constant Fissure/Hammer shot draws WOULD be funny... on the other hand, with the speed of the meta these days, most people wouldn't care too much and kill you next turn with their Synchro. Can be a dead draw far too often to carry essentially 7 copies of the same card. [spoiler= Gaia Power x3]*sigh* Know what I said about Milus? Well, apply it to spells and you get Gaia. Seriously man, with Heavy and Gigantes, this isn't going to be on the field for longer than like, a turn. It's too much investment into too little, these slots could be filled with something with more swarm potential. [spoiler=Giant Trunade]Even MORE global ST removal?! [spoiler=Hammer Shot x3]On the plus, seeing the opponent tearing his hair out at your constant Fissure/Hammer shot draws WOULD be funny... on the other hand, with the speed of the meta these days, most people wouldn't care too much and kill you next turn with their Synchro. Can be a dead draw far too often to carry essentially 7 copies of the same card. [spoiler= Heavy Storm]Staple, not bad. Kinda redundant with 3 Gigantes though. [spoiler=Mystical Space Typhoon]NOW it's getting really redundant. MST's a staple, but at this point, you have enough ST removal with Gigantes and Storm... [spoiler=Smashing Ground]On the plus, seeing the opponent tearing his hair out at your constant Fissure/Hammer shot draws WOULD be funny... on the other hand, with the speed of the meta these days, most people wouldn't care too much and kill you next turn with their Synchro. Can be a dead draw far too often to carry essentially 7 copies of the same card. [spoiler= United We Stand]Equips are iffy, especially only 1 of them. I'll reserve judgment on this one until later. Traps [8][spoiler=Call of the Haunted]Staple, good call. [spoiler=Compulsory Evacuation Device x3]I love CED, but even so, You've got >7< copies of monster removal insta-spells! Trust me man, this will end up dead more often than you'll ever know. [spoiler=Life Absorbing Machine]You'll be able to pull this off exactly when?Trap cards need two turns to be useful. You have 3 GIGANTES, a storm, and a Trunade. Your field is hardly going to be undisturbed. Plus, LAM only works on three of your cards- your Faries. A situational card that only combos with one of your cards? Not the best choice. [spoiler= Mirror Force]Staple, once again, good call. [spoiler=Trap Jammer x3]What is this I don't even... No, no no, trap's are very rare this current Meta, especially ones in the Battle Phase. At best, you'll negate a Mirror force with one. You have GIGANTES and HEAVY. Cards aren't going to be on the field long enough for your opponent to drop traps. Stay tuned when I return with how I think you should change your deck! Coffee Black
yeah sorry about that, life absorbing machine could only be used with lily; otherwise it's useless. i know you're trying to run an EARTH swarm, but currently, it wouldn't work out. just too many inconsistencies and contradictions. you need a different focus, and/or different cards to use.
