Alordzynix
Rink was looking at the sky, it was an empty sky. No clouds and no bird, there was nothing outside of the sun. Rink had always seen that as a bad sign. Therefor he decided to wait before doing anything. "Any good strategies starts with waiting" he said to himself while he started looking for a good place to watch some birds.
Guest Lily
Upon Lily's travels, she started to walk around and soon became lost within the place in which she had travelled. She came across a boy younger than her, just staring at the sky, and decided to ask him for directions. "Excuse me, do you think you could help me? You see, I have come here to take part in a hunt for some treasure that is supposedly in a temple within this large country. I was wondering if you knew this place better than me and could guide me." Her voice always seemed cheerful and joyous throughout her words.
Hydra of Ages
Jeref yawned as he exited the plane, stretching out and groaning when he felt the discs of his spine crack loudly. He smirked as he rolled his shoulders, and waved at the pilot of the small aircraft. "Thanks, man. Hope it works out." he said with a smirk and a tip of his fedora, before stretching himself out once more in preparation for the trek before him. The man in the cockpit nodded at him and closed the door; the two had had a leisurely chat during the rather lengthy flight, in lieu of anything else to do. after waving his transport off as he took off in order to find a more conventional airport to refuel at, Jeref stifled another yawn and glanced around at his surroundings. He appeared to be in some sort of island, sub-tropical at the very least, though he really didn't feel that hot. He examined the artifact in his hand closely, running his fingers over its jagged edges, as if it had been broken violently; Which, of course, was unlikely. It seemed to be made of some sort of precious metal, similar to gold though he really couldn't place it. He'd guess titanium or electrum if he didn't know that such primitive societies wouldn't be able to make such highly specialized alloys. He sighed, shrugged, and pulled his hat down father over his face, as he hiked his satchel higher on his shoulder. He whistled a little as he walked down a roughly worn dirt track, seemingly made by frequent traffic. It would seem that there would be the best place to start. Alordzynix
"I'm sorry miss, but I myself am taking part in what I believe is the same treasure hunt and have just arrived here today. Also, even if you would find this temple, if you don't have all pieces you won't be allowed in" said Rink while examining the girls cloths, he thought they where weird. evilfusion
Iris was delighted. How could she not be? She had arrived only a few hours previous, using the free ticket that had been enclosed with the odd gold piece. Imagine, a free ticket to a potentially historic location and the chance to find a valuable treasure, all with the perk of being able to duel other skilled duelists! Even if she lost, she'd have gotten the chance to visit somewhere she'd never been before! She withdrew the envelope from her travel bag and re-read it. Well, the logical thing to do would be to locate the temple itself. For it was no good having all the pieces if the destination remained unknown. And, she realized with a small grin, if she knew where the destination was, the others searching for it would have to come by sooner or later. The biggest problem with that was, of course, that she had no idea where to start the search. The letter made mention of a city and from where she stood, there was no such city in sight. Iris folded up the letter and replaced it in her bag. Well, she may as well have a look around first, maybe find that city or some indication that the whole thing wasn't an overly elaborate hoax set by someone with an unknown motive and a presumably twisted sense of humor. She couldn't help but notice that the ticket hadn't been for a two-way trip.

OOC: Each of your characters will receive this in your next post:[spoiler=The Next Letter] [character's name],Welcome to Harighnash. By receiving this letter, I assume you've decided to join my little game. Now, there's one thing I need to be clear about: No killing. You can bruise someone all you like, but the Pieces don't resonate with murderers. Actually, that segues nicely. The Pieces resonate, shudder, and make a sort of windchime-y noise whenever they are near another. So, if that happens to you, then get your Duel Disk ready. Remember, your goal is to find all the Pieces of Regehlak by winning them through Duels. My one piece of advice: Don't lose sight of that. Guest Lily
"Well, sorry for troubling you. And good look for the rest of the search stranger." Lily said calmly, a smile spreading across her lips as she started to walk away. The piece that she had received was showing symptoms equal to that of which was described on the letter, but of course she didn't know about this. She walked across the town to a ruined Church-like place, in which she gasped in horror to see. "Oh my... These people don't care about their religion at all... What sinful people..." Lily muttered to herself, before she noticed a piece of paper hanging on the side of some of the rubble. She picked it up. "Wait, this has my name on." She quickly opened the envelope to see the letter, and immediately thought back to how her piece reacted to the boy. "Well well... He has a piece as well... This will be most interesting..." Lily said, before she went back to looking at the damage of the church. I still cannot believe they did this...

Alordzynix
"What a strange lady was that" said Rink to himself. He was sitting on a high building while trying to look over the city when suddenly a piece of paper with his name on it flew in to his face. After he read it he went into his pocket and took the piece out of it. "So you have a senor inside of you, is it? You should have said so sooner. Well, if a person really needs all pieces to get them self in to the temple, then they have to find me for this piece. Saves me energy searching for them" With this being said Rink strached and closed his eyes.

