I thought someone was doing a rough draft of the quote.

Guys' date=' we can only make offical 'Purple' cards, if we have a good LV.X concept going.

It cant be anything like: "You can pay [blah'] to increase [blah] by [blah]", it has to be an interesting game mechanic that is remniscent of LV.X evoloutions.

......We could just make it, where to evolve something into a LV.X, it would use your normal summon for the turn. Since it would be similar to the gemini concept, but also allow for more interesting spell/trap support. And then we could also say, you cant evolve something the turn you Summon it. That way, we can also word our spell/traps to work around that.

How about that?

...but then, not only could one draw a parallel to the PKMN TCG's mechanics (something he wanted to avoid), but it would be a copy of Geminis, except not.

Well then' date=' come up with a better idea.

I dunno what to do with it. Every idea is either too slow, or a rip-off of an existing mechanic in either game. For instance, I could make it so they would need something like the PKMN card "Level MAX" to Purple Summon, but then that would be /Assault Modes. I could make them work after a certain amount of card have been played, but then Silent Swordsman says hi.

I still like the idea of meeting requirements to get an additional star and then being able to level it up once it has a certain amount of stars.

LOLz, what if it required you to have 1/2 of your opponent's LP or less? That could end up being funny.

Honestly, that would be a shitty effect. Have to be losing to add a star. >_>

I meant, just bypass everything and Purple Summon once you have 1/2 their LP or less...

Something like this?

A Poke'mons True Strength

Normal Spell

You can only activate this card while your Life Points are less than half of your opponent's Life Points. Select one Poke'mon monster you control. Purple Summon the appropiate Poke'mon.

I wasn't sure how to word it.

Assault Mode = LV.X

"LV" monsters = level-up preocess of Pokemon.

........How we cant possibly "rip-off" Pokemanz TCG anymore then Yugimonz did' date=' I'm not really sure.

I might just say "screw it" and just decide the idea of 'Purple' cards to be discontinued until later on.

[/quote']

Placing them ontop of the other card is a new and good idea. But we just need to come up with a way to get them to change that's not exactly like LV monsters.

[/quote']

Which one do you want?

Dunno, I'm just not feeling very Nidoking-ish anymore :/

Apperantly Shadow Lugia counts as a purple. >_>

Its still purple.

I know that. But I didn't use to know that. I thought it was black.
