ihop
Get rid of the rule which states that you can only make a contest at 3 stra and above. Most people ignore it, the people who don't ignore it normally know how to make a good contest, and I've seen about 3 perfect contests last week held by 1 and 2 stars. JG.
I agree, and the few that do make bad contests, warn them. Simple as that. And before mods say it's too much work, it's like 1 or 2 contests a day, at most.
KuroKibo
Agree. Those new members who has the ability to make perfect cards won't have to wait until 3 stars or above. That'll be a long time.

.:Mimi:.
Agreed. I would definately want to make a contest if I had enough points, and I do know that the contest wouldn't be like the ones that say "Make a good card". Support. Brushfire
As this thread has already been posted, and Muluck provided brilliant reasoning I'll support this once again, even if I don't go to CC and haven't for like, almost 2 years. General Assclown
Support. So many new YCMers are underestimated these days. All they need is a push in the right direction and they will get on track. To be honest, not every noob is a noob. Some of them shine, some of them don't. Alot of new YCMers leave this site immediately after their first card. Why? Because some people here forget they are new and rage at them as if they were the most experienced member here doing something wrong. However, this suggestion also has a downfall. Let's pretend this "rule" is a wall guarding a treasure (Card contests) and there's alot of people (newbs) standing outside that wall, trying to come in. If that wall breaks, imagine the flood of people rushing at the treasure. In other words, if the newbs are allowed to host a contest, almost every single one of them will take advantage of this and host as many contests as possibleSome of them will "forget" to read the rules, no doubt. CrabHelmet
Three stars is, what, a hundred posts? Anyone with the intelligence and patience needed to run a successful contest can surely reach that mark in no time at all.

This logic fails.
