Open your eyes to the light

Hurry up before it all goes away

Oh no, here comes the night

Here and now, the darkness is here to stay

It has been almost a year since the residents of the Big Apple had been plagued with the Killer H-Virus, a vicious disease with a destructive and fast path. Most of the world had been infected with the deadly virus had spread throughout the entire world, except the one country that had warning before it's beginings.......Japan. With a protective barrier to protect the virus (And everything else) out of the land of the rising sun.

But not for long.

After the year, the virus had evolved, and taken evn more deadly forms, branching a new, elite virus, known as the H-0 Virus.

Here are the symptoms of the two branches.
There are 8 stages of the sickness.

Stage 1: The infected is fine, no symptoms.

Stage 2: The infected gets minor cold symptoms (Coughing, sneezing, headaches). (A few days after infected)

Stage 3: This infected gets a green splotch on their tongues. The splotch is painless. (A week after infected)

Stage 4: The infected begins to lose their memory, little by little. (A week and a half infected)

Stage 5: The infected becomes sudenly violent, and go a little crazy. Symptoms 2 and 3 go away. (A month infected)

Stage 6: The infected's skin begins to turn a shade of green. (5 weeks infected)

Stage 7: The infected's skin begins to fall away, being eaten away. (6 weeks infected)

Stage 8: The infected loses total loss of sanity/ reckless and homicidal behavior. The infected results to canibalism(6 weeks and 3 days infected)
Stage 1: The infected develops the common cold (Same as stage 2 in regular virus.)

Stage 2: The infected suffer slight blackouts every few hours. (After 3 days of infection.)

Stage 3: The two previous symptoms intensify with an added symptom of growing scales on the palms of your hands and feet. (A week into infection)

Stage 4: The infected have their sense of sight weakened and their sense of smell greatly magnifyed. (Two weeks into infection.)

Stage 5: The infected grow scales on their arms and legs. (18 days into infection)

Stage 6: Stages one and two dissapear allong with nearly all of the infected's sight.

Stage 7: The infected's body completly grows scaley. (Three weeks into infection.)

Stage 8: The infected begins to crave human flesh. They keep their sanity unlike the other infectants and are smarter. (A month into infection).

Stage 9: The infected grows sharp spikes around their body. They can spit the infection onto other innocent people now. (A Month and a half into infection)

NOTE!: The H-0 Virus is not as spreading as the H-virus, but once set to stage 9, infecting becomes much more accurate and likely.

ANOTHER NOTE!: Every infected person starts at stage one!

He has been trained in martial arts....that and he has a revolver hanging in a case in the living room. Yeah that's it.

Chester raised his knife to his chest, the hilt and blade already marked with the first masked figure's life.

"Just another day, isn't it Chessy," said a girl with raven hair. She carried a pistol in her righ hand.

"Ugh, not ready for your crap today, Rose. Let's just do what we always do," Chester responded to his annoying sister. And the first shots of rebelion rang through the night.

People get on. People get off. On. Off. On. Off. Endless cycle. Iisori Kota Yamamoto turned up the volume on his Zune HD. He was engulfed in the sound of rock, as he watched passers-by go about their busy day. He sighed and rubbed his eyes, streching his arms across two empty seats. This struck him as pretty odd, as the bullet train was usualy packed on weekdays. He looked at his Zune, it read in big block letters "7:28".

"Damnit," he cursed, he was running late. He was supposed to meet his friends at Tatama Records, and then head to school with them. Kota spun his head, a forceful sound catching his sensitive ears. A man not four seats away from him was in the middle of a violent coughing fit.

He was wracked by his frame, hacking into a tissue. Kota backed a few seats away from him, disgusted.

"Please arrive at Tatama soon," he muttered to himself.

A young man was anxiously browsing the selection of music in 'Tatama Records' "Kota-Chan....where are you? It's like you to be late, but not this late."

