She looked at her cards, and realized that they weren't exactly the best cards to use to go up against this deck.

"I Normal Summon Silver Slayer - Clare of the Hidden Power in Attack Mode!"

Clare leaped onto the same zone her card appeared in, but as she did that, her card received a glowing, silver-colored ring with the same symbol Clare had on her neck in the middle and other arcane symbols around the ring. (700 ATK)

"Now, I play Silver Flash!"

You can only activate this card if you have at least 1 face-up "Silver Slayer" monster on your side of the field and your opponent controls more monsters than you do. Special Summon 1 "Silver Slayer" monster from your Deck with an ATK equal to or less than the ATK of the monster on your opponent's side of the field with the lowest DEF.

 

"Since your Bergzak has the lowest DEF, I can Special Summon a Silver Slayer with 200 or less ATK from my Deck, and I choose Silver Slayer - Noel the Swift!"

Another Silver Slayer, this time a short-haired, wiry one, jumped into another one of VX's Monster Card Zones, her card receiving the same treatment. But instead of simply standing, she backed up a bit and seemed to get ready to jump away. (2100 DEF)

"Now I can Special Summon Sophie the Strong from my hand!"

A third Slayer, this one with wavy hair and a muscular build, appeared beside Noel. (2100 ATK)

"Next, I'll equip Clare with Lightning Blade!"

Clare received a large blade crackling with electricity, and placed it in the extra sword holder on her armor. (1500 ATK)

"Now I'll attack!"

Clare whipped out her swords while Sophie only grabbed hers, and they charged at Urknight and Bergzak. Bergzak was sliced down by Sophie, while Clare chopped Urknight's head off. (???????: 3800 LP)

"Wait a second!" the man protested, "Clare's a Beast-Warrior-type! She can't be equipped with Lightning Blade! And how is she able to defeat my Urknight with only 1500 ATK?!?"

Clare turned to the man and answered herself.

"First off, we're not just 'Beast-Warriors'. We also counts as Warrior-type monsters, due to our mixed blood. And second, I don't do well by myself, but I do better when I'm in a group, so to represent this, I gain ATK for every other Silver Slayer on the field." (2100 ATK)

"I end my turn by Setting a card!" VX declared.

OOC: JG I don't think the tournement has started, I'm already there in a duel and its 6:30 were I am and the thread master should tell us when the tournement starts, and you wouldn't be second to last if None of us have started.

 

IC: The teenager drew a card. "I'll summon my Field commander Rahz in attack mode. His effect allows me to look through my deck for a level 4 or lower warrior and place it on top of my deck. I'll play a card face down and end my turn." The guy said. "Not a very good turn." Kris smirked, ready to draw his card...

((JG, I was reading your sig and I saw that you review cards. Is my Silver Slayer series alright so far?))

 

"I draw, and I activate my Trap Card! Core Reinforcement!"

A machine with an Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru appeared.

"Now I can Special Summon Bergzak back from my Graveyard!"

Bergzak appeared back in Attack Mode. (2000 ATK)

"Next, I'll Tribute Bergzak to Normal Summon Koa'ki Meiru Rooklord in Attack Mode!"

A large mechanical warrior appeared where Bergzak once stood. (2800 ATK)

"Next, I'll activate Rooklord's effect, removing Urknight from play to destroy Sophie and Noel!"

Rooklord shot out several lasers from the emblems on its shoulder pads, destroying two of the Silver Slayers and reverting Clare back to normal strength. (1500 ATK)

"Next, I will activate Snatch Steel!"

Activate only if your opponent has an Equip Spell Card equipped to a monster on his/her side of the field and you control a monster that your opponent's Equip Spell Card can be equipped to. Change the target of your opponent's Equip Spell Card to your monster.

 

Several wires wrapped around Clare's Lightning Blade, then attached the sword to Rooklord. (700 ATK) (3600 ATK)

"Now, Rooklord, attack Clare! Rook Hammer!"

