Marduk once had a battling partner. Sadly, the partner joined Masquerade and betrayed Marduk, defeating him in a brawl and sending his bakugan to the Doom Dimension.

 

The partner has returned. He isn’t with Masquerade…and doesn’t need to. He has his own way of “taking care” of bakugan. His brawling partner, Darkus Umbra, can destroy the very existence of a bakugan. They become nothing but a memory of the partner. The traitor has been defeating brawlers all over the world, destroying their bakugan just for the fun of it.

 

You are one of the best brawlers in the world at the moment. Marduk had regained Vladitor, but lost it when the traitor appeared and brawled him. Marduk wants revenge. Almost every brawler knows about the traitor. No one knows his name, but you know that he has to be stopped. You, along with a few other brawlers, want to put an end to it, but you must find the traitor before he finds you!

In the future, people will look back on this time as an age of darkness. An age where two gods were in disharmony. One presides over the deaths of all people, taking away their souls. This is Meiktilia. The other presides over the births of all people, granting them new souls. This is Formival. From time out of mind, people have looked to these gods to bring life and death to the world. But one day, the balance was upset. Too many souls were revived by the reckless actions of Formival, and the world descended into chaos. The weak prayed to Meiktilia for guidance, and for the strength to resist the terror and power of Formival. Those who recieved the god's blessing to take life were known as Blades. Those who blessed with the ability to seal wandering souls were known as Sealers. Would this age sink into the dark abyss? Or would they seek out the light of hope? Even the warring gods had no answer to this question...

Meiktilia -- She is praised as being the god of death and destruction, the opposite of Formival. She is known as the one who destroys and absorbs all of life. Her power is what provides chosen warriors with their abilities as a Blade and Sealer. She grows interested in them and grants them even more power than before.

Nine Asfel -- A Blade who hunts the undead. People praise and respect his outstanding swordsmanship. However, that doesn't seem to interest him at all. He prefers to live freely, without being bounded by rules or obligations. He was adopted and raised by his dead foster father, Arzelide, the King of Lorvin, when he was a small child. He usually speaks sarcastically and without regard for the feelings of the people around him. He is free-spirited and remains calm despite the attention he receives for being a Blade.

Aisha Romandine -- A Sealer with unrivaled potential. She is gifted with so much power it can become too large a burden to handle. Once, she lost control of her powers which led to a horrible incident. During this incident, innocent people were harmed. Because of her unheard of powers, she was protected by the people around her after this incident and became sheltered from the outside world. She is proud and not afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right.

Alfred Formilio -- Nine's younger brother. Just like Nine, Alfred was raised as an adopted child by King Arzelide. His skill as a Blade is also very good although he has always struggled to escape Nine's shadow, processing formidable powers as a necromancer. His personality is completely the opposite of NIne's; he is honest and blunt to a fault.

Sephi Einis -- A Lebaseth girl who was kept in captivity. Ever since she was saved by Nine, she follows him around and creates nothing but inconveniences for him.

Jacob Wybrim -- A Mechanic who used to be a Blade until an incident changed the way he saw the "duty" of the Blades. As a Mechanic, he has hidden himself away in order to focus on researching Mechanical Soldiers.

These specific roles are introduced in the RolePlay and will be used through out the Roleplay. Meiktilia is said to have blessed two types of people - Blades and Sealers - with special powers.

Blades have the unparalleled power to destroy things and creatures physically. They trust more on speed and strength then relying on their other natural abilities. Blades are born as male.

Sealers -- Sealers have multiple abilities, having magical powers to destroy the Belzed's soul, sealing their souls in another dimension. Sealers use a wide variety of magical energy, different elements. They can also heal their companions which is the Blades, weakened their opponents' defenses and/or offense. Lebaseth -- Lebaseth are half-fox, half-human hybrid. They are either Blades (Male) or Sealers (Female), by gender. They rely on speed and quickness the most. Sephie Einis is the last of her kind.

Gender: Male, meaning he's a Blade

Type: Blade

Power: Being the most outstanding Blade in Lovrin, Nine's strength in attacks and physical damage is phenominal. He believes he wants to get the job done quickly with no hesitation.

Defense: Nine can take pretty hard hits. From being poisoned by a Yaeg {A humanoid wolf warrior}, to getting paralyzed by a demon spirit. Nine's defense is not the best, but he can stand his ground.

