You got it; his flames will only last for a max of 10 minutes if he doesn't use any fire-based attacks. Every attack will decrease the time he has by a minimum of 45 seconds. But I don't think he has too much control. He doesn't have the Contacts like Tsuna, so he can't perfect the X-burner of either form. And he can't use Zero point Breakthrough either, but if you think he's overpowered, then so be it.

OoC: Alright Guys Let's do this!!

Quickus looks out over the horizon, watching the boat that has his students on board. Quickus Cambodia smiles knowing that this year will be a very eventful year. 'Well I must get everything ready,' Quickus thinks with a smile as goes to help finishing setting up for the students arrival.

Tiberius walks out of his cabin and on to the deck to get a good view of the Island. Tiberius remembers that this his dream and that he will try to be the best fighter since Quickus. Tiberius couldn't wait to meet Quickus and hear about his legendary fights. Tiberius, also wondered who would be teaching this school? 'Well,' Tiberius thinks letting out a sigh. 'I guess we'll find out once we get there.'

Ryu wakes up from his nap and looks out towards the island. "Hmmm..." he mumbles. "Guess there's my home for the next year or so." He closes his eyes. "Will I get stronger? Will I make new friends? New enemies?" He yawns. 'Well, whatever the case,' he thinks. 'No use worrying about it until we get there.' He falls back onto his bed and falls back asleep.

Getsurai streched and yawned. "Its been a quiet day so far. I haven't gotten one threat yet." he said. "Well, I guess theres not really much to do. I wonder what I should do now?" he said walking down the street. He was still cautious about how he walked and moved, cuz he knew that he could still get jumped at any second.

Merin spent most of the day in her cabin resting or exercising. She didn't bring any of her video games, and this was the next best thing when she needed to clear her mind. After all, she saw *that* person, and he was coming to this Elemental's Circle as well.

He doesn't seem to be the type to accept instruction... Merin thought to herself. She shook her head. She didn't want to dwell on that thought any longer. Instead, she decided to grab her jacket and walk outside to admire the scenery.

The island was finally coming into view. Merin noticed another student further down, Tiberius, who was also staring at the island. Suddenly, something dawned on her.

Are there any other girls on this ship? Merin did not see any other girls on the ship besides herself. Merin sighed. I'm sure there are some at the school, and there are more men in the league than women, she thought, still a little nervous.

Merin's eyes drew downward towards her bare hand. Although nervous, the thought of mastering her ability and all of its applications excited her. Looking at the island once again , she knew that she wanted to see this though. She couldn't help but chuckle at the thought.

Looks like I'm going to officially be a Fighter, just like my family wanted.

Jarred opened his eyes. It was morning; he knew, because he got the strange urge to continue sleeping. He questioned why he was up so early.

He remembered that earlier that night he had trouble sleeping. He couldn't go to sleep.

Jarred slowly stood strait on the tree top that he had slept on.

He took a deep breath, then sighed.

Kris was sat in a chair, staring out at sea. "Hmph, This better make my stronger. I need to be able to control 'Him'." Kris said to himself. He looked around and saw a girl looking at her hands, How weird, I bet she hasn't got used to her powers yet. Guess i'm 'lucky' for being born with my powers. He thought, he looked past her and saw a boy staring ahead of the boat, I wonder what he's looking at? He thought. He got up out of his chair to see what was ahead and saw the island. He walked back to his cabin to get ready. This might be entertaining, I've just got to wait and see. he thought.

"Crap," Ryu picked his hat off of his face. "I can't go to sleep anymore; guess I'm too excited." Putting his earphones around his neck, his iPod in his pocket and placing his hat on his head in a backwards fashion, Ryu walked out of his cabin and trudged up to the top of the boat to get a better view of the island. "Wow," he stated, sitting on the top of the captain's cabin. "Nice view,. looking down, he saw he wasn't the only one out and about. he saw two other people. Lying down, he looked up at the sky. 'Beautiful,' he thought, placing his earphones on his ears and turning his iPod on.

It had not felt like a long ride, but he knew this next year would be instrumental to the success of his family, earlier on he thought he noticed someone, but he wasn't sure. He stood up and looked out his window."Almost there....then...I'll show the world what I can do." he looked down towards the deck, filled with other fighters, but he scoffed, none of them interested him. "they look weak, but hopefully one of them..."

Shadow, bored, went out of his cabin, slamming the door shut behind him as he went onward the deck. Almost every fighter was there, watching how the lonely island came closer and closer every second. With a quick glance, he discovered the impatience in their eyes, already starting to think how weak should they be.

"Finally..." Shadow muttered, making his way to a lonely side of the deck.

He looked down, the vast blue sea inspired a mystic calmness unexplainable to everyone, the sun shining down it made the water sparkle.

OoC: Good job with your opening guys.

Tiberius stares at the Island for another couple of minutes. Then, hearing a sound, He turns and finds a girl looking around. 'Wow' Tiberius thought. 'She must be a amazing fighter to be accepted into Quickus Academy. Maybe I should talk to her.' Mustering up his shyness towards girls in general, He walks over towards her.