The young man, Kyosuke Izyua, or more commonly reffered to as "Kyo", kept looking at his watch waiting for his friend to arrive. "Kota-Chan...we'll be late for school at this point! Maybe I should just go on ahead..."

Soon, one of the employees, who was helping another customer, started to sneeze frantically "Gah...Flu must be going around..." Kyo said, turning the corner and heading towards the exit of the store. "Alright, Kota-Chan, if you don't get here quickly, I'll leave without you."

Kota felt the train lurch to a stop, finally. He then felt a buzzing sensation in his pocket. He flipped it open, brushing away a strand of his blue hair.

"If you don't get here soon, I'm going on ahead, I can't afford a tardy!" read a text from his friend Kyosuke.

"Well I'm here betch, just give meh a second," Kota texted back. He stood up, gathered his stuff and walked off the train. Just as he was about to to hop off, a middle-aged man, lurched forward, sneezing all over Kota.

"Ahhhishoo!", Kota was sprayed right in the face. He wanted to puke, let alone kill the guy.

"Cover your mouth you ass!" he barked at the man. He walked forward to appologise, but Kota could see another sneeze flaring up in the guy, so he booked it off the train. He ran out, and smacked right into his friend Kyo.

The doors of one of the most prestigious universities in Japan swayed open, revealing a plethora of what-seemed-to-be busy scientists and doctors, rushing from room to room. The receptionist at the main counter looked to be the only person in the facility who wasn't in a race against time.

A hand reached up from the other side of the counter, as the receptionist gave a loud shriek. She cautiously looked back over the other side, to find that the hand whom placed the paper on her counter, belonged to a small child, probably no older than 13. "Ma'am, I inquire upon a class schedule for 'Akio Ichiro', the proper documentation should be all the information you need."

"This isn't really a place for children." She said, partly laughing, as she reached for the documentation and quickly scanned over the papers. Her expression changed of mild-anger to silent surprise, as her mouth gaped open and she handed the soft-blonde boy a class schedule. As he walked toward his first class, you could hear her whispers to the other faculty.

Akio Ichiro, the child prodigy, begins his college career today.

Kyo was knocked down by Kota's force, dropping all his stuff on the cold, dirty floor, along with his body. "Ugh! Baka!" Kyo snapped at Kota as he started to pick up his books. "Watch where you're going, Kota-Chan!" Kyo soon recollected all of his items and stood up. "Alright. Now that that's over with" Kyo began to brush himself off, and then continued with his speaking.

"Kota-Chan, are you ready to go to school, we might make it. But if we're late, Oshigara-Senpai will have our heads." Kyo spoke meekly, showing his fear of their teacher. Kyo began walking, when he realized his friend, just stood in his place, as if he was petrified from just seeing a Gorgon.

"Kota-Chan...? Are you coming or what?"

Kota shook his head to clear whatever was supposedly in there. He felt sick to his stomach after the gentleman blew escriments all over him.

"Huh? Sorry, something odd happened while I was on the bus," he muttered, wiping his face, giving a slight cough. He looked to Kyo, a concerned look on his face.

"Can we skip school today? I don't feel so hot," me muttered, looking at Tatama Records. He was going to say this eitherway, if only he wasn't lying. He looked at Kyo for an answer.

"That's it! Im sick of these foriegners!"

Lily sat on the city bus that was crawling with Asian, Russian, French; basically any diffrent culture apart from her own. She had been around them too long, all on her own, no friends, it was driving her insane. As the bus stopped, at a destination she didn't even know, she jumped off quickly and into the street, which was no diffrent from the inside of the bus. She looked up at the street sign that was obviously in Japanese. She snarled at the sign in annoyance then pulled out her translation booklet that she was given at the airport.

"Ok, so it has a little line there and another going down there...Aha! Here we go, Tatama Records."

