Kris wandered the realm of darkness for a little while, he felt like he was lost. Everything seemed different and he felt dizzy. He was unable to find Radiant garden for some reason, It seemed to have just disappeared. Instead he settled for the nearest world, Halloween town. He looked at himself, he had changed into a demon like thing. He felt wings on his back. [i[This could be a useful form.[/i] Kris thought. He walked along and saw some kind of lab. He looked through the window and saw Rob and Hadeus. Damn, I had to fight him didn't I! I could just walk in right now if I hadn't have fought him. Kris complained in his mind, Maybe he won't recognise me and I can't open another corridor, I'm exhausted. Then kris knocked on the door...

[Daxter]

While in the lab, Hadeus noticed that someone was knocking on the door. Hadeus walked over and opened it and saw Kris standing there. "Ok look, it's obvious that we can't trust you, you tried to kill me, so why don't you just turn around and go back to where ever it is you came from, I have bigger problems to worry about. I don't have time to fight some maniac who will be a threat to my misson." Hadeus was suprised that Kris had the guts to show his face again.

Joseph was wrestling with Aladdin when a small black creature came waddling up to them. It had a little antenna, small yellow eyes, and small arms and legs. They stopped what they were doing and stared at the strange creature. What is that? They both thought. Aladdin, being kind, thought the creature might be cold or hungry, so he stuck his hand out to it.

"Com'ere little buddy.... I wont hurt ya..." He smiled to reassure it.

Suddenly the creature jumped at Aladdin, trying to bite and claw him. As he yelled he fell back, only to find more of the creatures.

Joseph was scared as they surrounded him and Aladdin, now back to back. "What are they?" He whispered, not knowing if they could understand him.

Just as he finished this they sprang, attacking both of them. Aladdin and Joseph made a brave stand but nothing they did could hurt the creatures, so after a few minutes of fighting they dodged the remainder and ran out the door, searching for a safe haven. After a bit of running Joseph got his foot caught on something and he stumbled. When he looked down he saw his whole foot had fallen into a pool of darkness. Aladdin tried to help him up but couldnt free him.

"I'll come back with help!" He cried out as he left, running for the palace.

Joseph struggled against the darkness but he couldnt escape its grasp. Horrified and terrified at the same time, he realized it was pulling him in. Panic set over him as he screamed out names of people he knew. "ALADDIN!! ABU!!!! RAZOUL!!! SOMEBODY! Help me....." He started to cry, wondering if this was the end.

 

When Aladdin returned with a few palace guards the black creatures had disappeared and so had his longtime friend, Joseph.

Rob looked at the man, Kris. He didn't' know why Hadeus didn't trust him, but there were a lot of things that Rob couldn't understand right now. Like who this 'Oogie' character was. He turned to Hadeus. "Whoever he is, this guy may have changed...or something...and he may be on our side now. And I have a question about this world. What is Halloween? and who is Oogie?"

[Daxter]

Hadeus looked at Rob, "Are you serious? Don't you remeber him attacking us? Or did that just skip your mind? Anyways, Halloween is a holiday that is celebrated here, the local residents go around and scare as many people as they can. Oogie, is a disgusting excuse of a creature, he is just a bag of bugs (literally) and he tries to ruin Halloween all the time. Seems this time he might do it..."

Rob thought back. "Ya know what...I do remember him." Then he thought about the whole 'might do it' bit, and growled. "No matter what, no one is going to ruin any holiday, life, or anything else while I'm alive. I say we should go confront this Oogie guy." He pulled out his blades to show that he meant business.

[Daxter]

"Ok well it's not that simple...Oogie basically will have an army of Langerlites, a fortress, and there is almost no way for us to get in..."

Hadeus was looking like he was giving up hope, there it was if a light bulb went off. "Jack! Can you get Boogies Boys here?!" Jacks face lit up. "Great idea, I'll return in a moment." Jack ran off.

Now Rob was really confused. Boogies Boys? It seemed that Hadeus was just spitting out a whole stream of utter nonsense. He looked at Hadeus, ready to ask yet another question. "Would you please tell me who these Boogie Boys are, and how they are going to help us get into Oogie's supposed fortress?"

[Daxter]

Hadeus chuckled. "Haha well Boogies Boys, they are 3 tricksters from Halloween Town. Shock, Lock, and Barrell. They used to work for Oogie, but they decided to stay with us on this side of Halloween Town. But they would know a way into Oogies fortress. So they are going to help us get in, but once inside we are on our own." Hadeus was a little worried. "We might not make it out..."

