I'm looking for some advice on my current BLEACH role-play. It's non-cannon and I'm looking for ways to improve it:

 

The year is 2018. The tithes between Soul Society worlds are non existent; each Soul Reaper, Captain Commander and the like, stand for only their Soul Society. Currently, the greatest raining Soul Society to date, belongs to Germany. Hauptmann, or Captain Commander, Lucas Eberstark, has a driven compassion to cure the entire human world of sickness, and has assigned more than 3000 medical Soul Reapers to create the ultimate medicine. Lepers and other various diseases have grown out of control, and are destroying the spirit particles in the human worlds, which is having a very negative side effect on Soul Reapers that enter the human world.

 

Unfortunately, his plan has backfired. From giving birth to what he believed the ultimate cure, he gave birth to the ultimate disease: Angesteckt. Those who were in the development laboratory at the time of the massive implosion were found alive, but their very souls began to drain of life. Lucas' daughter, head researcher of the Angesteckt disease, was the first to be infected. As we lie next to her on her death bed, asked of her one last request. He requested that she return in another life.

 

His wish was soon granted. Though he watched his daughter Angela and the other 3000 scientists and medical Soul Reapers buried, he was sure this was no illusion. Three days later, in the dead of night, she returned to him, bloodied and beaten, with her Zanpaktou in hand. She was covered in the mold of the dead, her flesh eaten away by the spirit land; as was her Zanpaktou. It was corroded, and covered in black moss.

 

Angela suddenly summoned her shikai, and in it's state, was also corroded and dead. She stabbed her father in the heart, and as the blade was drawn back from his flesh, black spirit particles began to enter Lucas' body, eating away at his soul. And by taking her father's life, she has unleashed the greatest plague of all time. Lucas soon began to infect the remainder of his Soul Society, then proceeded to break free. Angesteckt has currently engulfed all of the Western Hemisphere, and most of the Eastern Hempisphere. The only Soul Societies remaining belongs to Japan, Russia. Slowly the infection, Angesteckt, is spreading. Will the remaining Soul Societies disperse their differences to find a cure? Or will they each be overrun and destroyed? One. By. One.

That's why I'm looking for way's to improve it. I could always dissasociate BLEACH, but I'd have to find a good way of creating two decent, separate unions. Or, maybe I could use a series of original characters?

I could use some feedback on this idea for a Yu-Gi-Oh RP if anybody could help me out with that.

 

"When the portal first opened, nobody knew what to do or what to make of it. Most people didn't even believe it was real, until it was to late for them..."

 

For those few who survived the first few days in this strange world, came to realize where the portal had taken them. Somehow, this portal had taken them into the Spirit World, the world where the Duel Monsters lived and ruled. But the monsters weren't happy to see humans in their world. So the monsters began to "get rid of" and human they could get ahold of. The rest of the humans, found that their duel monsters they had used as cards in the real world stayed true to them. So now, as the humans are understanding how this world works, it begins to fall into darkness. A mysterious Shadow King has taken over the realm and has made an army of his own duel monsters, mostly fiendish creatures, and now he is slowly taking over the rest of this Spirit Realm. So the humans who got dragged into this world must now team up with the duel monsters and wage war against the Shadow King and his armies.

 

 

Any thoughts? Basically in this RP, the characters would have to go to war against acctual Yu-Gi-Oh monsters to free the realm and find a way back home. For example, if a character was walking through a wild forest, and ran into a Battle Ox. It would begin trying to "get rid of" them by swinging his ax at them, so they would have to find a way to overpower him either by themselves, with the help of other humans, or with the help of "good" duel monsters who will serve them.

 

Ok well I think thats everything I needed to say, so any feedback/suggestions would be appreciated.

UPDATE: Many changes made, and I'd like some feedback please.

Currently, the strongest raining National Army, and most technolgicaly advanced country to date, belongs to China. Yībān, or General, Mǎ xiū Shǐmìsī, has a driven compassion to cure the entire human world of sickness, and has assigned more than 3000 of the country's best doctors to create the ultimate medicine. Lepers and other various diseases have grown out of control, and are destroying the very fabric holding a nation together. Morale is at an all time low, food and supplies are being consumed at high rates, and are too expensive to be traded or bought from other countries. This has caused an outbreak in cries for war from country to country, throughout Earth.

 

Meanwhile, Mǎ xiū Shǐmìsī's plan has backfired. From giving birth to what he believed the ultimate cure, he gave birth to the ultimate disease: Gǎnrǎn. Those who were in the development laboratory at the time of the massive implosion were found alive, but their very souls began to drain of life. Shǐmìsī's daughter, head researcher of the Gǎnrǎn disease, was the first to be infected. As he lie next to her on her death bed, asked of her one last request. He requested that she return in another life.

Ānjí lā suddenly ran her clean hand over the bloody one, and as she did so, it's shape was manipulated. It became a three bladed dagger, which she used to stab her father in the heart, and as the blade was drawn back from his flesh, black blood began pour into Shǐmìsī's body, eating away at his soul. And by taking her father's life, she has unleashed the greatest plague of all time. Shǐmìsī soon began to infect the remainder of his country, bringing each victim back to life in the three day process, then proceeded to break free. As time went on over a year, some who were simply harmed by the infected, and lived, began to mutate, with amazing destructive capabilities. Super Human strength, sound manipulation, and even some more strange strengths, such as shadow and fire manipulation.

 

 

Yet still, Gǎnrǎn has currently engulfed all of the Western Hemisphere, and most of the Eastern Hempisphere. The remaining survivors have gathered in Japan; but of course, they still cry for war for their fallen brethren in the outbreak. Each soldier or mutated survivor has their own reasons for gathering at Japan. Slowly the infection, Gǎnrǎn, is spreading. Will the remaining survivors disperse their differences to find a cure? Or will they each be overrun and destroyed? One. By. One.

It's actually a good plot, but it;s been implemented many times before. I'm sure it could see some good action, but only if you can implement something besides real live duel monsters.