Lily shoved the hand booklet back into her bag that she carried on her left shoulder and she began to walk down the street. She took a quick glimpse at everyones faces. Almost 1 in every 5 she looked at had a pale face. She sighed to herself. She felt as if this was the worlds judgement, to cough their own heart's out as god just watched. That is, if there really is a god...

She shook away her thoughts and continued to walk on. She brushed her fringe away from her face as it was beginning to block her sight. She had to get it cut, the thing is the Hairdressers was always busy because there was so many--

"Arg!"

The angry thought was coming back again about the huge crowds and lonelyness.

"Damn this world!"

"Baka!" Kyo yelled slapping Kota's face. "You can't miss school AGAIN! Oshigara-Senpai is being very tolerable with you, you're lucky he hasn't killed you already." Kyo said matter-of-factly as he started to brush by his friend and walk toward the Bullet Train, which was bustling with people getting on and off.

"Kota-Chan..."

Turning to Kota, he continued his speaking; "If you're not feeling well enough to go to school, go home then. I cant keep looking out for you, Kota-Chan, you have to learn to be responsible on your own." Kyo sighed "But I'm going to go to school, no matter your decision" Kyo then averted his eyes towards his watch, and he saw that it read 7:45

"Oh no! 7:45 already!? Kota-Chan, make your decision quickly, or I'm going to go, I can't wait all day" Kyo stomped his feet impatiently for his friend to make his decision.

Lily pushed her way to the Bullet Train. She didn't know why she was going to get on it, but she had to waste time. She had already wasted most of her life being here anyway, so she didn't care. She came to the spot and waited, not thinking about anything else. She looked around at her surroundings and saw two tall, bulk looking boys only 2 metres away from her. She saw one had the look of impatience, the other the look of a exhausted worker. She then quickly took her eyes away from them, not wanting to stare as her mother always told her it was wrong.

She brushed away her fringe again, but it quickly fell back. She blew it in frustration and tried to ignore it. But obviously it was going nowhere, and It really pushed her buttons. "Why if I had a pair of scissors right now I would..!" Lily thought to herself angrly as she looked at the hair with a very destructive glare. She always had a short fuse when it came from being in a strange place with something wrong that didn't account for being somewhere diffrent.

Study.

Sit.

Wait.

These actions were the ones Gemin frequently did when bored. Only a disturbance in the natural order could keep him from doing this.

Study.

Sit.

Wait.

There was no boredom in Gemin's world. All he had to do was practice fencing, play mind chess against himself, or:

Study.

Sit.

Wait.

Sitting on a train, going to school. There's a test today. So:

Study.

Sit.

Wait.

"Another day, another school day, another test."

*Sigh*

Alex ran across the path to the Garden, the only place unknown by the Cali's. He slipped by the fences, & into it. He put some more stashed food in there, then ate a bit. He then ran out, carrying all the nesscesities he needed for a couple of days, & looked for a new place as the Garden was found & turned into a wasteland by the Cali's.

Alex ran for the train, taking him from England to Russia's border. He then ran & barely caught the Bullet Train. He was headed for the real destination, Japan. He awaited for it, & as he nibbled, he thought, "Yeah. This is what I need to survive."

Kota gave a red-hot glare to Kyo. He then gave an exasperated look, muttering japanese nonsense.

"Fine, I'll come with you, but can we at least stop at Ugadawa Drug Store?" He muttered to his friend, stifling a small sneeze. It just came on, but goodness he did feel crappy. He looked to the side, and saw a girl about his age. She looked lost in translation and in destination. She looked a little lost.

"Maybe I should help her," thought Kota to himself, but then turned back to Kyo.

"It's my last offer, Udagawas, or no dice," he said defiantly, waiting for Kyo's answer.

Gemin stepped off of the train platform, when he saw a fight. A vicious one. One man, it seems, was stealing an old woman's purse. But boy, did this old woman know some sort of martial art. Judo, Maybe? Gemin rushed to help. It was an impurity in his perfect world, and needed to be removed. He drew his concealed sabre, and warded off the assailant. But before he could retreat back into the croud, someone sneezed on him.

