Rendering Images 2.0-for Photoshop?

ok so i know how to cut the image out of its original background...

 

but i want to add an outline around it (bc my cutting skill arent so awesome) could someone tell me how to do so...also where i can find some backgrounds (or make some on photoshop)

 

ex:valkyrtaufirewarriorbyv.jpgw400.png

Recommended Posts

1. Do the Lasso (selection) around the object you want to render (Use polygonal lasso if you're having trouble with the lasso)

2. Cut the selection out. It'll become its own layer.

3. From the Layer Style menu, choose 'Stroke'. then make the color black.

 

And remember, save it in PNG. NOT JPG.


Backgrounds? Eh, I'm not good at that. Sorry :(
