In terms of graphics' date=' I go with the Ps3. Why? It's just better. Normally, I would have a fact or two about this, but this is just sheer opinion. I've played both systems quite a lot, and I prefer the Ps3's graphics. Maybe it was the resolution, hell do I know.

The graphics are EXACTLY the same, the same resolution to. Some PS3 exclusives such as Metal Gear Solid (WHICH IS COMING TO 360 BABY! =D) might have great graphics but the PS3 has exactly the same graphics as the 360. On some games that are available for both consoles the 360 has more colour, and the PS3 has slightly sharper graphics. You can barely notice the difference on either. What might make a difference, is a HDMI cable, which is what I use on both 360 and PS3 and it makes a huge difference to both consoles overall on my HDTV.

 

As for the rest of your post, I agree. The 360 has more options and a huge DLC library, but that's about it. Not any difference in terms of people or lag between the consoles.

 

Odd, I found the Ps3 graphics better. But that's just me I suppose.

 

Not hating on the 360 ether, I play it quite a bit at my friend's house. =/

I own an Xbox 360 and my uncles own the other 2 next gen consoles. We've pitted the PS3 against the 360 to see which one has better graphics on 2 TVs next to each other (the TVs are both the same brand a freakin Toshiba). For certain games the graphics are pretty much the same, the only difference that you can barely tell is the slightly sharper imaging and a bit more texture on the PS3's graphics when compared with a 360's graphics. The two overall doesn't vary much in graphics. The online now that's a different story. On the 360 you can find around 10 Unranked matches with Soul Caliber IV whilst the PS3 will find around 4 Unranked matches to play on. Call of Duty WAW on the 360 has a gigantic community and is pretty consistent with load speed and run speed for that but the only thing that sucks is the big amounts of trash talkers. Call of Duty WAW for the PS3 is almost the same but at points you'll somewhat lag badly and during certain games you'll be at a decent connection but not good enough to keep it running smoothly and it seems to have more of a soft community than that of the 360's community of players. So no doubt hands down the 360 wins for online play. So far, the 360 has a wider variety of games for play whereas the games for the PS3 have less games but the available ones are mainly focused around RPGs and lacks some online games. 360 wins with wider variety of games hands down. The only thing I wish the 360 would have is the net surfing, which the PS3 has. Regardless though, the net surfing for the PS3 could be better in my opinion because it runs fairly quick but not like a computer quick. That's all I got to put on regarding the comparisons between the 360 and the PS3 unless I call my uncles up and we go back to comparing the 2 consoles again.

I, for one, could care less about the people who hate one console or another. Personally, I prefer the PS3, but that's just because I like the look of the system more than the 360.
