Really? I've been thinking up ideas for one for a while now but the problem is thinking up a way for it to be hunters and original at the same time and trust me people from the digimon club will nit pic your ideas especially if your me so you might make it. If you need help with the system or anything just ask I have one you could use.

Hmm... I've been thinking up a possible Yugioh plot:

 

The seven original Earthbound Immortals have selected their own individual duelists in which to reveal themselves to in card form. Each of these duelists has a cardinal sin, and when that sin is expressed too much, the representative Earthbound will then possess the duelist and turn him or her against humanity, even threatening to destroy everything. It'll up to the duelists to decide what to do upon this revelation, whether it be to attempt to tame the Earthbound Immortal, set off on a quest to destroy it, try to extinguish the sin from his or her soul, find out why the Immortal summoned itself in the first place or give in to his or own fate.

 

And yes... I will admit that I've borrowed the cardinal sin idea from Spirits of Duel Academy. But I just wanna say that I'm doing everything to differentiate this RP from that one. For starters, this won't take place in a Duel Academy; which is fine by me since they've been overdone to hell and back anyway. Tournament style gets the boot too, since they just don't last. Signer vs. Dark Signer doesn't really work either. BUT... and this is a big but, the RP will take place in the 5D's era, and within New Domino City to boot. Still have no idea on the style I want to take, but this is what I'm thinking in terms of what Immortal will represent what sin.

 

Aslla piscu will represent Wrath, cause... let's face it, it has arguably the most aggressive ability out of all them. I mean come on: nuking the field AND burning your opponent? If that doesn't scream Wrath, I don't know what does!

 

Chacu Challhua I've decided will get Greed, since it's the one that can stall the opponent. Why does stalling represent Greed, you may ask? Simple, cause it robs the other person of the ability to do much of anything.

 

Wiraqocha Rasca personally screams Gluttony to me, mostly because it requires the biggest sacrifice of field advantage to make the most of its ability. Funnily enough, it also fattens the deck. See where I'm going, huh? Fattening? Gluttony?

 

Ccarayhua receives Pride, since its such a proud and noble thing... no, really. You'd have Pride in yourself too if you had a 2800ATK beatstick that can actually do something in case your opponent even dares think about destroying it.

 

Uru pretty much has the best representation of Envy you could possibly have. In case you beg to differ, let me ask you this... what's Envy all about? It's about not caring what you have and just solely eyeing up the other guys... i.e. your opponent.

 

Ccapac Apu I've given Sloth, which fits best out of the ones left because I find it has the most useless ability. That may well be probably just a personal thing, but hey... in the end, we still have a Sloth mascot, right? Right.

 

Cusillu has the lucky last sin in Lust, only because I couldn't find anywhere else to put it. Now... if only they had a dolphin immortal to represent Lust better. Oh well, chimpanzees are close to us, the only other animals to take pleasure in sex, so...

 

That's my pitch. If any of you have even the slightest opinion, feel free to voice it, even if it's just a better idea on which Earthbound Immortal should represent which cardinal sin. I'll probably have a counter argument, but anyway.

I don't really think the Digimon Hunters RP has to be original. I mean, sure, original is original but if it's too complicated nobody would join. If you need help with the system or anything, just ask. I might be able to help.

 

Thanks guys, but I've got it down.

 

The RP will be up very soon, and as for originality, it's going to have some, but not much, as I don't want to get too far from the actual show.

This crazy idea just entered my head.

An RP where you play a Pokemon gijinka.

As in pokemon-humans? It's been done, but it seemed kinda fun. I believe the first one was pokemon merged with humans to stop pollution or somethin' like that.

 

Also, I'm returning to the RP section. Wooo!

It seems pretty dead here at the mo' so I feel it needs as many members coming back/joining in as possible, so here I am!

I'm pondering making an RP for a comeback. I've allowed Trimage to use one of my old RP's, but at the moment, I'm planning to make an RP based off my fanfic, just several centuries before the events in the fic, or a Harry Potter School Life. I'm not doing anything original yet, I've only just come back!

Currently working on a RP that's going to be open world like Skyrim and with plenty of quests. Of course, there will be a main plot line to keep things from getting to chaotic. But the choices of the players will help craft the world.

 

Already have a map, list of races and their locations, etc. Just wanna make sure people will join before SSD and I waste anymore of our time.

Battle Network is probably the best setting for an RP anyway, given that every other Megaman continuity follows the basic plot of a single robotic hero destroying a veritable meat grinder of advanced weaponry.

 

That or Star Force; whichever would appeal more. I can easily adapt what I've written up so far into the latter if people so desire. Ipso facto, if you're interested in joining, please voice your opinion either here or via PM.

I'm thinking of doing an RP based on the duel terminal world only in this case each person will make their own tribe which will be either an existing archetype or preferably one they make up.

 

 

 

Once again life has returned to the duel terminal world, now new tribes dot the land some carrying the power of those who came before and others who draw upon new powers. Unfortunately piece could not last and the tribes have begun to war once again, each day more and more tribes enter the conflict and like all ages that chaos could awaken an evil that no tribe can defeat on their own.

 

The Tribal Elders are all preparing their troops for the battles they no are ahead, no one tribe is more powerful then the others so they must figure out different ways to grow more powerful or clever in order to get the upper hand on their enemies or to forge alliances that will bring them victory. No matter the method all tribes will be affected by the end of their war, whether they end it or something else does.
