LOL HAHAHAHA!!! OMG that reply must've exploded merciful's brain from anger! LOL that made my day.

 

Anyways Merciful' date=' the reason that people don't wanna join your RP (and many other original RPs) is because of 3 main reason (at least, I like to think so). [spoiler=Reasons']1) MOST people are dumb and don't like original RPs. They stick with pokemon and yugioh because all they have to do is get in, and after that their lack of skill doesn't matter. Thus they can get all the FTW and legendary pokemon they want. 2) Your RP may not be that good (IDK, I haven't seen it. This is a rule for ANY original RP). This statement is obvious though. If your RP is bad and original, it will most likely die, or a group of retards will join that, for who knows what reason, like it. If your RP is bad and un-original, for example, *generic yugioh RP made on YCM with "god, beast, or wicked," in it's name walks in*, then people will still join because they want to bust out the god cards ASAP. and 3) Sometimes un-original RPs are actually GOOD! I know, right? Was NOT expecting that. But seriously, a good enough RP maker can find a way to either put a spin on an un-original idea that makes it good, or simply can manage the RP and weed out the noobs that make 3 lined posts and bios enough to make an RP with high-quality RPers, essentially removing the need for anything original.

Why is it that half the RPs I make die before they get off the ground? I suppose being original doesn't make anyone join.

 

If you're original' date=' little people join, but if you use something like 'Pokemon', 'Digimon', 'Death Note', 'Final Fantasy', or something like that, THOUSANDS join. Seriously, I seriously need a seriously serious answer to this.

Big names sell, in both titles and members. I really can't help you in getting more members, but try to make a reputation for yourself. The people that do join, though, are most likely those who know a high-quality RP when they see it and are good RPers in their own rights, as compared to droves of uneducated n00bs.

*Shrug* Speaking from personal opinion, I generally don't have a problem finding people to join when I make an original RP. Maybe it's just because people are used to seeing me around or something, but yeah, I almost always get a satasfactory number of applicants. Admittedly, nothing close to the zergrush good Pokemon/Digimon/Yugioh/whatever gets, but fair enough.

 

I think it's just because, when an RP is of a series that already exists, people already are aware it'll contain something they like, and they're not taking as much of a gamble as they would be with an original RP.

 

By the way, I feel vaguely offended by the implication that an original RP is somehow more original (...in the other sense of the term, naturally) than a series roleplay. Just because something borrows an existing canon doesn't mean that they aren't unique. Of course, it means that they have a greater capacity for laziness, but simply having the ability to more more unoriginal isn't the same as ACTUALLY being more unoriginal.

"Calumon zoom zoom calumon zoom" calumon runs around Primary Village looking at the baby digimon. "Wow I used to be that small" Leomon looks on as he attends to the babies. "See you later Leomon" Calumon said as he flew away "Come back anytime" Leomon said as he waived bye. "Where should i go now?" Calumon sit in a tree deciding where to go next. "Why don't you come see me?". Calumon jumps as he hears the strange voice "Who are you?" calumon asked as he looked around. " My name is D.V. and I'm lonely will you come and be my friend?". Calumon jumps up "yes I will best your best friend!". Calumon starts to fly "Tell where your at so i can find you". " I am at the Dark Continent". Calumon Flys their where are you?" A hand comes up and grabs calumon "W-Whats going on?.......Ah~". "You belong to me now "Light of Digivolution" we will be friends until the end!".

3 months after the disappearence of calumon the 3 celestial digimon Seraphimon, Cherubimon, and Ophanimon where attacked by a mysterious digimon calling itself the "Cyber Shaman" as the battles raged on he 3 Celestial digimon fell one by fone. as the cyber shaman stood of the bodies of the fallen digimon it began absorbing their data. when the last bit o data was gone it digivolved. ""I'm Still hungry I guess i will have the Sovereigns for Lunch". The evil digimon defeated and absorbed the Sovereigns one by one until it reached Fanglongmon "So it was you who killed my Sovereigns?! Fanglongmon said as it looked at the small digimon "Yes and you are next! the digimon charged at Fanglongmon the battle lasted for days, but Fanglongmon lost to the Power of the small digimon as he was being absorbed Fanglongmon released the The ten Spirits into the digital world. With the last of his strength he used his digi-cores to bind some of the cyber shaman's power into the form of a Digi-egg and sent it to the Human world.

You have been transported to the digital world by an unknown force and giving and Item called a "Digi-Glove". which side will you fight for Good or evil?.

Once he was sufficiently awed by the unbearable cuteness of the Digis, he waved ecstatically towards Leomon, who was watching this spectacle while feeding a Frimon. "See you later, Leomon!" Calumon said as he flew away

"Come back anytime" Leomon said, giving the embodiment of Digivolution a gesture somewhere between a friendly wave and a military salute.

 

"Where should i go now?" Calumon asked himself, plopping down on the branches of a slumbering Cherrymon

 

"Why don't you come see me?".

 

Calumon jumps as he hears the strange voice "Who are you?" He asked, looking down at the still sleeping Cherrymon.

 

" My name is D.V. and I'm lonely will you come and be my friend?".

 

Calumon jumps up "Yes, I will be your best friend!". The naive Digimon said, flying off Cherrymon, careful not to awake the sleeping bug Digimon next to him. "Tell where you're at so I can find you." The puffball said, shouting louder than he needed.

 

"I am at the Dark Continent."

 

Calumon, undeterred by the obvious warning sign, immediately flew to the Dark Continent, getting help from a Wizardmon and a Witchmon to expedite the process "OK, I'm here! Where are you?" As soon as he finished speaking, a hand shot up from the ground and grabbed the small Digimon by the ear. "W-Whats going on?.......Ah--!"

 

"You belong to me now 'Light of Digivolution' we will be friends until the end!".

 

 

So far it looks a lot like a Tamers rip off crossed with that game with the Chaos- Digimon with a dash of Adventure mixed in

i suck at making plots.

However,it is a zombie Apocolypse,however,because the survivors got partly infected,a random person of them turns into a zombie 1 night,and when he is about to be killed,he returns back into a human.Also,there are some special zombie's too,like bulletproof zombie,riot zombies,Melee weapon zombie's,etc.Also,at a given moment,somebody may choose to turn into a full zombie.

...that sounds pretty weird... anyways, I had an idea for an original RP, but IDK if it would be any good. It could either be A. Terrible and humiliating, or B. Okay-Above Average. Either way, I'm not risking posting it here just yet. Also, I'm actually getting work done on the megaman RP. It's not really something to brag about, but I am still surprised I summoned the strength to not be totally lazy like normally.
