Kris noticed something familiar about VX but couldn't put his finger on it. Then he wondered what the initials VX stood for. Then he remembered it was his turn. "I'll draw." Kris exclaimed, then he looked at his card. Damn, not the card I wanted but it'll have to do. He thought. "I'll activate share the pain, allowing me to destroy one of my cards and you destroy one of yours. Since undine is your only monster on the field you have to destroy that and I have to destroy My Shield. But my shield has an ability, When it is destroyed in a way that isn't his own I get to special summon from my deck my [spoiler=Oblivion defender]

in defense mode. Then I'll lay a face down and end my turn. Your in trouble now because my defenders effect means you cannot summon or set at all and if you destroy my defender with a spell or trap I get to special summon an even powerfuller monster!" Kris exclaimed, happy that now he couldn't possibly lose.

Activate only if a "Silver Slayer" monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by a card effect controlled by your opponent. Place 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field on the bottom of his/her Deck, then Special Summon the destroyed monster.

OOC: I know they are, people say that alot. BTW I couldn't find a good pic for sacrifice. I made it ages ago to defend my defender and shield.

 

IC: "Well that was a good move but I activate my trap, [spoiler=Oblivion sacrifice]

I was prepared for anything and I have faced more than 1...2...5...10 opponents that have tryed that tactic of returning it to my deck or hand and thanks to this card they have not succeeded, except 1 but thats a different story. Any way, my [spoiler=oblivion master]

is summoned to the field aswell as my [spoiler=Oblivion assassin]

and there both in attack mode." Kris laughed. He was now the victor no matter what. Then he remembered a name in his head. Xandra? Who's Xand....XANDRA!? If it is Xandra she should remeber the Oblivion assassin from that duel she interupted. Kris thought.

"I Special Summon Silver Slayer - Tabitha the Observant in Defense Mode!"

A frail-looking Silver Slayer appeared, looked over the battlefield with hawk-like eyes, whipped out her sword, and ducked behind it. (2000 DEF)

"What else, smart guy?"

VX quickly asked "Hey! Cloaked guy! I didn't catch your name!"

OoC: I think you're talking to me, right?

 

"You talking to me?" Kaij asked, but hesitated with the answer. He still felt uneasy around this girl. "My name is Kaij."

OOC: Actually she was talking to me JG, I'm cloaked aswell.

 

IC: "My name. My name's Kristan Inayuke. And I would like to know your true name aswell. VX isn't enough, it's just some initials. What's your name? The Both Of you." Kris said, revealing the fact that he knew they were two separate beings.

VX was shocked at the revelation of the other Duelist.

VX closed her eyes, and her mask started to sort of flow back from her face as the black veins connecting her face to her mask receded as well, eventually leaving a pale version of Xandra's face. VX, now Xandra, opened her eyes to reveal that they were back to normal.

"Kris! It's me! Xandra! Remember?" she said in her now normal voice.

Kaij let his jaw drop as he saw what was just happening. "Wait... Did you just... I think I hit my head a little too hard when the bomb went off... Pinch me please, I think I'm dreaming."

[Ace Daimon]

One of VX's hair-tentacles then reached over, split in two, and gave Kaji a sharp pinch.

Xandra was surprised at that.

"Sorry! That wasn't me! That was Vicky. She's now the other half of me."

Xandra then proceeded to explain what had happened to her. Clare and Raki landed in her backyard, and she took care of them for a few days until some people kidnapped her and fused her with Vicky, a strange cyborg from the future, to create VX. Neither of them have complete control of Xandra's body, so they work together in order to stop SI:N. For the past few weeks since their escape, they've been tracking down Silver Slayers like Irene.

She then explained about Silver Slayers, protectors of the Spirit World who were decimated in an enormous battle a few months ago, and the survivors were scattered to the ends of the earth. Now, Xandra and Vicky, who form the composite entity "VX", are trying to gather up the survivors in order to stop SI:N.

"So, any questions?"

[JG.]

"Umm... no, because if I ask you to explain any more, I think my head will explode" Kaij laughed. Now he seemed to be back to the guy they had met in the back alleyway, when they had helped Sarah. "Anyways, on with the duel?"

[Guest Supreme Gamesmaster]

"Fools," she said flatly. And fools they were. All of this information, and they still want to keep dueling? It was like the end of The Miser, but serious.

 

"You have no time to be dueling." Her tone would have been extremely impatient, like a stressed older sister helping her younger siblings with their homework, if she had much of a tone. Even as it was, her voice was sharp and condescending.

