The premise is that there were six powerful alien species that fought against the Light of Destruction and its legions of Aliens and robots several hundred years before GX. These aliens were the Gemknights, Lavals, Ritua, Daigusta, Vairon, and Inverz, each one the embodiment of an Attribute's true power. They were eventually defeated, but they managed to seal their vast abilities into six mystic sigils scattered across their homeworlds, and set back the Light's influence of Earth by a few centuries.

About a millenium later, in the year 2069 AD, the Terran Confederation, mainly led by the Divine Chinese Imperium (DCI) the New World Coalition (NWC), and the Freehold of Neo Domino (FND), has helped rebuild the world after the devastating Yliaster War, and advanced mankind to other worlds. The Terran Confederation now has colonies in both of own Solar System and other systems, with the farthest completed colony being Alshain III around Beta Aquilae, thanks to the Adats-Fudo Zero Point Folddrive, or "Ener-D Drive".

Interestingly, humanity has discovered only one active alien species, the relatively unintelligent Glith, who live around Zeta Reticuli. They used to be part of a much larger empire that is now defunct as of several decades ago. The only other things that are left are sets of alien ruins scattered across Known Space.

But, the 5th Terran Cup, held every five years in Central Domino, is coming up in less than a year's time, and duelists across Known Space are preparing for the

But something has happened on a new colony around 31 Aquilae that was being formed by Dr. Victoria "Tori" Atlas. After a set of strange ruins was discovered on the recently-dubbed Apogee, a world bathed in constant twilight, the colony's ansible and transportal stopped working, Now the colony on nearby Alshain III has stopped responding, and whatever has originated on Apogee is working its way towards Sol. To make matters worse, an odd masked duelist named "Harlequin" who can inexplicably bend space and time has started to give out these strange metal tins to the latest generation of Signers.

Can these new Signers, using literally alien cards, solve the mystery of this menace before it's too late for the human race?!?

I was thinking about a Fantasy RP in another Universe...

The story is as follow:

In this world there is five planes of existence; Panthea (also known as Real World), Eden, Wrathis, the Anti-Life and the Elemental Plane (also known as the Shattered Isles or the Elemental Maelstrom).

In ancient times a group of renegade Daemon arrived on Panthea from Wrathis. These Daemon, tired of the brutal ways of the other Daemonkin started cultivating the lands of Panthea. However, Nihilion, the ironhand ruler of Wrathis didn't like deserters, and thus sent the Orcish legion to attack panthea. Seeing how peaceful the Pantheans had become, the Skybound, the dominant race of Eden, arrived on panthea to help fight back towards the Orcs. In the end, the majority Orcs retreated to Wrathis. However, some of them remained on Panthea where they had found a new deity to serve instead of Nihilion; Halion (also known as "the Sun")

The Panthean Daemons, now calling themselves humans, befriended the Skybound and to a degree the Halion Orcs (altough tension remained between the two races). The Skybound teached the humans the way of magic, and for years peace remained between the three races.

However, things would change. Even though they were now viewed as a peaceful people some humans regained their former Daemon instincts and opened a portal to Wrathis, bringing a second Orc invasion onto Panthea. The Union of Panthea (Halion orcs, humans and Skybound) barely defeated the Second Wrathis invasion, but due to this incident the humans was stripped of all magic abillities. Most Skybounds went back to Eden and closed all portals leading to it.

Without magic, humans sought for new ways to get power. This kept on for two thousand years.

Present day; Panthea is now a technical world with big cities, but the natural beauty still remains. The Halion Orcs mostly lives in houses built on human junkyards, but some of them has earned a big profit from solar energy. The Skybounds who remained on Panthea is not common, but their numbers are increasing.

More info on the races and a more straight plot will be provided will I decide to make the RP.

SSD, a few helpful hints:

1. If you're gonna do another Academy RP, don't have entrance exams, start on the island after everything's been assigned.

2. Have a clearly defined antagonistic force, not just these mysterious people that show up, duel, lose, and vanish.

3. Don't jump right into a supernatural threat, GX and 5D's started out with an arrogant douche for the villains of the first arc. Right away in your RP, it should be more about character advancement than plot advancement, getting everyone acquainted and seeing which RPers are gonna stay with the RP.

4. Decide right away if the RP takes place in something similar to the anime universe, or in its own universe. If the former, then all one of a kind anime cards are one of a kind, and thus can't be used, in the RP. If the latter, then stick to either the Traditional or Advanced format banlist.

5. Clearly hash out whether or not you want Duel Spirits and remember that the ability to see Duel Spirits is rare. In the whole of Yu-Gi-Oh! canon, only seven people have been confirmed to be able to see Duel Spirits, so limit this ability only to two or three significant characters in your RP. However, as GX established, pretty much everyone has a Duel Spirit, even if they can't see it, so don't shy away from that.

6. Don't hash every single little detail out in the intro. If you want that much fine control, make a fanfic. The intro post of your RP should consist of the general overview of the plot, maybe a little more detailed than what your characters might know. However, you should have, either on paper or in the back of your mind, a fairly detailed sequence of events that you want the RP to follow, but you should also make this adaptable to the other characters' ideas.