Rooklord smashed its fists down on Clare, dealing damage to VX. (VX: 1100 LP)

"I end my turn by revealing War Arms in my hand!"

OOC: Actually snatch steal steals the monster not a card equiped to it.

 

IC: (After the duel) "Good match, that warrior's strike is a good deck just The Oblivion is stronger." Kris said to the boy he had dueled, trying to sound nice again. The boy just sulked off to the corner and kris waited for more people to come. He was getting bored and cold but ignored it.

VX tried to figure out how to get out of this.

Or, more precisely, Vicky and Xandra tried to figure out how to get out of this.

They suddenly felt a tap on their collective shoulder.

"What?!?"

It was Teresa.

"We have a problem. Since we're Duel Monster Spirits now, our connection with the physical world is only made by our cards, and that connection is severed in a Duel."

"Meaning?"

"If you end the Duel, any Silver Slayers in your Graveyard will die. Permanently. Whereas, if they are removed from play, they will stay removed from play until your retrieve them with a card effect in a later Duel."

This fact suddenly sank in as Vicky and Xandra realized that the options they were considering didn't include saving Clare.

In fact, they had left out several Silver Slayers from the Deck due to the fact that they involved returning cards back into the Deck. But now, that effect was essential to their survival.

Vicky's mental self looked at Xandra's mental self.

VX resumed the duel, ready to rescue her new friends.

Cyrus had already won his match, and the last one of this round was about to begin. He was sitting in the crowd, as he watched Kaij, the one from yesterday, was about to duel a boy named Tommy. Cyrus turned to a girl who sat next to him.

"Who do you think will win?"

"I think Kaij will win." She said and smiled, apparently not uncomfortable with Cyrus just asking without knowing her.

Kris was watching the next match, His had to be the last of the first round though. He hated it

when he was last but ignored it as the boy dueling was one from the day before and so was the boy in front of him. "Hey, isn't that your mate from yesterday?" Kris asked the boy.

OoC: Are we allowed to agree on the fact that we duel next round then?

 

"So, ready to duel then?" Tommy asked. Kaij just glared back at him. Tommy could take a hint. But before he could react, Kaijh had pulled out his duel disk and drawn 5 cards.

 

"I start." He glanced at his hand. "Correction. I win." he laughed. "I summon Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind, and Special Summon 3 Bora's to go with it!"

 

"No sh*t sherlock..."

 

"I tune my Gale and 1 of my Bora's to summon Blackwing - Armour Master! I also activate the Spell Card Suicidal Charge! By paying all except 100 of my Life Points, I can attack during the first turn. Now, all my monster attack! Black Hurricane!"

 

"Wait WHAT!?" was all Tommy managed to say before he was knocked to the ground.

 

"Well, that was easy... I had expected more of a challenge."

 

OoC: I assumed we were playing with 4000 LP... If not, let's just say I KO'ed him some other way xD

"That was quick, wasn't it...um....what was your name again?" Kris asked the boy in front of him, the boy he had helped the day before with a girl who was unconcious.

OoC: inorite? Sorry, but I was trying to get the tourney on with, so yeah... It has a point in my characters story...

"My turn hasn't started, so I activate Reverse-Time!" VX declared.

Suddenly, a large vortex opened up, and Clare, Noel, and Sophia reappeared on the field, whereas Rooklord had disappeared, and only Bergzak stood in its place.

"Our monsters are now the same as they were when my last turn ended, but, since you ended your turn, and it's mine now, your Bergzak is toast!"

Before the unknown scientist could reveal a card, Bergzak's chest emblem overloaded, and he exploded in a fiery BOOM.

"My turn, and I return Noel and Sophia back to my Deck to Special Summon Silver Slayer - Teresa of the Faint Smile in Attack Mode!"

Teresa walked onto a zone next to Clare as Sophia and Noel went back to watch the Duel. (2500 ATK)

"Next, I'll play Double Summon, letting me Normal Summon Elena the Gentle!"

