VX suddenly remembered that Clare WAS her Duel Monster Spirit.

Kris watched as Clare was wrapped in yet more black ribbons and had seen that VX looked worried. Oh funk! Kris thought, Clare's her duel monster spirit. That means no gattai. Kris was trying to think of a plan but to no avail. I guess she'll just have to try and hope for the best. Kris decided.

 

EDIT: OOC: Can I please give my character another deck later on for him to use when he wants to keep himself hidden or when he's facing weak duelists?

"OKay I guess we gotta duel, but please can you at least search the building? I don't want any uninvited guests here to see this." Chortez then walked outside the door and guestured to VX to go outside like she wished. "Pfft, I don't understand you Reisistance people, you're clearly at the disadvantage yet you still keep on battling." When they reached the outside of the hotel Chortez pressed another button on his duel disk, allowing it to actually be used as one. "Ladies first no?"

Kris followed The two duelists with Raki close by. He made sure neither of them were seen. He walked slowly, looking for a hiding place after each corner. Once they got outside he and Raki hid behind a dumpster. We are behind the dumpster to your left, don't look round. Give us the signal when you want us to come out. Kris said telepathically. He was worried he might have to gag Raki as it looked like he was going to run out and hit Chortez.

"I don't think so. We know where they are already, so we don't need to kill them yet."

She then turned to where Raki and Kris were hiding.

"Isn't that right, Raki? Kris? I can hear you breathing, you know. You might want to be a bit quieter in that dumpster over there..."

 

VX was now on the top of the parking deck, facing Chortez.

"So, who's going to go first?"

Damn, How the hell did they hear me? Kris asked himself. He nodded to VX and told Raki to drop the knife Raki had hold of. Kris also dropped his knife. "Now, what are you going to do with us?" Kris asked Riful. he leaned against a wall waiting for the reply. He also asked VX telepathically, How did they find me, I was as quiet as I could? He was diisturbed that they could hear his breathing from that distance away, it was as if they had the smelling power of a bloodhound. Also their glare was weird, luckily his eyes were covered with shades so the eyes were blurred.

OoC: I have no idea of where you guys are, so Cyrus about to pop out of nowhere at the place where VX and Chortez is at.

 

Cyrus finally found VX about to face Chortez.

"Huh, I think I saw you at the Kaiba Dome!" Cyrus said as he saw Chortez.

Yea, great advice, Drill.

"Fine then!" VX cried. "If you want me to go first, I will!"

"I draw, and I Normal Summon Silver Slayer - Tabitha the Observant in Defense Mode!"

A skinny Silver Slayer looked around the room with eagle eyes, then whipped her sword in front of her to protect her. (2000 DEF)

"I Set 3 face-down cards, and I end my turn!"

"Huh, That card was used to defeat me if i'm correct Xandra, good move." Kris said to VX. He watched closely at Chortez's expression but he seemed to have none. So kris turned his attention to the two corrupted slayers. They probably think i'm weak, Kris thought, When actually I was about to beat their boss Pricilla, I just got distracted.

OOC: I'm leaving now so....

"My go then, Draw!" Chortez said as he drew his card.

"First I'll have to activate the effect of Cold Wave, now niether of us can use Spell or Trap Cards for this turn."

 

"I use the effect of my Insectoid Fighter, to Special Summon him into attack positon"

"Unfortunatly due to its effect I'll have to dump two Spyder Spiders, but now I get to summon Dark Spider in attack position!" A small spider appeared allong the beetle and hissed at VX. "Now I'm tuning my level five Insectoid Fighter with level one Dark Spider, to Synchro Summon my ace! Underground Arachne!"

 

 

Suddenly out of the rings caused by Insectoid Fighter and Dark Spider, emerged a odd-looking creature with spider legs and the upper body of a woman.

"But I chain my Continuous Trap Card, Mark of the Youma, to your Cold Wave!"

As long as you have a face-up "Silver Slayer" on your side of the field, all of your opponent's monsters are treated as DARK monsters.