"..."

Oh, well. He was late anyway.

He washed his hands.

Lily continued to wait for the train, but nothing came. She clenched her fists in inpatience and kicked the ground with the tip of her shoe, sending some dust up into the air. She just wanted to cry, and leave. But she knew that was impossible, well, the leaving part anyway. She had lived on the streets the past couple of weeks and it really began to destroy her clothes. She had heard that their were some hotels that were free for the people who couldn't pay, but she couldn't find out where they were.

"..." Kyo silently stared, a little angry at his friend's conditions. "Kota-Chan..." Kyo whispered silently under his breath, just loud enough for Kota to hear him. "Why must you always make things so difficult?" He sighed, this time not allowing his friend to hear his whisper. "Alright Kota-Chan, but five minutes tops, and this better not be fake!" Kyo said hesitating, and then continuing on

"I can't be any more late then I already am!" He turned his glance to his watch for a split second. There was no way he would make it to school on time now, so he simply sighed and followed his friend's request. "Oshigara-Senpai will kill us..." Kyo sighed as he turned towards the direction of the drug store.

Lily saw the other boy walk off in a mix of annoyance and dispear. It seemed that both of them were late for something, but one boy was relaxed while the other seemed to be up, down and everywhere. Lily then looked back to the other boy. She saw his calm face that had annoyed the other boys. Now, to Lily, boys like that were rude and didn't give a damn. But this person seemed more friendly and respectful, he just didn't seem to show the same feelings that his friend did on the subject.

Jai arrived at the train station as he stares into the deep space thinking to himself "Hm?" He sighs. He grip his baseball bat and adjust his hat slightly then looks to his right and left as he spot a girl and other boy. Jai just stood there watching carefully and waiting for the train. He continues to think to himself trying to close the outside world away from him not knowing who trust. He walks over to a bench and sat down as he takes off his hat and place it down next to him.

Alex exited the train with caution. He was on his own now, the Cali's spotted by him many times on the ways. He, with his beige coat on, ran through the day into a vacant house. Hands arose as he sat down. He noticed. "Oh hell! I AM SUCH A IDIOT!" He yelled in Japanese. He then took his things & ran, noticing Lily as he bumped into her. "I'm so sorry!" He said as he stood up & handed her his hand.

Lily then saw this other boy arrive, but only looked at him in the corner of her eye. She then took her attention back to herself and her thoughts. She continued to wait for the train and began once again to grow inpatient. "Well, to be fair, I could learn some Japenese while im here..." Lily thought to herself as the lightbulb appeared above her head. She then stuck her hand into her bag and pulled out the translation book. But as she did, her hands scrapped across her weapon of protection, a 44 magnum. She ignored the touch and pulled out the book, and began to read.

She then got bumped into. She looked up at the person and shook her head. "Don't worry sir, it's quite alright..."

She picked up her book and stuff and put it back into her bag.

"I'm here from North America, escaping the Calignostic Plauge, though I noticed it's here now." He said, pointing to them. "If we wanna live without becoming one of those, I'd say we better run. This is my THIRD time in this kind of situation. Last time, I was left in a car for two days. But the plauge was over when I got out."

Gemin was running now.

He was super-late for school, and he knew that, but he was never late.

Then, he did something that could save his perfect record.

Notcing no traffic, except for the occasional taxi, Gemin hailed a taxi.

"Get me there superfast, and you get a big tip." He nearly screamed in desparation.

"I'm from North America aswell. I can't seem to get used to this place." Lily looked at her translation book again. After afew minutes of standing in silence she realised what the man said.

"What do you mean the infections here now? It can't be, this is supposed to be a safe place!" Lily gave a annoyed face at the man, feeling as if he was trying to get her scared and that he was one of those conspiricy people.
