Here is the fun fact of time travel, you can't really change the past, because the present is already made by your acts while you were in the past, so DMG knew Chase from the start of the FTK story.

there the paradox is created. I would had to have gone to the past to do so and would somehow remember that occurence before I met the FK. But I would then have to meet the FK, not knowing about them. wait. This paradox is hard to explain.

Then he met me again God knows how many years later, and didn't recognize me, and neither of us knew the other...well, unless Link wants me to track him down, Creator finds some way to yank Chase into the present at this point.

See I bet later on in life DMG does the same thing, absorb some of Chase's blood through time travel.

 

This creates a loop, DMG absorbing Chase's power and vice versa. Each time regranting vampirism. The bite tranfers some or the bitters powers into the bitten and thus creates a power loop.

 

DMG's powers originate from Chase's bite, Chase's powers originate from DMG.

 

That's why there are no older vampires and why they constantly grow. As they go in the past to do the bite with more power, they give more power away and so on.

 

It's confusing but works.