 

"Your primary objective should be the separation of souls between VX's components." Was that not obvious?

 

She agreed. Since the explosion, this was a major regression.

 

"This mere card game will ultimately settle nothing," she pointed out. "Both of you will continue on your way, unharmed, after all is said and done. Only your honor could possibly hold you back after the outcome, and when such crises as these are in progress, honor is foolish. You're just wasting your time."

Xandra was a bit confused when the mask started to creep back on.

She closed her eyes as the mask reformed, and when she opened them, she was VX.

"How dare you criticize our battle?" VX, now Vicky, demanded. "We can fight if we want to!"

"And to make things interesting..."

Suddenly, a mark on VX's right arm glowed, causing a ring of purple fire to surround the two duelists, preventing anyone from entering the duel area.

"Now, we play a Shadow Game!"

But, at the same time, a telepathic message was sent to Kris.

"Impulsive idiot..." she murmured acerbically before turning and stalking purposefully away. "The more time you waste, the more time you spend careening towards destruction."

 

She could no longer ensure that. Improvising explosives took time, and if anyone suspected her, they could put her in danger. She still had her, right?

 

You do. Don't check.

 

This wise thought wasn't her own, and in itself proved that she was still there.

 

But there was more than one way to shift blame... kill a few idiots... stop duels... save the world, she knew. And she'd come up with an idea.

[Ace Daimon]

"Continuing with the duel..." VX replied, now in her "normal" voice, which sounded like Xandra's very slight Russian voice and Vicky's British accent "I still have Undine and Tabitha on my side of the field, so now I can activate the Even the Odds that I tried to activate last turn!"

"Now that you can't activate Traps until my next Standby Phase, I activate Tabitha's effect, negating your Assassin's effect."

"Next I play Slayer's Support from Beyond!"

Place 1 "Silver Slayer" monster on the bottom of your Deck. Special Summon 1 "Silver Slayer" monster from your Deck with the same level Stars as the returned monster, except the returned monster.

 

"By returning Pamela to my Deck, I can Special Summon Hilda the Supportive in Attack Mode!"

A short-haired Silver Slayer appeared and gave a thumbs-up to her comrades. (1800 ATK)

"Now I activate her effect, sending Noel back into my Deck to destroy your Master!"

Hilda threw her sword at Master, decapitating him.

"Now I attack you Assassin with Hilda! Assisting Slash!"

OOC: Sorry I haven't replyed to anything I haven't been allowed on all day because I've had to completely tidy the house from top to bottom. And how can you activate your even the odds when it was negated and destroyed?

 

IC: Kris just listened to everything, not saying a word as usuall. Something just then had reverted him to his Oblivion form, the dark and almost evil one. It was probably the shadow game, he loved shadow games. "Well, well well. You destroyed my master. I'm impressed. And you destroyed my assassin. Thats me down to 2500 life points. And do you end your turn because next turn you lose, big time." Kris said, confident. If I had drawn that card this duel would be over but lets see how she reacts now. Will she destroy her old friend? Kris asked himself.

Activate only if your opponent has no monsters no his/her side of the field and you have at least 1 "Silver Slayer" monster on your side of the field during your Battle Phase. Special Summon a "Youma Token" (DARK/Fiend/1/1000/1000) onto your opponent's side of the field in Attack Mode for each "Silver Slayer" monster on your side of the field. Each "Silver Slayer" monster on your side of the field that has already attacked this turn may attack once again. At the end of the Battle Phase in which this card was activated, change all monsters that attacked this Battle Phase to Defense Mode.

 

Three fiends that looked human, but had claws, fangs, an extra foot or so in height, and golden, cat-like eyes, appeared on Kris's side of the field.

"You now have three monsters on your side of the field, but now Hilda can attack once again, and Undine, who can only attack DARK monsters, gets to attack twice!"

Hilda charged at one of the Youma, cutting it down, while Undine slashed at one Youma, then quickly beheaded the other.

"And you lose a grand total of...3200 Life Points!" (Kris: 0 LP)

The purple flame receded as VX went over to the crouched Oblivion user and gave him a hand up.

"Good game, old friend."

Um... I like the story, but what was the piont in the riddler thing? If it was someone's username picture, well just learn that i'm new.

"Huh, you too. Damn you. I would have won an all." Kris said. He showed her his hand, and with it and the next card he drew he could have summoned his brilliant Dragon Of Oblivion. "See, If you'd have just been patient you would've seen it in action. I've actually never used it meaning I've never used my top card but you won't be seeing that." Kris said, smiling as he realised that he actually had friends again.

