Erm, hi. Uh, so I have an RP that isn't getting to many requests to join, but I can tell many people like it because there are two main RPs out there based around the same thing (Pokemon), and I was thinking they wouldn't join because of there being two "Similar" RPs out there, but then the guy in charge of one of those got upset when I said I might lock it, saying it was a good idea, so I took it as a hint that I was doing something right and original, but I still only have three other members, plus I have over 200 views on it. Any suggestions?

Well, alright, first off, the thingie is in my siggie (I updated it today, so the link DOES work). Now, it takes place in a new region called the Cegro Region, and there are two rival factions there: Team BrightShine and Team DeepShadow. They wish to bathe the world in eternal light or grip it in eternal darkness, respectively. Then, there are the Gym Leaders (one of which is taken), the Elite 4, and the Champion. And finally, there are regular trainers. Now, we've got the DeepShadow Leader-Guy, the 4th or 5th Gym Leader, and two regular trainers (One of which broke the rules but I let him slide for reasons I cannot determine, the other being me.) Then there are some Clauses...

Colour Clause: One may have a MAX of 1 Shiny/ Alternately Coloured Pokemon (Applies to ALL Trainers).

Evolution Clause: Evolution doesn't heal your Pokemon by any means. Also, strength is increased to about 2.3x original strength, not exponentially.

Now, I understand these clauses might make it difficult for someone to join, so if you can help with maybe making them more user-friendly, I would appreciate it. Rest of the stuff is on the thread.

MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! C'mon FinalFan, don't be a sap! Give the guy a break (and me as well). To the fellow RPer member with the Pokemon idea:

 

Well I don't wanna sound like a "I know what I'm doing" type of guy, but if anything, I seen many RPs that were/is/are based on a franschise such as Kingdom Hearts, Yugioh, and Pokemon. But what makes them different from other RPs in the same name is how appealing it is. Take for for example, I see 3 Pokemon RPs that are vaguely simalur, but I choose 1 only. Why? Well it's probably because it was the most appealing to me.

 

The way to get people into applying for your RP, is simply how different it is from other Pokemon RPs out there.

Basically what I just said, you gotta make it appealing to the...er RPer.

 

 

My Story:

 

Well right now, I have 3 RPs being planned as I speak, but aren't scheadule for release till later this year. One of them is my own idea, and the most beloved series loved by you all; F.A.R.-R.E.B.O.O.TH, a Witchblade related one, and a Kingdom Hearts one as well. But my problems is that my computer was hit with a virus, so now I have to resort to my school's computer, which isn't reliabe anymore. With that being said, I was wondering of actually going to the Clubs & Organization section, and create a place where people could discuss their storries there, and planned them.

 

Now it may sound like Rinne's Public Planning thread, but the only difference that I can spot in my mind, is that we would actually discuss it further than just a simple description. The other point of it, is also too help out the person in need, with much detail. The last reason for this idea, is too simply advertise a RP.

 

For example, some pretisage RP maker (which will be me someday) is famous for making RPs, he realeases plans about, hype builds it, and so-on-and-so-forth. As well as simply advertise it in the club/organization (13).

 

To be honest, I wasn't sure what place to actually tell anybody this in the RP section, so I came here instead. Apologizes to anyone whom this may offend (namely FinalFan, since mainly everything I do in this thread is considered ADVERTISING!!! Even though it's not!!!)