Another Silver Slayer, this one with long, straight hair, appeared. (1900 ATK)

"Now, with Clare at 1300 ATK, I attack you directly!"

The three Slayers slashed at the unknown scientist, and Clare went over and freed Raki. (???????: 0 LP)

 

When the scientist got up, all of his guards were lying on the ground, and VX, Clare, Raki, and all of the other Silver Slayers were gone.

"Curse you VX!!!" he cried out.

As usual, their tournament was considered more important than...

 

...actually, anything.

 

Thugs still wandered the streets, harassing and abusing the unfortunate trusting souls they happened across. Several cards had crashed en route to the tournament; few paid them any mind, and the ones that did, she noted with distinct distaste, were still intrigued by the worthless sporting event.

 

It was time to do something about it.

 

Bombs were fun.

VX, Clare, Raki, and the other Silver Slayers had managed to cause a lot of destruction throughout the SI:N base before reaching the motor pool and realizing that their were no speedy, Duel-capable vehicles!

VX slumped as she realized that she needed an escape plan, but there were none in sight.

Until an ATV-like vehicle appeared in front of VX.

 

Meanwhile...trillions of miles away and hundreds of years into the future...

"Simmons!!!" a light red-armored figure yelled at a dark red-armored figure. "Where is that Mongoose?"

"I don't know, sir!" the maroon soldier replied. "The teleporter should have placed it over there!"

"Great job, Simmons!" an orange-armored figure walked into the room. "You sent our Mongoose some strange place where we can't get it! Just like our spare Warthog! At least we can hope that it was sent to a reality where a hot chick will turn it into a motorcycle and use it to play a children's card game..."

"Maybe she could even do a cool chase scene!" Sarge chimed in.

"Nah. She'll probably just outsmart the stupid guards and run away with her other hot friend and the kid they're dragging with them." Grif countered.

"Wow. You really thought this out." Simmons complimented.

"Well, when you're lazy, your mind tends to wander..." Grif sighed as he leaned back in the chair he just sat down in.

That doesn't matter right now. The point is that I've managed to get through and register. Now we wait for an opponent.

VX quickly used her nanites to build a new Duel Runner out of the Mongoose, using the nearby vehicles and her own, twisted image.

What was created was a Duel Runner that looked like it was made out of a black spiral that, in turn, was conceived from the very stuff VX had wrapped around her. The front had three prongs where the front wheel was, which then spiraled in to make the body, including a small display shaped like a small piece of RNA. The cylindrical body then spiraled out into another three prongs for the back wheel. The "prongs" seemed to be black and latexy, and had purple glowing circuitry on it.

Interestingly, there were no distinguishable seats, only indentations where you could sit, and no real controls.

Clare wondered "Then how do you control it?"

"The Duel Runner, which I have dubbed Triple Helix, is actually an extension of me. I can control it via wireless connections."

She then looked over at the dozen or so other Silver Slayers.

"Wait a second, how am I going to fit all of you on here?"

Teresa answered by holding up her card, which then caused her to dissolve into nothing.

The other Silver Slayers did the same, until only Clare and Raki were left.

"We have reverted to card form, but have also solidified Clare and Raki. They are now part of this universe." Teresa explained, now appearing as a card spirit.

"Take care of them. Clare is like a daughter to me. And Raki is so precious in his innocence."

She then disappeared as the three of them got on the Helix and drove out of the motor pool to discover...

"Siberia?!? We're all the way in f**king Siberia?!?!?" VX exclaimed.

"Attention, duelists and spectators! It would seem that a bomb has gone off in the center of our arena! The bomber is not present to make demands, so we request that all duelists leave the building in an orderly fashion while spectators organize based on their bleacher number. We will be able to successfully evacuate the area if we have your full cooperation. Thank you."

 

Now they pay attention. Trauma was good character building.

 

If anyone knew that, it was she.

Cyrus was just about to answer Kris when the bomb went off.

"Oh my God!" Cyrus fell off his chair, but quickly got up as the message played.

