I know about the Christian thing. But I know there are a lot of people who can't stand the Christian religion, so I made it a twist.

 

Sparta is over used and boring. I need something better than that.

That was a list format, not sentence format, so really my only @#$% up was not capitalizing "Line 6"

 

And yes, a lot of people don't like Christianity, so maybe just remove all religious subtext entirely, or make up your own unseen divine being to give the characters the ability to fight the Horsemen

lol well maybe you should try replacing the gods with angelic or demonic characters, since it fits with the whole idea of the four horsemen.

 

Also, I think I'll continue with my megaman RP idea. Basically you are a person with a netnavi (duh) and you will go through the events of the RP (you'll find out what those are once I make the plot) with your netnavi (like I said, not much done yet, soooo... I can't really give much detail). But there wouldn't be a bass or megaman, but I might use some villains from the battle network series.

Two things. 1) I said I need to make something about the plot, and when I get around to it, I will post it. 2) Your mass effect RP plot seems boring because of the fact that the plot is just a bunch of races on a ship that want to kill each other. What role does the new universe play in it? Also, it gives no hints of what will happen. From what I'm getting at is that its going to be WAY more random than anything I could've come up with.

well, you don't have to say EXACTLY what's going to happen, but a hint maybe? like, an unknown threat approaches? IDK. Anyways, I will DEFINITELY need some help with my RP, but I don't feel like doing it out here. More over a PM thing. But so far, I know there will be different arcs. Things like, the dark-chips and nebula, cybeasts, and many other surprises.

 

Also, Rinne, Psyren? I'll check it out, but nvr heard of it, and I didn't even know you posted an rp 0_0 anyways, I'll take a look.

I wanna see a good, Yu-Gi-Oh RP that isn't surrounded by obtaining "da most powerful cards evar" or "god cards" or anything like that. Something with actual plot and competitive, real dueling.

 

But I'm not creative enough to create one.

Try out Alpha? It's pretty much a subversion of every Yu-Gi-Oh RP trope (It's set in the far (as in 3+ CENTURIES beyond 5D's) future, you're in another galaxy, on various planets, and at least one of the villains is an AI program.

 

Or else I've been thinking of making a Planet Series or Malefic RP (Using the movie effects for the latter and featuring new ones), so you could give me some ideas for that one and I'll see what I can do

Actually, the Alpha Centauri System, where Alpha is set, is an actual place, about 4.5 Light-Years away from our own solar system. Scientists haven't discovered planets around it yet, so I simply decided to add planets, and allow players to do the same.

meh. I've been thinking about making a yugioh RP with a REAL plot that, like you said ghost, isn't surrounded by god cards and such. But I can't get myself to do it alone. I guess I feel that actually making it by myself isn't worth the time it would take to. I even have a plot idea (not written up though), and I'm guessing that if I made it, I would feel differently after it was posted, but for some reason I just don't feel like taking the time to make one. The fact that I have a plot idea too shows that I can be as lazy as I want to when I feel like it xD Now that I think about it, I have ideas for lots of RPs, but I'm too lazy to make them by myself.

 

Also, the malefic thing sounds okay, but you would need a lot more (at least, for the idea I got when I read your post) to ensure a good, lasting RP. Plus, I could see some problems with an RP like that. Also, planet series? Plz don't tell me you mean saturn and mars and those angel card things that all represent planets -_- I've been thinking about trying to make a Yugioh RP where people don't just talk in a class room the whole RP. An RP where there's enough action to keep everyone satisfied and enough to make sure everyone can be involved. I can't tell you how many times I've felt pissed that an owner, on ANY RP site, has pretty much made it so that his RP ends up involving about 3 people max.

I know what you mean. Still... coming up with a good plot seems to be the hardest part. I'll keep thinking about it. But the setting would be important. What would be a good, new location that would be fun for everyone? I've been thinking the duel monsters' world (well... more like worlds, since I would probably separate them in certain ways), but IDK how well that would turn out.

I checked it out. Looks pretty good. Like I said, before I do something, I'm pretty lazy though -_- if I actually do it, like join an RP, then I do really well. But until that moment, I'm useless. *Thinks to himself* Man this low-self esteem is making me hungry. ...Time for a snack! *munch munch munch*

Why is it that half the RPs I make die before they get off the ground? I suppose being original doesn't make anyone join.

 

If you're original, little people join, but if you use something like 'Pokemon', 'Digimon', 'Death Note', 'Final Fantasy', or something like that, THOUSANDS join. Seriously, I seriously need a seriously serious answer to this.