 

"Since the effects of Continuous Spell and Trap Cards that are activated before Cold Wave still apply during Cold Wave, your monsters become DARK monsters!"

The eyes of Insectoid Fighter turn into golden cat-like eyes, as well as those of Dark Spider, and Underground Arachne.

"Pfft, pitiful, you suppose that your feeble trap is going to help you? Let me guess you think that your gonna use that Silver Slayer thing to block my attack are you? Well guess again! Now I activate Underground Arachnid's ability! Web of Draining!" Suddenly Underground Arachnid produced a web from its spider part and the web ensnared apon Tabitha and dragged her into the monsters body. "You see my Arachnid has a special power indeed, it can take your monsters and use them as a virtual sheild. Now Underground Arachnid! Attack VX directly with Dark Web!" The spider beast fired a blast of shadowy webbing at VX.

VX took the damage, and saw Tabitha weeping while in the clutches of the monstrous spider-woman. (1600 LP)

"Do you end your turn yet?" VX asked.

 

"This is actually quite splendid, but I'm worried about our good friend Chortez. His monster is now a DARK monster, which spells trouble for him since Silver Slayers revolve around anti-DARK tactics." Riful commented on the duel while Dauf moved close to the dumpster to prevent Kris and Raki from doing anything stupid.

 

"What should we do now, creepy guy?" Raki asked Kris.

[Proto]

"I'll set down two cards and end my turn here, surrender while you still can Silver Slayer, its not like you still have a chance to beat us." Suddenly he caught a glimse of what the Silver Slayer had planned for him and pondered about whether this would effect the impact of this duel. He then pressed a secret compartment while placing his facedowns as the the Arachnid blocked the view of VX, quickly he set a small dart from his Duel Disk and attached it to a launcher in his sleeve. He then hid the device again as he said "Your turn now Slayer, hope you got something good planned."

"I draw, and I Special Summon Silver Slayer - Undine of the Twin Swords with her own effect!"

 

A familiar, muscular Silver Slayer with two swords instead of just one came onto the field, at which point Tabitha began making begging motions. (2200 ATK)

"Next I'll Normal Summon Silver Slayer - Claudia the Helpful in Attack Mode!"

Another Silver Slayer leaped onto the field and gave a thumbs-up to Undine. (1700 ATK)

"Now, thanks to Claudia, they both get 200 ATK while your Arachne loses 200 ATK!"

Undine and Claudia looked a bit stronger with golden energy radiating from them while Arachne looked weaker. (2400 ATK) (1900 ATK) (2200 ATK)

"And Undine can attack twice, so I will attack with her!"

Undine charged forwards, slashed through Tabitha, who mouthed "Thank you", before slicing at the real target, Underground Arachne. (Chortez: 3600 LP)

"Now Claudia will attack you directly!"

Claudia charged at Chortez and sliced at his torso, creating a cut in his shirt and causing blood to trickle down from the slash. (Chortez: 1700 LP)

"The attack isn't serious, but it is enough to make you think about using my friends as shields!" VX protested.

"I end my turn!"

"Grgh........ look at you acting like you'll actually defeat me, well its about time I end this, draw!" Chortez then smirked a bit and said "I'll activate the spell card known as Insect Rejuvanation!"

Activate only when you have more 5 Insect monsters or more in your graveyard, Special Summon one Insect monster from your graveyard in face up attack position and take damage equal to 200x each of its levels.

 

"Thanks to this beauty I'll get my Arachnid back with a little cost" (Chortez: 500) Suddenly the insect lady returned with and screeched out a bone chilling yell.

Activate only when your opponent Special Summons a monster. Special Summon 1 "Silver Slayer" monster from your Graveyard.

 

"I can now bring back Tabitha from my Graveyard in Defense Mode!"

Tabitha returns, and Claudia hugs her before they resume their battle stances. (2000 DEF)

"And before you can use your Arachnid's effect, I use Tabitha's, negating your monster's effect for this turn!"

"What now, Spider-Man?"

