Pokemon Learn Attacks by Eating CD'sTMs

The TM animation from FireRed/LeafGreen[/subject]

No. We tie the Pokémon down and cram the disc into it. TUH DUH! It learned how to use a new move because of the trauma it went though.

On a slightly related topic: If I were a Pokémon, I would refuse to eat a Max Revive.

I hate to say this, but you're an idiot. You're seriously giving up all those extra stats to get Flamethrower 3 levels early? And Cross Chop is only 6 levels early. The stats are MUCH more valuble than getting them a couple levels early.

Depends' date=' Charmander does fine with it, And your team definately needs more MANLYKARP!

but still, I'd say forget cross chop and buy Brick Break from the Celadon store, it's more Accurate and has More PP in story mode, More PP is good, especially when your not near a center.

I'm going to dropkick you if you're siding with him on the Flamethrower thing. All he's doing is missing out on making his Charizard stronger by getting Flamethrower THREE levels early.

And yes, I already suggested more floundering fish.

Side-note: The majority of my ingame moves are TMs.

I told you I'm fishing a LV15 + One later...

And I can't see how getting Charmeleon at LV 32 then Charizard at LV 36 as Usual Would make him Weaker....Ever since My charmander has Good Stats right now.....and inb4iplayforthelulz

Anyways I thing My team will be something like

Charizard (Fly)

Gyarados (Surf and Shizz)

Raichu

An Ice Pokemon

A Steel Pokemon/or A Rhydon

A Dragonite/or any filler Pokemon

A Charmeleon's stat gain is far higher than a Charmander's stat gain. A Charmander will be gaining 0s, 1s, and 2s. Charmeleons will be gaining 2s, 3s, and 4s.

That's the entire point of evolution.

Really evolution doesn't matter what level, as the stats will be the same in the end if he evolved at 34 then 36 or 18 then 40, the stats will be the same, look at the flygon line for example, Trapinch Loses ATK power upon evolution, then vibrava gains it back when it evolves into Flygon, but even if I wait until Lv. 44 to evolve Trapinch, the stats will still drop to what they would have been had it evolved at Lv 35 and leveled up till 44. Most people I know think, Oh If I train my scyther to Lv.100 then evolve it it won't lose speed as a scizor, or If I wait until the last minute to evolve my Trapinch it won't lose as much ATK as normal, the sad truth is it will, so early/late evolution mean nothing when looking at stat gains and such as they will be the same as if you had/hadn't done it in the first place.

Wouldn't the stats just grow slower as there is no such thing as negative stat gain? That 30 point base stat loss is crazy, though.

metalflygon08, you're wrong. Comparing Trapinch, or any non-starter, is completely unrelated to a starter. When it comes to starters, their base stat goes up. Never down. Simple as that. But the higher form it's in, the more stats it gains. Would you rather be gaining 0s, 1s, and 2s all game in addition to the base stats or would you rather be gaining 3s, 4s, and 5s in addition to the base stat?
