Dante set up a small make shift bed on a patch of green grass and yawned. "I guess I should go to sleep." He said letting his eyelids close and his mind drift.

Dante had a pack on his back and his a cloak on his back. He was on the edge of a lushious green forest. A beatiful woman was crying and hugging him, "Don't go Dante!" "I have to leave honey. I fel like I have to." Dante replied to his wife. "Please DANTE!!!" She cried and kissed him passionatly.

Dante woke up sweating and dawn was approaching. He took out his canteen and poured it on his face.

Cerise had a dream that she was still a hatchling and she was coming back to her mother with a small squirrel in her jaws, happy with her first catch. She flew fancily, doing somersaults in the air. She returned to find her mother dead. "No..." she choked. She saw the egg underneath her mother missing. "No..." she choked out again. She jolted awake and it was almost dawn. She was thirsty so she went outside to see Dante awake. "Do you have any extra water?"

Dante looked at Cerise still thinking about the dream. "Huh? Oh. Here." Dante said not paying attention and carelessly tossing a full canteen to Cerise. "So why are you awake?" He asked seeing that the guards were off duty and the city was asleep. Dante saw that Balter was still sleeping in the bushes and he thought it was amazing that he slept there all night and nobody notice a giant orc in the bushes, sleeping or maybe they saw him but were too afraid of him to leave their homes.

Balter was dreaming about the time his village got captured by his brother.

Soldiers where running everywhere, killing almost everyone.

Balter was escaping through the sewers.

He was running really fast, almost falling.

When he did got out,he did see how his own best friend got executed.

Balter suddenly did woke up,and he standed up.

"Yeah but we need some help and a plan because ever since Dalstern(THe orc king) has been in rule he has had the borders heavily guarded and has been building an army." Dante took another sip of water and continued. "I hope we can get help from the elven armies to defeat him. Which is why I wanted to go to the forests of th north."

"Ummm, I guess from here it would still be two days of traveling." Dante picked up all of the canteens and started to walk over to a well. "If we don't want to be held here for another week for questioning I think you should wake up Balter and we should get going. I'll fill the canteens and get everything packed up while you get ready for flight." He said as he filled the canteens with water from thte well as quietly as possibly and packed up the tent.

Cerise nodded, grabbed a squirrel, and said under her breath, I love this place, plenty of squirrels and birds. She then went to go wake up Balter. "Balter," she whispered as softly as a dragon could, which wasn't very soft. "We need to get going unless you want to be held for questioning for another week. And besides, you have a price on your head. Dante's packing." And withdrew herself from Balter's sleeping areas as Balter stirred and woke up.

ooC:Dragon Balter was already awake. See post #230.

Dante had the provision pack and the tent ready and a sleeping Saphira around his neck. "Ready?" He asked and recited the levitation spell and started to float about half way up to the gate. "Make sure Balter is secured good, we don't want him falling off during flight." Suddenly he heard a deep yell. "HEY! We gotta dragon and an orc!" Dante saw ten guard ontop of the walls with bow and arrows strung. "GO!" Dante yell. and floated around the gate and arrows flying. He quicklyused a spell to push away the arrows so they'll go right past all of them.

Cerise quickly tied Balter to her back, nabbed a last squirrel, and launched herself after Dante. It was good to fly again after a night of good rest. She dragon-smiled, showing her large curved fangs in delight. "So is it north, south, east, or west?" she asked Dante as she flew closer to his levitating form as they flew on.

"It's north." Dante said as an arrow flew beside his head. "Shall we keep flying for tonight or take our chances and set up camp somewhere? I'm fine with flying. I'm awake right now and you never know what might be lurking in those trees. Saphira seemed to have woken up by the guards. "Huh? What's happening?" SHe asked. "We have to leave beacuse it was too risky to have Balter and Cerise inside the city."

"Well let's keep going then. Looks like they're shooting arrows on us, so let's not lag behind." Cerise decided as they dodged another volley of arrows. "Anything Saphira can do?" Cerise felt an arrow graze her tail but she kept flying. A little longer and they will have evaded the guards, Cerise thought to herself to keep her going.

Kris stayed a bit back from the fight. He had decided it would be better if the guards didn't notice a 15-10 foot dragon flying overhead. Instead he waited for the guards to stop firing, even for a second. He got his chance and swooped in fast He caught a few guards of guard and watched them fall of the wall. He then told Dergard to breath fire on some on one side and then shouted, "Doerthullorik!" and shot a giant black lightning bolt out of his hand. "Get out of here! I'll hold them off!" He shouted to all the others. He drew his sword and charged at some other guards then said, "Dont worry I am the great assassin and I have brought down whole kingdoms before(Of course with help but....) so I shall be fine."

OOC: An excuse to be away as I am grounded and only just managed to get on the computor because my parents are asleep.

Cerise reared around and blew ice. Some of the guards were trapped in an icy prison until the ice melted. She turned back to the north. "So, should we keep fighting or keep going north?" she asked Dante. "You're the traveler, I hardly know my way around this place. I wasn't born here, I was born on a faraway isle."

Dante embraced his spell and all the arrows that came at them deflected away from all of them. "We have no quarrel with them and my spells are keeping all of the arrows away. I know the land here better than anyone else. We should keep moving." Dante looked around at the forests and grasslands. "I think that we should travel by foot from now on. How do the orc king know where we are all the time? He's got spies everywhere and they see dragons and flying people in the sky and were just like an orc in a group of elves. No offence Balter." Dante added quickly.

Cerise nodded her snout and kept flying despite the hail of arrows. At least they were deflected by Dante's spell. She felt she needed some more squirrel so she quickly dived to the ground, scooped one up, then flew back next to Dante. "Balter?" Cerise rumbled over the noise of the wind and the whistling of arrows. "Anything I can do to make it more comfortable?"

Cerise dragon-smiled again. When she was a hatchling she dreamed of finally growing her wings and being able to fly. She curved around, making sure that she was perpendicular to the path of the hot sun. "I'm going to go to that stream for a drink then fly back up. Okay?" She didn't wait for a reply. The hot sun, unlike yesterday's fog, brought her down and she scooped water into her jaws, then flew back up as she had done with the squirrel previously.

"Yeah, I stayed there for a week one time. I met one of the local tribes of lizardmen. Luckily they were peaceful and they gave me this tent. Right now in those swampy places some of the tribes are warring and fighting each other." Dante looked at the sun and wiped a small droplet of sweat from his forehead but suddenly Dante shivered as a freezing cold wind blew by and he saw some flakes of snow coming from the sky. "What the-?"

"It's the same ice magi!" Cerise bellowed and saw Kris flying overhead. "Dergard!" she roared. "Can you blow some fire? Dante's kind of cold!" Dergard obliged and most of the snow disappeared. "The orc king lives to the west, right? I have a feeling it has something to do with him trying to detain us. He must have employed an ice mage!" Cerise decided. She turned to Dante. "What do you think?"
