Aximil
I don't see why you're saying that Dark Vileplume is so good. There are several cards that are better than it in todays cards.

And if you're talking about the damaging the bench, there are tons of Poke'mon that hit everything your opponent has. EDIT: Dialga G Lv.X is normally run in an only SP deck so you're Poke'powers are uneffected by this.

But Dark Vileplume can lose it's Poke'Power after one attack. Dialga G Lv.X keeps it. Plus, there are probably others that do what they do but better. But I don't know about them since I haven't seen many of the newer cards.
-Lightray Daedalus-
That why you keep it in the Bench ANyways....I was seeing the SP pokes and I liked them so I made this,,,,, Pokemon 213 x Weavile G3 x Milotic C3 x Skarmory FB2 x Lickilicky C3 x Aerodactyl GL2 x Lucario C2 x Lucario GL2 x Regigigas FB Trainers 21 ? But I'm a fast learner so I'm getting the hang of all the new stuffs and tactics. By the way, a good Poke'mon deck only runs about 9 to 12 energies. And yea, there are other Pokemon with an ability like Dark Vileplume, but you have to look at it from the viewpoint in the meta that it was used in. At the time, it was like the same as DAD. Heck, even it bieng on the Bench was a massive issue, since you couldnt even use Gust of Wind on it. And most Pokemon with a Gust of Wind move, would either have a weakness of Electricity or Grass. Dialga G Lv.X and Garchomp C are the most ran SPs.Dialga is epic, and Garchomp, I swear, is one of the popular Pokemon in existance. By the way' date=' a good Poke'mon deck only runs about 9 to 12 energies.[/quote']Duah.Base Set through Fossil proves this. You only need like 12 energies, since you can search/draw into them with cards like Energy Search/Bill/Prof.Oak/etc. Using like 15 to 20 is just over-killing, and results in dead draws. The origional Bill card isnt a dead draw. The new "balanced" Supporter version of Bill, IS a dead draw.

But that's not why it's used. It's ran because of it's Earthquake move (which does 50 damage and then 10 damage to all the opponent's benched Poke'mon.) And then because of it's Lv.X form. Which completely heals all of your SP Poke'mon just by being brought out along with being able to hit anything, including on the opponent's bench, for 80 damage.3. Well, the decks I'm seeing in here have much more than just 9-12 energies. And by the way, the new version of Bill is Mom's Kindness. Which does the very same thing. "Draw 2 cards."