OOC: (Ace daimon)Earlier when you said proto doesn't let people react well can you remember my duel with Pricilla, did I get a chance to react? No.

 

IC: "Just stay still and watch, the knives are back there so we can't do anything right now." Kris replied to Raki's question, pointing at the knves on the floor. And anyway, this is an entertaining duel. Kris thought to himself. Xandra, Raki wants to know what do. Should he just stay here and watch the duel like me or have you got a plan for him? Kris asked VX telepathically, once again finding a good use for the connection between his mind and VX's.

VX waited for Chortez to make his move, while Vicky and Xandra bickered.

OOC: Hey! My character talks to himself. Have you seen how many times it says 'He thought' and then next to it Italic writing, thats talking to himself. And I have plenty of other charcters that talk to them self. Usually it's a demon called semon dage that has entered their body when his parents died.

 

IC: Kris watched as VX seemed to be muttering to herself. Hello, anyone home? Seriously Xandra, are you there? Kris asked her in his mind. With the way she hadn't answered him for a while he assumed that there telepathic connection was faulty. So he just leaned against the wall again and watched for any movement from the two Corrupted slayers.

Chortez gave himself a evil giggle as he just laughed at the stupidity of his opponent. "You think I'd do all that just for a regular old bug? Well I'm gonna activate a Quick Play Spell known as Emergency Gattai!"

Activate only when your lifepoints are 1000 or less, if your opponent targets one monster you control you may tribute that monster to Special Summon one "Gattai" monster with the same name as the card ignoring the summoning conditions.

 

"Now lets see how you face off against Black Widow Arachnid!" Suddenly the ground shaked a bit as Underground Arachnid was absorbed into a beam of red light. When the beam subsided a gigantic monsterous shadowy black coloration of Underground Arachnid appeared on Chortez' side of the field.

This card cannot be Special Summoned except by Gattai Summon. This cards name is treated as "Underground Arachnid". Once per turn, you can treat up to two monsters on your opponents side of the field as Equip Card(s) and equip it to this card. This card gains the effects of any monster equipped to it. When this card battles, your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the End Phase. If this card would be destroyed, you can destroy one equipped monster instead.

"Agamagagamagamagamagagamagagamag! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMFG!" Kris shouted, shocked out of his mind. He didn't think that Chotez could gattai summon after his life points went 500 life points so he was gobsmacked when the gattai monster was summoned. "What the hell just happened?! Xandra was winning!" Kris shouted.

[Proto]

"Now its time to take a few extra measures... like your Tabithia and Claudia!" Suddenly a two dark threads of webbing came out from Black Widow Arachnid and wrapped itself around the two Silver Slayers and planted it withen the creatures web. "Now I attack your Undine with Uncurable Vemon!" The gigantic spider spit out another web and this time surrounded Undine with it, reeling the struggling Silver Slayer in and destroying it with one fatal bite. (VX: 1000 LP). "I'll end my turn here."

"Fine then! I draw!

VX then drew, and smiled.

"Like every good Duel Monsters duel, the good guy stereotypically play a card that can only be used in a very specific situation, and I will now play such a card! Arms Resell!"

Shuffle all Equip Spell Cards to their original owner's Decks. Each player draws a card for each card returned to his/her Deck by this card's effect.

 

"I can now get Claudia and Tabitha back into my Deck, and I draw 2 cards!"

Cauldia and Tabitha disappeared into beams of light, which went into VX's deck, and she drew 2 cards, one of which made VX smile.

"This is just what I needed." she mumbled to herself.

"Next, I'll Normal Summon Hilda the Supportive in Attack Mode!"

Another Silver Slayer appeared, this one ready to help VX. (1800 ATK)

"I can now use Hilda's effect, returning Undine to my Deck to destroy your Arachnid!"

Hilda readied her sword, aimed at Black Widow's head, and sent the blade flying, chopping the creature's head off. She quickly retrieved her sword as Black Widow Arachnid collapsed.

"Now, Hilda, attack Chortez directly!"
