The time is 2079. Technology has advanced ten fold. All electronic devices have been linked to the internet. The digital world has been linked to everything too. But the only way to truly get there, is to use DT (Digital Transmitter) Pod. Once the people arrive, they are given a partner Digimon. However, the digital world is in danger. An unknown virus is spreading through out the digital world causing things in the real world to go hay wire. Because of this people are dying. The officials have tried to create a vacine for the virus, but as they don't know what it is and how it was made, they can't do much to stop it. There is one good to this however. Because the virus exists, links to peoples PDA's causing Digimon, to randomly show up on peoples PDA's. The one’s who receive Digimon partners in the real world, are known as the Digi Destined. They are the only ones who have the power to activate the newest power, Oversoul Digivolve.

Kunitachi High School - The public school in Kunitachi, Tokyo. Most kids attend this school, but a few of the richer kids attend Shukaku Private School

 

Shukaku Private School - A very fancy private school. Only the richest snobby kids can come here.

 

Mitaru Middle School - The local middle school. The grades are not all that good at the moment.

 

Sengeku University - The local colledge. Its got plenty of bright students most majoring in technology.
