Hi. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how to make good and balanced yu-gi-oh cards and where i might go to find some decent pictures that actualy look like they could be real yu-gi-oh cards.

1) Keep the stats even with its level. Don't make a 4 star monster with 2400 ATK. XXXX and 9999 are also extremely terrible things to do.

2) Make sure that the picture you are using looks somewhat computer generated, and not a sketch or drawing. This picture should also have a background instead of it being a solid color.

3) No DIVINE or Divine-Beasts.

4) Effect can not be overpowering. If you have a card with 1500 ATK gaining 1000 ATK every turn is horrible. If you want it to gain 1000 ATK, you should discard a Level 5 or higher monster and have the monster be destroyed at the end of the turn.

Just a few tips.

For pictures for cards:

Photobucket

Google Images

1) Read the OCG Thread.

2) Make it balanced. Not overpowered or underpowered.

3) No Divine or Divine Beasts

4) Try to search for a cool, non-flat, and non-blurry image.

5) Add card edits, such as holos in graphic applications.

6) Add creative effects. But try to balance it.

I suggest these places for images:

-DeviantArt

-Photobucket

-Google Images

-and YCMers custom images in showcase.
