Too bad the Megaman X collection for PS2 is $150. iw ant a new game to beat.

 

Seriously? Wow, I guess I should consider myself lucky.

Protodude had a Coro Coro article with the 8 RM's. IGN, however, has their pictures AND their sprites.

Commando Man

 

Chill Man (the sprite has an ice helmet, but you can't see it because it's on a white background -_-)

*looks at head* Cutting corners again, Capcom? tsk tsk tsk

 

Nitro Man

 

Strike Man (Notice how his hand in the picture matches both Sheep Man and Hornet Man)

 

Solar Man (the sprite is apparently supposed to have a sun on top, I dunno)

 

Pump Man (He looks MUCH better in sprite form, 'specially with the pump handle looking like a mullet or something. He looks really retarded in picture form (but not in a bad way :P); also, he continues the running chain of "shield weapons" [leaf, skull, star, plant, junk, and jewel])

 

Blade Man

 

All in all, I'm quite satisfied with what I see here.

 

Also, I predict that Dark Spine Sonic will complain about this. Especially with how Nitro Man will be a Turbo Man wannabee and how Pump Man will get another shield weapon.

SolarMan - when i saw him yesterday i thought it ws TopMan O.o

Chill Man (lol @ name) - can't say much about this guy but i smell his pattern is similar to Freezeman

Strikeman is meeeh - bowling man would have been a better choise o.o or Gridman

NITROMAN IS FREAKIN' TURBO SYNCHRON. ITS A FACT.

 

Pumpman looks awesome.

My guess, is that the weapon you get from him, is chargable.

 

And Blademan, yet again, is an awesome ninja-bot.

Me thinks you get some kind of spin blade weapon.

I agree, Solar and Blade are the best ones so far and I may add Sheep to that list. Anyways I'm supposing its something like this

 

 

Sheep Man -> Pump Man -> Solar Man -> Chill Man -> Blade Man -> Strike Man -> Commando Man

 

I'm assuming Solar Man's power will be simliar to Pharaoh Shot/Atomic Fire and Chill Man freezes stuff.

The order of that sounds about right.

Also Blade-man seems to be in a western style castle stage so he is not a ninja-bot

so don't compare him to the only Ninja in Rockman -points at Tags sig-

To hell Blade Man is a ninja robot. Granted, his head and arms sorta look like katanas, but I still don't consider him a ninja.

actually, those blades don't look like Katanas but more to this type of sword

 

 

Katana has more of a different shape specially on the tip

1. Ice Robot Master > Fire Robot Master hasn't been used since the first game, its actually reversed most of the time.

 

2. The only reason Ice beated Fire is that there was no Water Robot Master yet, and guess what? PUMP MAN!

And in doing so, he would also aquire a design that makes him remniscent of the X bosses, Since they are also "Sharp".

actually rapiers are more straight in design and don't poses a curve in there element since there made for stabbing and not for cutting.

On that random G4 thing(yes, the one from Anniversary Collection), Inafunai(I think it was him, or how ever you spell his name *is lazy*) said that the X bosses are all "Hard & Metalic". Blademan is also "Hard & Metalic".