Joseph woke up in a strange room only lit by the stained glass he stood upon. There were pictures of his face, Aladdin's, Abu's, and a strange womans together with a blue mist trailing from what looked like a genie. He couldn't see anything beyond his platform, it being completely dark. Wondering where the hell he was, he looked around a bit, when suddenly he heard a voice. Even in pitch darkness, there is always light.

"Who's there?" He called out, but recieved no answer.

Rob looked at Hadeus, a fierce determination entering his eyes. He growled, and said, "Of course we'll make it out. Between our special powers, our skills with swords, and our intelligence combined, I'll bet this Oogie doesn't stand a chance." He wondered if Hadeus would believe him. He wasn't even sure he believed himself. He was sure he did, however.

[Daxter]

A weak smile came across Hadeus's face. "Right!" Hadeus was sitting waiting for Jack to return with the boogie boys. "Well, I guess it's time for some explaining...I never got to tell you why I snapped like that back at Beats Castle..." Hadeus began to pace, he only told people he truley trusted this story. "Ok well I used to be part of a group of people known as the Canba Warriors, they were outcasts in a world known as Traverse Town. The canba warriors were able to manipulate and rule the heartless. Then they tried experimenting...thats where I came in. They wanted to combine me with a heartless to see if it was possible to make a true Heartless Soldier. One of limitless strength, one of absolute darkness....halfway threw the trials, something went wrong. The heartless tried to take over me instead of combine with me. They stopped the tests and now part of the heartless recides in me. Sometimes when I get angry, he feeds on the anger and tries to take over...If he could take over, it could kill me." Hadeus went silent.

Kris walked off, surprised that Hadeus recognised him in this form. It'll be because it's his home world, he's used to these forms. Kris decided. Before he left he had heard them talking about someone, or Something, called Oogie Boogie, so he asked around town. He went into one of the many graveyards just outside of town and went across a brdge lik thing. He arrive infront of a huge rundown old castle. NBow, shall I go in or wait out here for the others? Kris asked himself.

Joseph wandered around, walking along the corridors that opened up before him. As he walked words sounded in his head, though they came from no visible source.

The greater the light, the greater the darkness within.

Light and dark, which is your path?

Can a thief walk in the darkness with a light heart?

While some of the things said seemed to be directed at him, others seemed rather random and off putting. He came across several platforms, depicting different people and places he had never seen. While marveling at the wonderful detail in one stained glass picture, three weapons appeared before him, a staff, a shield, and a sword.

[Daxter]

Jack came bursting in the door with 3 little children. One was short and fat, the other was short and skinny, and so was the third. "Shock Lock Barrel! At your service" They all said at once. "Ok you three, we need a way into Oogies Manor. Can you get us in?"

The 3 laughed. "Of course Hadeus, anything for you. Now when you go in through the graveyard, there will be a small stram of water going through. Somewhere in there will be a grate. If you lift it out, it will send you all the way to Oogies basement. From there, your on your own." Hadeus began to walk out. "We'll be back in a bit Jack. Keep everyone safe." Jack nodded as they Hadeus left.

Rob followed Hadeus. "Are you sure we can trust those little...things? They seem so odd, and they don't even look creepy like everyone else here." He paused. "Uh...sorry." He continued walking, and pulled out his blades. "Whatever happened, he would be ready for action, and for fighting.

[Daxter]

"Well I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them, but what choice do we have." Hadeus went in through the graveyard and crossed over a spiral hill top. Once on the other side, he noticed Oogies Manor. "Well lets go." He jumped down and began walking to the water stream and began to look for the grate.

(anyone want to play the heartless i fight at the end of the awakening, once he gets his keyblade?)

While Joseph watched the weapons for malicious intent he is told he must take one and give up one. Being a street brawler, Joseph takes the sword and gives up the shield. With sword in hand he progresses to the next station, where he is attacked by small creatures.

Heartless the voice whispers. Joseph notices he can hurt them now and he viciously strikes them until they vanish.

[Magnet Soldier]

Kris noticed a sound behind him, like a grate or manhole opening. He ran to where the sound was and saw Hadeus go down a hole before closing the grate after him. Must be a secret entrance, much better than the front door. But if I want to help them I'll just hafta distract this Oogie Boogie by going through the front door. Kris thought, running back over to the front door. He had made his mind up and walked through, after all, how scary could this guy be? He'd probably seen worse.

[Daxter]

"There it is!" Hadeus called out. He ran over to the grate and ripped it out of the ground. "Alright, lets do it." Hadeus jumped down in through the grate. He landed in a dark room, it was lit up with pictures of bright bugs. They were spinning around. It was very creepy to see. Hadeus notcied a door and began to walk towards it. The darkness was begining to creep him out. But he knew what to expect when he came here.
