It's like a crossover between Yu-Gi-Oh and Kingdom Hearts. Where the Heartless attack the Yugioh World. Mind you, the thread is already up but I'm barely getting enough people.

So, Joey Miles and I were brainstorming for an idea for a Halo RP, and I came up with this idea:

Most Halo RPs on this site take place after the games, but there's almost three decades of fighting in the Human-Covenant War. Why not put the RP somewhere in there?

So, we're placing our RP in 2544, a little over 8 years before the events of the original Halo Trilogy. The RP will concern a campaign in the Sigma Draconis system as the UNSC tries to obtain victory after the demoralizing loss of their hero, Admiral Cole, just months earlier.

OK so I haven’t really written a RP before. I'm trying to create a Naval RP titled Kings of the Sea. I'm thinking of having it take place on a planet covered in 95% water. Time wise it would be the around the Viking Age for the purpose of ships and weapons available. Other than that I have no Idea about the plot. I have the applications for captains and crew but feel like their missing something from them. Any ideas on the Plot and the Applications?

That has good potential but it might be limited with just axes and swords IMO

yeah it might be a little limiting weapon wise, but I would rather focus person to person combat not ship to ship. If I allow muskets and other early guns, then i would have to allow cannons. I'm also now trying to decide if I want to have magic in it or not.

Hello all I was thinking of starting a Yu-Gi-Oh rpg but this is the first time I have made one. The story is sorta going with my two sets that are in progress the Omega Soul set and the Alpha Soul set and their story that goes with them. So practically the player i guess would start off in duel academy and then they would notice weird things going. Eventually the player would have discover an evil plot and so and so and then they would have to find the owners of the two sets/deck. Omega Soul and The Alpha Soul. Then the story of my sets come in how the alpha and omega soul were just regular souls until they collected enough souls to recreate the perfect heart(the story was based off of my idea for a Kingdom Hearts thing) until the alpha soul became corrupt and absorbed some of the half of the energy of the Perfect Heart. So to stop the alpha soul the omega soul absorbed the half of the energy. Then a huge battle started blah blah blah the was no winner the souls were sealed in the cards along with two of four of their best friends the perfect souls. So anyway the player needs to find the owners of the two decks(who turn out to be sibblings) and make them work together to create the Alphega Deck(fusion of the omega deck and the alpha deck) to stop the baddies. The only problem is that i don't know how the duels will work and stuff since in real duel the cards you draw are random.

 

So the story is rough but overall i wouldn't mind your feedback to see if you guys would join

Oh this isn't really a crossover off Yu-Gi-Oh the story of my decks derived from an idea I had then I changed it to a Yu-Gi-Oh style.

What part of it says its a crossover since i don't add heartles,nobodies or the main characters of the series? The only thing that has a somewhat of a crossover is the perfect heart since it is the only reference of Kingdom Hearts since it's a heart and that part is more of the back story of the origin of Alpha Soul deck and the Omega Soul deck. The entire story of the rpg has nothing to do with Kingdom Hearts. Also i am not trying to sound offended and trying to defend my story.

I am sorry that i seem to be on the defense i am just really confused cause the only part that i see as a somewhat of a crossover was in the story of my two decks which is just a back story it won't actually be in the rpg.

A part of it is simply inspired by Kingdom Hearts, I don't see any Heartless/Nobodies/Keyblades in there.

Heliosora, the plot is pretty solid, but it does have a few very common cliches. I apologize for calling it a crossover. Try something no one has thought of before, and to do that, look around the RP forum and check out the top RPs. What makes them successful?
