zombiepromking
I forgot about smogon. Hey, guiz, i may actually be starting a pokemon fan-fic; i've given it some pretty hard thought, and its probably the most original pokemon story-line i've seen. But i do fear it may feel too farfetch'd. I'll probably exclusively post a few rough chapters on here and revise it accordingly.

BulletMan
You know, I once had a terrible pokemon idea/plot, which involved a guy that sorta looked like me, and a taking Crobat O,O (The 15 year old guy is quite smart, but serious. Crobat is a looney toon, and has a Jolly nature.) They have a bunch of mini adventures, mainly a comedy, with Crobat being super funny. And at times walks on his two hind wings or justs floats instead of flaps to stay in midair. It's lulzy. But then I actually tried to make a good plot, and it turned into some crazy adventure searching for the missing Green Orb (kinda like the Red/Blue Orb that had to do with Kyogre and Groudon), and then they have to go to the Sky Pillar, where a guarding city near the ocean is, because TR(not Jesse and James, but like advance agents and Giovani, stole it and plans on capturing Raquaza, but the disturbance causes Kyogre and Groudon to battle, so even after TR is defeated by a mishap, the situation becomes a Global Weather Disaster. The Orb is needed so Raquaza can calm the situation, so our Hero has to retrieve it from the Pillar, which is where the battle is taking place. He gets it, Raquaza calms them, and they live for, like, wut? another week. xD But yeah, good idea. Plot?

Dream
Haven't really played Poke'mon in a while. But I'm going to Action Replay my Platinum (since I keep getting bored and reseting it for some reason) and play through with a fun-ish team. Would anyone like to help me pick a good team? Any Poke'mon goes. As long as it will be useful playing through. Sorta rules thingies:All suggested Poke'mon will be counted as their last stage and I'm reserving 2 spots for a Bibarrel and a Starly to use as HM slaves. SmeargleDitto They are fun as hell. cerberus21
I went with Kabutops because he's also part Rock, and that's one of my favorite types. I'm a little leery about it, though, because Tyranitar is also Rock, so they'll have the same weaknesses...

cerberus21
Which brings us back to me dropping Steelix for Lapras? Would Poliwrath work instead of Lapras? My Lapras is still pretty low level, while Poliwrath is in the sixties.

zombiepromking
I forgot about smogon. Hey' date=' guiz, i may actually be starting a pokemon fan-fic; i've given it some pretty hard thought, and its probably the most original pokemon story-line i've seen. But i do fear it may feel too [b']farfetch'd[/b]. I'll probably exclusively post a few rough chapters on here and revise it accordingly. Sounds good. ;D Mind posting the plot? A semi-experienced trainer ventures out with your generic free pokedex professor to a currently uncharted region. The region, itself is fairly diverse. The trainer is injured in the adventure and finds himself and the professor being tended to by a pichu an igglybuff and a chansey. The pokemon in the region are charged with an energy from concentrated deposits of the different evolution stones, which alows certain pokemon to telekinetically communicate with humans; though, the pokemon do have a universal language due to the fact that they had been left to their own for so long, it cannot be understood by humans through normal means of learning a language. There is a terrorist organization bent on harvesting these resources and capturing some of the more notable charged pokemon. The professor venture the undiscovered area, learn about the different ways the pokemon's cultures are in the different areas and, when called for, fights off the terrorist organization. A couple of things i will say: The concentrated stone energy can cause new evolutions to occur within pokemon that are the correct type to be affected by them. The trainer starts out with a Togekiss, and a Jigglypuff, a shiny heracross from the group that saved the trainer and his professor shortly joins the trainer's team. Sound good? metalflygon08
speaking on fan-fics, I'm working on a hack of Fire Red right now, It's my first hack so nothing impressive, but all the way up to what was Bill's house is redone. Brief synopisy thing Long aga the Ontek region was nothing more than a large lush meadow like island, but a meteor struck the western side gouging out a canyon and raising mountains, the meteor brought rich nutrients that caused the nature in the western half to florish greatly, the collision also cuased major amounts of minerals to sprout on the eastern side. today, You are a young persorn, but are applying to be an aide to Prof. Cedar the local prof. you are introduced to your rival, the Prof's first assistant, and the first task is for both of you to go up through starstruck canyon to Floral Cove to pick up a package for the Prof. he gives you both a pokemon for the journy, your rival wants to battle to get the feel of it, afterwards he is so pumped he leaves for the sanctuary past the cove by mistake, you return from the cove after you leave to find out the packages were actually Pokedex! you each get one and Cedar's goal is to find out why pokemon interact the way they do. The evil group is actually kinda split at the same time as being 1, the western half over the centuries has grown up industrious due to all the minerals, now the western side is nothing but Big buisness, all monopolized by BigTimeBiz(BTBz) polluting the air and ruining pokemon habitats, and it's slowly making it's way to the eastern side. BTBz employs a group called La Costa to provide security and labor(think like a mafia-deal) LC gets in the way most of the time with a few BTBz employees here and there. a rough map you start in the town above the hot springs the Leaders and Main charecters are based off of the charecters in the Pokemon TCG for Gameboy gym leaders are just edits and so are the gang of evil atm what I need is ideas on progressing story line since a Buisness monopoly is boring, you only act because they try tearing down the natural wonders on this side of the bay.