"I'm outta here!" The girl next to him said and started to run.

"Wait for me!" Cyrus started to run behind her.

Kris wasn't that phased by the explosion, he'd felt and been the target of quite a few. He stood up and followed Cyrus out of the arena. After he felt that most people had been evacuated from the arena he walked behind a pole and waited for the guards to go past, before he went to see where the bomb was centered. He walked of down to the basement to start there as that was where most of the bombs he'd seen go off went of from.

((Yes, my segment actually took place before the RP actually started.))

 

"So, you want to reserve a room for three?"

"Yes. That's correct."

"You don't seem to have any real credentials."

"I was under the impression that this hotel didn't ask so many questions..."

Clare, who is currently disguised as a affluent socialite, slips a very large American bill to the man who is at the check-in desk at a very fancy hotel.

"I apologize, ma'am. I'll get your room right away."

"Thank you. Rocky!"

A familiar young boy, this time dressed in a tuxedo and a cap, begins to haul a large cart full of luggage towards the elevator as "Claire" takes the room key.

The two of them get inside of the elevator, luggage and all, ride to their room, enter the suite, lock the door, then break out laughing.

"May I get you anything else, 'Ms. Silverstein'?" Raki asks in a mock jest of the man at the counter.

"Of course not. I'm not really rich!" Clare replies in her fake rich tone as she takes out the special contacts that make her silver eyes look blue.

As they revert back to Clare and Raki, the largest piece of luggage begins to open up, revealing VX stowed away inside.

"Pipe down, you two! You don't know who might be listening!"

 

To make a long story short, shortly after the three of them escaped from the frozen wasteland that is Siberia ((is it really a frozen wasteland? I don't really know...)), they were met with the realization that several major countries had rather large ransoms for Clare and Raki.

That is because SI:N faked several acts of "terrorism" using body doubles that looked exactly like the Silver Slayer and her assistant, so the three of them are on the run disguised as a rich, tech-savvy socialite who recently entered the world of the upper class (thanks to VX's ability to manipulate cyberspace) and her attendant.

 

Now, they are trying to plan their next move. They have managed to find 5 other Silver Slayers in the past few weeks, and are now looking for another one, Priscilla, who is somewhere in this town.

Until the stadium explodes.

They turn on the news to see, in the corner, a slender woman with long, silver hair, silver eyes, and pointed ears run by.

"Is that Irene?"

"Yes."

"Then let's go!"

 

Meanwhile, at the stadium, the aforementioned woman runs into Cyrus and his girlfriend.

"Excuse me, but would you help me out? I don't really know my way around here..."

[JG.]

Kaij was in a bad shape. The blast had thrown him at least 10 meters away, and he'd slammed into the wall of the arena. His vision was blurry, and he was unable to stand up by his own power...

Kris saw the injured Kaij roll on the floor, groaning in pain. Why do I have to help Kris thought, hating it, But These guys might be able to help against SI:N when they find out. Maybe it was SI:N who set of the bomb, the only thing i wouldn't get is why would they blow up their own building? Kris walked over to the groaning Kaij and sat him up. The distance from where they were was about ten metres from the duel space and there was a hole in the ground over there so he guessed that was where the bomb was. He ran over there, leaving Kaij to rest against a wall. He jumped down the hole and activated his dueldisk and his Oblivion powers, allowing him to have shadow duels.

When Cyrus was outside of the stadium he was faced with a girl with long, silvery hair and silver colored eyes.

"Excuse me, but would you help me out? I don't really know my way around here..." She said.

"Oh... I guess that's okay..." Cyrus said and smiled.

It's okay, Drill Warrior, if something happens I'm ready.

As kris looked around in the secret underground chamber of the stadium he saw a suspicious Ecca walking of. "Hey you! Did you set of that bomb? If so then get ready to duel!" Kris shouted at her, not afraid in the slightest. Actually he was quite calm and was confident that he couldn't lose.