VX helped her friend up, but then, she stopped.

VX grabbed Kris and Cyrus' hands, and used her hair-tendrils to snag the others.

"I'll explain later, but we have to go-"

A black helicopter swooped over the stadium and a strange figure jumped out.

She was petite, had brownish-red hair, and was wrapped in maroon clothing, complete with maroon cloak. When she turned to face them, however, she had silver eyes.

"Oh Clare! It's been a while." the woman called out. "We haven't seen each other since Florence..."

OOC: Florence again. WTF Happened in florence?

 

IC: What the hell? Kris thought as everyone was snagged by the tendrils."Who is she? What happened in florence? What the hells going on?" Kris asked Xandra as he got realeased from her tendrils and started running. "What on earth is she talking about?" Kris wanted to ask more questions but realised it wasn't the time. Ah there we go. kris telepathically said to Xandra, only just figuring out how to do this telepathic speaking, Anyway, The most important question is who is she? And then what is going on?

The woman laughed as she walked towards VX and her friends. "Go ahead VX. Tell them what happened in Florence...

VX sighed as she started to explain.

"Well, Clare, Raki, and I had found Priscilla, the woman you see before you, in Florence, Italy, about two weeks ago, and had finally caught up with her, when she revealed that she was no longer a Silver Slayer."

"In fact, I found the fact that Priscilla was even registering as having a Silver Slayer's Duel Energy signature odd, since I saw her become corrupted during the Battle for Kigali."

VX saw that this caused more questions than answers, so she elaborated. "Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, was where the Silver Slayers and SI:N went head to head a few months ago, and corrupted means that a Silver Slayer uses too much of the dark powers they have sealed within them, and their seal breaks, causing them to mutate into the very things they used to fight: monsters."

Priscilla answered "I'm not corrupted! I have control over my form now!"

"No, you have your natural hair color again. Silver Slayers usually have pale-blonde or silver, yet yours is red."

"SHUT UP!!!" Priscilla yelled as her eyes turned golden and cat-like.

"Anyways..." VX sternly interrupted, preventing either Clare or Priscilla from continuing "Priscilla started to talk about how the Silver Slayers were wrong. How SI:N wants to create a utopia out of our shattered worlds. How it wants to unite humanity together to make both of our worlds a better place."

"But then, Vicky got a little testy, and we engaged Priscilla in a Duel. During this Duel, she summoned herself and used Soul Gattai."

"Then she promptly rampaged across half of downtown Florence, destroying several skyscrapers, damaging about a dozen others to some degree, and killing thousands. The Italian government has covered it up with a terrorist plot, and received reparation money from SI:N, though suicide bombs don't leave massive claw marks and slashes inside of buildings."

"And now Priscilla is here to try to kill us again."

"Because you, Raki, and most of the other Slayers have become tainted by this witch over here!" she pointed to VX. "She reeks of darkness! Therefore, because she has dark powers, she must be evil, yet you serve her like she's your master! How can I trust you when you work for that b***h?!?"

"Ooookaaay. That explains Everythiiiiing." Kris said sarcastically. Then he started talking to Priscilla, "Then why are you only after her, I bet I reek of more dark energy!!!" Kris then started talking to VX again, panting a little, "Now my story, well....um...Skip the orphanage part, you know most off that, them people just pissed me off. Well I became sort of corrupted and now have a half evil side that I call the Oblivion that comes out during shadow games. He gave me the Idea of an underground cult which I named after him, the Oblvion. We currently have 365...no wait, sam joined a few days ago.....366 members and our goal is to destroy SI:N. We figured out their plan to conquer the universe. Yeah thats right, not help it, conquer it." Kris said, "And that's it in a whole."

Priscilla listened to this, and then whipped out a Duel Disk.

"Well then, I guess you're my enemy too!" she cried out as she activated it.

 

((Priscilla sees things in black and white, if you know what I mean. If you aren't with her, you're against her, and she destroys anyone who is against her.))

((She's the fanatic's fanatic, and rarely has a change of heart.))

OOC: I didn't reaveal that to her I said it to VX but I'll duel her anyway and this time I win.

 

"Fine." Kris said, stopping and putting his dueldisk on, "But I go first and I'll draw. And I'll summon my Oblivion marauder in attack mode and that allows me to summon my [spoiler=Beast of the Oblivion]

from my hand. And now My marauder's effect increases my Beast's level by one, (something I should have done in the previous duel) and now I synchro summon My [spoiler=Oblivion Hell Lord!]

And I'll lay one face down to end my turn.