Speed: This is where Nine's downfall starts. Most Belzeds have a upper advantage to this. Nine's speed is fast, but not fast enough to either counterattack, or is his reflexes are that fast neither.

Accuracy: Nine's accuracy in hitting Belzeds in short range are almost 100 percent, around the mid-high 90s. Sometimes it backfires because of his speed, giving the Belzeds a advantage.

Personality: He usually speaks sarcastically and without regard for the feelings of the people around him. He is free-spirited and remains calm despite the attention he receives for being a Blade.

History: A Blade who hunts the undead. People praise and respect his outstanding swordsmanship. However, that doesn't seem to interest him at all. I have an idea for a Yu-Gi-Oh! RP...based during World War II!

In 1925, the Thule Society, avid supporters of Adolf Hitler and researchers into the occult, discovered an ancient tablet in Egyptian ruins, which depicted a spiky-haired Pharaoh and one of his priests battling with monsters while three ancient beasts watched overhead. They quickly divined the location of the Pharaoh Atem's hidden vault of captured ka, and started excavating and unlocking the potential of these creatures, sealing them within special tarot cards. Four years later, Adolf Hitler won the Chancellorship of Germany in an overwhelming landslide, possibly due to the fact that he possessed the mind-bending Millennium Rod. He quickly started to rebuild his country into a military power, while discriminating against minorities, like Jews, blacks, homosexuals, and psychics, who could prove a threat to Hitler's new ka-powered regime due to their natural affinity with the beasts, and their resistance to his Millennium Rod.

However, across the Channel, the British were gearing up for war as well, having discovered a treasure trove of ka in War of the Roses-era ruins, as well as information on how some of these monsters were distributed across Europe after the Crusades. Edward VIII and Stanley Baldwin were quick to not only quick to find those that could summon and control these beasts, but they staged a daring operation to steal the Millennium Items from underneath the Nazis' noses. The mission was partially successful, securing the incomplete Millennium Puzzle, the Millennium Scale, and the Millennium Key. The Puzzle was sent to America for study, while the Key and Scale were kept in England. When the Germans figured out who stole their Millennium Items, they distributed the items among their allies, Germany keeping the Rod and Eye while Italy received the Necklace and Japan was given the Ring.

Now, it's 1942. Japan has taken Hawaii and is poised to strike the US' West Coast. General Patton is pushing towards Nazi-held Egypt to possibly find out more about the "Egyptian God Cards" the Nazis are trying to resurrect, while the British and Soviets are holding off powerful German offensives with mixed results. The fate of the world might rest in the hands of a young Japanese ex-pat, Solomon Motou, and his ability to solve the Millennium Puzzle...

 

 

The RP will not have Synchro or Xyz Monsters, and will simply be a throwback to the old days.

I've gotten tired of the 5D's plot being repeated over and over again. So I am changing things up.

No Signers. No Synchros or Xyzs. And no Turbo Dueling.

We'll be kicking it old school. VERY old school. So old school, in fact, that we're not even going to even bother with the actual card game.

Remember Millennium World? Remember how the monsters just...fought? Well, I'm bringing that back. In spades.

It has been 20 years since the old war of roses. I am the only remaining one alive after that war. Our champion, the great rose duelist, had chosen to side with the remaining Rose Crusaders for power. His body has shaped into something new and terrible. We are now more desperate than ever before. This is a calling to all dueling champions across all centuries. We need to defeat the old Rose Duelist. He plans to create a "Green Rose", an artificial rose with the power of the 16. We have but one of the original rose cards, and if we lose it, we lose. We must defeat the new Prince, and bring the true throne holder back into power. I will not be joining you, for as I write this, I can hear the pounding of horrid fiends.

 

There is a new perfect rule we Englishmen play by. In this world, you set traps, cast spells and summon creatures. The monster closest to your soul will represent you, and as you win that monster will begin to gain new powers. The only difference is that there's no timely matter for conducting battle. The perfect rule has become imperfect.

 

Creatures are cast at a rapid pace by our enemies. We must rely on sorcery now more than ever. Our greatest tacticians are captured, which is why I am sacrificing myself to cast a spell of protection amongst our beautiful rose card. I've thrown this card into the ocean, only to be awoken once you arrive. I have with me a certain set of decks. Choose one that speaks to your soul.