Jace Beleren
Kira was walking in a dark road lonely gazing at the stars then suddenly a strange letter flying in front of kira's face. Kira grab it and he started to read its contenet Dear Kira Yamato, You have been invited to a relic hunt. You and several others, I should say. Your goal (should you choose to accept the challenge): Find the ancient Haklion Temple hidden somewhere in the city of Harighnash. Now, the question that I know is lingering on your mind: What's in it for me? Treasure. All the treasure one could possibly imagine, and much more. The finder's fee alone could purchase a small island. Gold, jewels, ancient knowledge, more than one could think possible. There is one catch, however. There are more than just you. And they want the treasure just as badly as you do (and I know you do). Enclosed in this envelope is one of the Pieces of Regehlak, the ancient god of the Haklion people. Only the one who collects all of the Pieces may be granted entry into the Temple: and no other. But the Pieces may only be obtained from another by way of a Duel. (The Haklions managed to harness the power of the Shadows, as the Egyptians had many hundreds of years afterward.) If you are interested, I hope to see you in Harighnash in a week's time. (An airline ticket has also been enclosed. If you do not wish to be a part of the hunt, I understand completely. Simply send your Piece by return mail (and I will know if you don't.) Sincerely,Julien NakonenEntrepreneur "Hmm....intersting, lets see what the future holds for me" Kira said.

Jace Beleren
Kira sensed a strange presence comin from nearby, its like someone is watching him behind the shadows then he looked at the top of the building and he saw someone on the top of that building "who's there? show yourself." kira shouted. Kira entered the building and then he whispered to himself. "this should be interesting".

evilfusion
Iris was wandering around a small city. Whether or not this was the city of her destination or a different one was presently unknown, but she didn't care. The enthusiasm from her arrival had not dampened in the slightest and she was eager to explore the area a while longer before beginning her actual search. She just wished she had more precise instructions of what to do, but that wasn't going to drag her mood down. She stopped at a street vender to buy a piece of fruit. Being used to cross-continental travel, she had taken the liberty of exchanging a portion of her money so that she'd have proper spending money. As she walked away, munching her little snack, the vendor said something to her. She turned to look at him curiously and saw that he was pointing to an envelope that had been right by her arm when she was paying. Puzzled, she came nearer and saw that her name was on it. With a vague word of thanks, Iris picked up the envelope and walked away, opening it curiously. Upon reading the content of the letter inside, she frowned in thought. Now this...was interesting. Alordzynix
Rink saw a person entering the building and hear the guy shout to him: "who's there? show yourself."I have already located myself a second piece of this Regehlak, meaning he was one step closer to these great treasures. Rink walked up and sat down again across of the door looking threw his deck. Yet again all he had to do was waiting, which gave him time to prepare. Because his opponent would also have been invited to this treasure hunt, he surely should be a formidable opponent. "I will still beat the crap out of him". said Rink out loud to himself. Being lazy makes the opponent come to you, it is a trademark with no downsides. With this in his head Rink started looking at the door, until a person with a dueldisk would walk threw it. Jace Beleren
Kira rushed to the roof of the building then he stopped behind the door that leads to the roof and took a moment and he started to check on his deck, he added 1 card inside his deck and then he shuffled them and reinstalled them to his duel disk. "ok! this wont take long" Kira said calmly. then he opened the door and he saw Rink standing there waiting for Kira. "lemme guess, you'r after the treasure too?". Kira asked with a smirk on his face. then he activated his duel disk preparing to duel Rink."I can sense a great aura comin from this guy". Kira whispered to himself with enjoyment experession on his face.
Alordzynix
"Your guess is correct" said Rink while he activated his duel disk. "I hope you don't mind me going first" Rink drew is opening hand and looked at it then he drew 1 more card. "Al right let me introduce my self, my name is Rink Jones and like you said I am here for the treasure. I summon my "Affreux Guardian of Le Nid" (100/2200) in defence position. Then I will set 1 card face-down. "It is your turn good sir, but the purity of my bird deck will run you over. This duel will end with out me having even a single Bird monster in my Graveyard!" "i summon Breaker the magical warrior in attack mode" (1900ATK cause of the spell counter/1000DEF) then i activate his effect, by removing 1 spell counter from this card i can destroy 1 spell or trap card and i choose your face-down card then i set 1 card face-down and then i activate my field spell the secret village of spellcasters so you can't activate any spell cards as long this card remains on the field and with that i end my turn". Guest Lily
Lily was walking about the streets of the place in which she had arrived, until her piece started to react to a building that she had just walked in front of. "Hmmm... There's going to be a piece or 2 inside... I may as well start my search now. Maybe I'll get to duel, who knows?" Lily spoke to herself in a murmured voice, before she started to walk inside of the building in which she spoke of. Once inside, she soon heard voices coming from nearby, and so started to walk towards them. As she arrived at the voices, she hid behind something so she could watch the duel without being noticed. With that, her Duel Spirits arrived yet again behind her, their gauntlet fingers moving up and down as they stood. "One of those absolutely reek of sins, Miss Lily... Be careful..." The Red Gauntleted Figure spoke with a rather frail voice, before both figures disappeared completely. If one does, then I better be careful... For that mistake you will pay a big price. I release my "Affreux Guardian of Le Nid" to summon my "Ala Bellator" (2400/1000) in attack mode. By doing this my "Affreux Guardian of Le Nid" is removed from play so my graveyard stays pure. And because of the effect of my "Ala Bellator" your face-down card is returned to your hand.
