[spoiler=part 1 - Into the Unknown]

"Let's see....Twenty pokeballs; check. Three Max Revives; check. Five Full Heals; check. Three Full Restores; check,” said Norm as he shuffled through his bag. Hmmm…Maybe I should bring that experimental pokeball that professor Reid’s cousin was working on, he thought. “Crap,” he shouted out-loud as a thought surged through his head, “I gotta get to Professor Reid’s lab!”

Norm grabbed his bag and charged out of the front door without even the slightest thought of telling his mother goodbye. He didn’t truly need to, after all, he was fifteen. Norm rushed through the grass. Suddenly, he was assaulted by a wild Delcatty.

“Grrr-Oh, come on! I do not have the time for this,” Norm yelled as if there was some hope that the pokemon would understand him. “PuffDaddeh, get this over with quick, please,” he shouted as he sent out his Jigglypuff. “Use Sing, and then lay it on hard with Pound!” His ever-so-loyal Jigglypuff followed orders; putting the wild Delcatty into a deep slumber with sing, and then landing a hard blow to the creature’s head with Pound. “Good, we’ve almost got ‘em, now just end this with another Pound!” The Jigglypuff followed through again and incapacitated the wild Delcatty.

“Ah, I see you made it, Norm, and in the knick of time,” said Professor Reid as Norm rushed through the door, out of breath.

“It would only be my luck that I would run into every possible wild pokemon in Esta Town, ‘eh?”

“That sounds about like you, now, lets on the truck and hurry on with this expedition. We have no time to spare.”

They loaded the truck up with all possible needs and headed off into the unknown. Man, to think that I’ll be one of the first people to lay eyes on this new region, thought Norm. It’s all so exciting, so, fresh.

These were Norm’s final thoughts as he drifted off to sleep. His dream was extremely odd, a Pichu and an Igglybuff were speaking to him, in a language that humans and pokemon alike could understand.

This dream was rudely awakened by the sound of a loud crash, and an engine hissing. Norm quickly jumped out of the back of the truck, as did Professor Reid from the driver’s cab.

“What did we hit,” asked Norm as he fixed his spiked white hair and waved smoke from his face.

“It’s…an Electrode. But what it’s doing in the middle of the road is a mystery to me.”

“We should help it right away!”

“I’m sorry, but we just can’t do that. We lack the resources. If we help out this Electrode, who knows; we may not be able to help out our own pokemon during the expedition.”

“So, what, we just leave it here to die!”

The professor quickly commented back. Suddenly, the Electrode awoke from its trauma-induced slumber.

“Trode!!!”

“Oh, God no,” Norm shouted as he realized what the electrode was ready to do.

There was a final murmur from the Electrode, and then an eruption of noise. The Electrode had combusted not nearly four feet away from where Reid and Norm stand. The both of them let out final gasps as they embraced their eternal slumbers, and then, there was nothing.

Good? Feel free to criticize as much as you like.

Hey X-L' date=' can you change the affiliates to this, http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/thread-181323.html ?

@Zombie: It's pretty good, but you should make it longer. ;D

[/quote']

It's the first installment. There will be longer parts when it gets deeper into the story. The next one will probably be longer, as that one has much more substance to it. I find it pretty funny that i just killed leo in the first installment.

I think it's fine to use Kabutops.

Grass.

His Charizard says hi.

Rock.

Back to Kabutops.

Could have sworn Kabutops was already taken out by the Grass.

Armadillozz! You totally ignored my awesome post! Charmander is displeased.

Your fan-fic isn't really all that good. Nothing about it draws the reader in.

his team is actually switching between Lairon Sudowoodo and Aggron' date=' and Sudowoodo, Rhydon, and Aggron, since he is the 7th Gym I don't wanna OP him.

[/quote']

You should at least make him put up a fight. 3 Poke'mon at the 7th Gym seems like not nearly enough.

they are awfully high leveled' date=' i might give him a rhyhorn and a sudowoodoo too.

Wouldnt the level of the gym be "fair" to what sort of Pokemon the trainer has by then?

The 7th gym usually has Pokemon that are around 40-ish.

*Missed that*

*Might go check it out later*

It has 2 trainers, one with a Macargo, lv 45, and an Onix Lv. 48, the other has a Lv. 50 Rhydon.

as it stands atm the leader's pokemon team is this

Lairon Lv. 47 Metal Sound, Iron Defense, Rock Slide, Double-Edge

Golem Lv. 50 Rock Slide, Earthquake, Explosion, Mega Punch

Aggron Lv. 53 Iron Tail, Earthquake, Double-Edge, Rock Slide.

in game you should naturally with no grinding be around Lv. 46 for a team of 6, or almost 60 for a team of one or 2. I've pumped up the levels and such, for instance on the first route, Starstruck Canyon, you can run into Lv. 6 pokemon, and Lv. 4 and 5's are more common.

shortly after your first badge you face the First La Costa Executive, Lenny, with a NidoKing(lv 17), Cloyster(Lv 14), and Shiftry(lv 18 ), he uses Pokemon that evolve via stone, while the other Ex. uses Standalones, and the Leader uses Trade evos, The BTBz leader uses pokemon that represents buisness, Umbreon, Slaking, Gyrados, and Tuaros.
