Zach couldn't help but notice a group of people. "Huh...I wonder if they were passengers on my flight?" He walked over, gripping his pocket knife just incase. "Uh...Hello...is anyone who can help me over there?" He almost tripped out of excitement and accidently stabbed himself in the leg. But he just poked it. "OUCH!" He bit his lip and a tear fell down his cheeck. "Ou..Ou..Oucccch!"

After introducing himself, Daisuke went to find Light. He found him farther along the shore, sitting alone. Daisuke walked up to him. "Hey, Light, is it? I'm Daisuke. I thought you might have need of an intelligent conversation." Kazeingu perched on Daisuke's shoulder chirping.

"Are you OK? I need every man in top shape if we plan on surviving." Herit turned to let the others take care of this newcomer. He walked over to Luna, who was now climbing the tree to get the bananas. "here" Herit offered his help, which Luna gladly accepted as she slid to the ground. Herit was up the tree in a flash, and the bananas were on the ground before Luna knew it.

Zach nodded. "Yeah im fine. It's just a poke." It was bleeding though. But not too bad. He sighed. "What're your guy's names. And how'd you get stranded here...wherever we are." He looked at his class ring. "Hopefully we get off in time. I wanna finish High School." He looked at the engraving on the inside. "Class of 2013...hopefully."

Herit dropped to the ground with a mild thump. He picked up the bananas and walked back to the group. "The name's Herit Shun, and that's my wife, Luna. I have food, but we should conserve it. We never know when we'll find more." Herit dropped the bananas on the ground. "We should all introduce ourselves. It'll help us communicate."

Zach nodded. "My name's Zach...Zachary Paul Jones. I was on my way to go to my dad's house....this is just bogus." Zach took a banana. "I hate bananas..." He threw it back into the pile. "But...I don't want to starve." He reached into his back pocket and took out a smushed and melted Nutty Bar. "You guys want some. Hahaha"

Jack heard the voice of another boy, who hadn't been there last he knew, he turned.

"Oh, hey. Name's Jack, I don't know most of these guys names, but the guy over there with the splint, that's Clayrens, and down by the shore are my sister Jaymi, and Clayrens' friend Tori. You were just talking to Herit, who seems to fancy himself the boss. I'm not too sure, but I think our plane was struck by lightning, we landed a good way out of here, we had to swim to the island it's self."

Jack took a deep breath.

"Now everyone, clearly Herit knows what he's doing but honestly, I think if we're gonna survive, we'll need to be democratic about it, we all have skills and we all know different things, which is why it would be best for us all to have imput, so I say we need to take votes on what we do. for example, I say if we find fruit, we keep it on the tree, that way it doesn't go off as quickly and we can't loose it.

Who's with me!"

-Meanwhile-

Jaymi heard her brother, she was proud of him, Jack was a born leader in her oppinion, she slowly got up from the hot sand and shot a smile to Tory.

"Thanks" she said more happy now as she began to walk over to the group.

"I am bro!"

"I have experience in this area. Trust me. I don't want to lead though. I've never been good at public speaking. Nice to meet ya, Jack. I hope you don't think I'm cocky or anything." Herit knew just how important first impressions where. "I do think see an excellent spot to sit in the distance." said Luna. She quietly walked off after that.

Zach shrugged. "I guess that's a good idea...but it won't be gathered, and each time we'd need food, we'd have to climb a tree, look in the forest, or pick out of the ground. I vote we gather food. And then somehow, place it somewhere where it won't blow away." He started digging a hole in the hot sand. "Like a giant hole!"

Clayrens winced, his leg painful even in the splint. "Sorry, but I don't think a hole in sand would be much of a good idea. If we put the food in it, it will just get coated in sand, and sand would make us thirsty, and as far as I know, right now our only source of water is the ocean, which we can't drink. I think the first thing we should do is either find, or build some type of water source."

----------

Tori got up out of the sand and followed Jaymi back to the group. She heard the tail end of Clayrens's little speech, and said, "I agree. Our first priority should be water."

"Water is the first thing we should look for. Humans can only survive about two days without it. I suggest, before that, that we walk one time round the island, so that we know the terrain. I'll go. Anyone else who wants to come can." Herit had decided quite quickly that they needed an idea of what they had to deal with before they could truly grasp the scope of their problems.

Zach hopped up from a log he was sitting on. He had made a bandage out of leaves and put it on his small wound. "I'll go with you. I have nothing else better to do...actually no one does. We're stuck on an island for god's sake!" He walked over to Herit. "So i suggest we go now, before it gets dark."

Clayrens limped over to Herit. "I'm going. I don't care what any of you has to say about my health, or any crap like that. I need to know the terrain of the land I'll be living on for a while." Tori walked up behind him.

"I want to come too, if only to make sure Clayrens is okay." She grinned at him, and he grinned back.

"Okay, guys, my sister and I were expecting we'd need it where we were going, so we've got a flashlight here, I'm pretty sure it still works, we'll be able to look around in the dark."

"And" Jaymi added "my Cell phone still works, it has no reception, but the flashlight function should help us.

"Basically, we'll be able to look around in the dark. Clayrens, are you sure you're up for it? This could get dangerous, what if we need to run from somthing?"

"Yeah Jaymi, I should be fine. If not, I'll call out, and we may need to just stop and rest for a minute. My leg's not even that bad anymore," Clayrens said putting a little weight on his foot. He winced, but only slightly.

"If he can't make it, I'll...do something to let you guys know that we are slowing down or stopping, kay?" Tori put in her opinion.

"No, you shouldn't worry about me," Clayrens said.

"Yes, I should and I will," Tori responded. "Like I said, I'll do something to get your guys' attention if we need to rest."

Herit was the first to turn the corner, leaving the others out of his sight. He saw that the beached continued for quite a way, before starting rise, forming a cliff. This was all he could see, except that the forest continued here, and all the way down to the edges of his view.

There is nothing-" Herit started to say, but then he saw something that did catch his attention; a small glint in the distance, possibly just a shiny rock. Herit started jogging to get to it and see what it could possibly be.

Clayrens heard Herit, but he didn't finish. Thinking he might be in trouble, he pushed Tori away, and limped as fast as he could toward Herit. When he turned the corner, he saw Herit running toward something. "Herit!" he called. "We have to stick together! Get back here!"

-----

Tori looked at the others. She wondered where Herit and Clayrens had gone. "We should probably go after them to make sure they don't get lost," she said to the others.

Jack quickly sprinted around the corner having heard Herit's yellm he saw him running and powered past the others, his strong athletic build comming to play, he wasn't fast enough to catch Herit, but he was fast enough to be there straight away if needed, he had the flaregun from the plane, in the back his mind he was wondering how a flare to the face would effect a savage native, or a ferocious monster.

-Meawhile-

Jaymi ran after her brother, she was considerably slower and would be among the least athletic people there, she was athsmatic and used to living the good life, she clutched her inhaler for fear of dropping it. Quickly she ran out of breath, but she wasn't stopping, even if it meant an Athsma attack. she ran along the sand kicking sand up behind her, and splashing as the ocasional wave met her feet.