"Hello," Tiberius says in a very polite tone. "I'm Tiberius. And who might you be?"

Merin's thoughts were interrupted by the boy ahead of her who suddenly started to talk to her.

"I'm Merin Ataska," she replied. It was almost an automatic response she gave whenever someone introduced themselves formally. Using the first and last name to introduce oneself was not very uncommon, but for Merin, it was one of many Ataska family traditions.

I wonder what he wants. Maybe he wants to fight before we even get to the island. Merin's mind went off imagining what Tiberius wants from her. Of course, more than half the things she thought of were unpleasant.

"Did... you need something?" Merin managed to ask the question that would hopefully discern some of his intentions.

Merin almost cut Tiberius off when he said he wanted to talk to another fighter, and ask 'Why me, then?' Fortunately, she stopped herself, remembering that she was practically the only girl on the boat. Of course she stood out. She had half a mind to go back into her cabin and wait to reach the island, but Tiberius seemed to be a half decent person, so she decided to answer his question.

"Well, Ataska fighters are pretty well known for their skill, especially before the Elemental Ring became popular." Merin was proud of her family history, even though she wasn't very interested in fighting until recently. "Even in the Elemental Ring, Ataska fighters performed well despite being without powers." Albert Ataska, Merin's father, still competes in the Elemental Ring, though he only wins about 40% of his fights. "Well," Merin added, "I have powers, of course, which is why I'm coming to Elemental's Circle."

That's two more things to make me stand out! Merin stared off into the space behind Tiberius as she came to this realization. Not only am I an Ataska, I am the first one born with a power! She especially wanted to go back into her cabin now. Who knows who else will come up and start talking to her. Or wanting to fight her.

"Oh of Course," Tiberius says. "You must be very proud of you family. Your family name is mention a lot in 'The greatest Martial Art Families in the Millennium ' Book. That's cool." At this point, Tiberius notices Merin anxiousness. Not to make her feel out of sorts, Tiberius tries to relax her. "Don't stress out. You be fine here. You look like a great fighter to me. I would love to accept a challenge from you any day. Well Since you revealed a bit about yourself, would you be interested to here a tidbit of information about me? You know, to be fair?" Tiberius finishes. 'I hope we can be best friends,' Tiberius thinks to himself.

((Wonder when we will hit land...))

"Uhh... thanks, I guess." Merin was caught off guard by Tiberius' words. As he attempted to calm her down, Merin glanced around. She wasn't trying to be rude to Tiberius, but the atmosphere of the ship was unsettling. Everybody was keeping to themselves. Most people seemed disinterested in what was going on around them. Some even looked a bit hostile to the others.

Do I act like that sometimes? She couldn't help but draw parallels between her normal behavior and the behavior of everyone on the ship. It sickened her, even though she knows that her aloofness is a part of her personality. As she continued to observe the others, her eyes landed on.... him. Joseph Cruz, the one that humiliated her younger brother a few years back.

That smug little worm! Merin wasn't really paying attention to anything else at the moment. What does he think he's doing here? Maybe he's coming to be taught some common sense, hah! Once I master my ability he will...

"a tidbit of information about me? You know, to be fair?" Tiberius' questions brought Merin back to her senses. She blinked a few times, still a bit dazed from being absorbed in thought.

"Sure, sure." Merin replied, trying to focus on Tiberius now instead of Joseph. She hated when her thoughts focused on one thing like that. Especially on someone like Joseph.

OoC: I was hoping when more people will talk to each other, or we at least get some form of action, but i'll make the announcement next post.

Tiberius noticed that Merin was focused on someone else, but didn't mention it.

"Well," Tiberius says. " Quickus is actually my Idol and has always been since I was four, which was when he first started. In fact, by watching Quickus fight on the big screen, I learned to fight by that. I've also had a a really good memory. Though you won't find my memory skills in any textbook. So, what are you going to do when you meet Quickus?"

"Idol. Heh..." Shadow mumbled, making sure his words weren't heard by anyone else than himself.

Time had passed really quickly while he was thinking, more than he had expected. The imposing island stood like a impenetrable stone wall, everyone had been waiting for that very moment to come. Shadow remembered his belongings were still at his cabin, his trusted blade and his battle armor...

Enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, Shadow walked past Tiberius and Merin... He gave both a cold, analyzing glance in the corner of his eye, and then set off to his cabin. Alone, again.

Joseph was being watched, either by the guards that didn't seem to trust him, the other students that seemed to fear him, and one pair of eyes in particular, from what he saw it was the only girl in the boat, but much to his chagrin, she had quite the stare of anger on her face, after a few seconds he realized exactly who this girl was. It was the older sister of that boy he demolished in a tournament, he remembers those cold eyes that day as well, when he broke the spirit of the family in that fight. "looks like this year may be interesting after all."
