Sonic the Hedgehog; Death Egg 3 [Started, accepting over PM]

"Ooh, another dimensional explorer. Fun."

 

Sonic and Mighty had arrived, though the armadillo still suffered form "jet-lag."

 

"Sucks that the island's down," the hedgehog remarked, ignoring Silver and Shadow for the most part as he stared into the horizon towards Knuckles's chamber.

 

"So, uh, Silver. Long time no see. Maybe you can use my method after I finish... that sound fun?

 

"Oh, and you're in the right place," he added. "Knux knows dimensional transport better than anyone else in the world, probably... 'S why I'm here."

[Silver The Hedgehog]

"Sonic what are you doing here?"

[Mr. Hyde]

Shadow ignored Sonic. In his mind he was seeing himself saying hi. But he ignored that thought and just held out his knuckle for a little knuckle touch.

[Silver The Hedgehog]

"Nevermind..."

 

Silver ten Started walking twords the Master emerald shrine.

"Now, now," Sonic chided his white comrade. "Do you really think it'll be that easy? Knux'll be out after the Master Emerald.

 

"The trick was," he explained, "to use this place as a launch base against the Death Egg, but... that's obviously not gonna work. We'll need to find another way. Tedious, ne?"

[Mr. Hyde]

Shadow looked at Sonic. "Quite. Buuut I have a Chaos Emerald if you haven't noticed."

[blue eyes pop]

((I'm not going to be on 'till this afternoon, I'm making this post early because I woke up very early and was going to check on it anyway))

((Also, Supreme Gamesmaster is now Blaze aswell as Sonic))

"Doctor Robotnik, some Chaos Emeralds have been located at the fallen Angel Island with Sonic and his friends. Do you wish to send Meta Sonic 2 or go there yourself in the Egg Spiker, delaying it's arrival to Rail Canyon? questioned a robot to Eggman.

 

"Not only will I be able to squash Sonic, but I will get the Chaos Emeralds aswell! Prepare the Egg Spiker for transport!"

Eggman stood up and walked out of the room. He walked along many dark corridors, eventually reaching a locked door. He tapped the security code in and it opened, revealing a massive hangar filled with all sorts of Mechs.

 

Later, one of the Mechs (with Eggman inside) was being carried on an Air Ship towards earth...

Casino Row; 11:46PM

 

"Get him; Stop!" Two guards Shouted while Firing Guns at the Shadow Android; Carrying with him the Stolen Purple Chaos Emerald! The People stared and stoped there gambleing after One of the Guards was Knocked over by a swipe at the face.

 

"Fools; Your more Bulky then Eggman!" He Joked before griping the emerald in the Air; Absorbing its Chaos Power. His Visual Sensors glowed blue As he charged up.

 

"Chaos Control!" A Blinding light covered the shadow android before Vanishing via Chaos Control.

 

((A Cookie for anyone to guess were the Blue eyes effect comes from in the sonic franchise ^.^))

The red Echinda glided along the skies of his home island which now rested in the sea. "Grrr! I know Eggman is behind this! When i get my hands on him he's goona be sorry for touching the emeralds." he then sets his sights on a familiar figure. "Hey is that?" he glides closer upon seeing a blue hedgehog.

OoC: Perhaps the same game the Shadow Android itself hails from, the only-halfway-decent GameCube game Shadow the Hedgehog?

 

IC:

"Speak of the devil," Sonic noted, "and he shall appear. Knux, we have two Chaos Emeralds here, and if these fellas know what they're doing, they'll help you out." Oddly, his voice was devoid of menace or foreboding. "Now, then."

 

To business.

 

"I'm guessing that Eggman, with the Master Emerald in his control, can stop us from using Chaos Control in or around the Death Egg, which negates any plan to teleport straight there. I'm thinking if we can get up there some other way, though... or lure the Master Emerald out, which is more difficult but requires less fighting... we can capture it and stop the other holders of Chaos Control with relative ease. Comments?" he added in conclusion. "Suggestions?"

[blue eyes pop]

Mighty raised his camera and began to take pictures of the island.

The various ancient buildings and healthy green flora made the perfect place to take some pictures.

Mighty took a few more pictures, managing to get an excellent shot of a cloud of flickies flying over head.

 

Mighty then looked up at Sonic's question.

"If I know Eggman, he always has a main base with some minor base that ussualy links the main base to everywhere else. If we could find the minor base, if there is one, it would probaly be some form of air base or launch site so ships can go back and fourth from there to the Death Egg. If we find the minor base, we could use Chaos Control to get onto a ship just before it leaves."

Knuckles looks at Sonic. "Maybe if we're able to find Tails we'll be able to use the Blue Tornado to reach the Death Egg. It'll have to go under some modifications to get threw space, but knowing Tails i think he'll be up to the task." the echinda said giving Sonic a thumbs up.

"So were the hell do we do know?" Silver said as he teleported there.

"Tails," Sonic said, much more darkly than usual, "is in another dimension. If we had dimensional travel, we wouldn't have any of our problems right now." Judging by Silver's comments, he did mean any.

 

"But still," he added his tone returning to its normal aloof levity, "it's not like there aren't other tech experts in the world. We could always ask GUN to do our work for us. You still in contact with a certain bat-thief?" he asked Shadow teasingly. He knew the answer, of course; Rouge would never lose track of Shadow if she could help it.

[Mr. Hyde]

Shadow smirked. "The pretty bat girl. I don't know where she is. She could be anywhere."

Mecha Sonic had targeted onto a fox. "Termination Intimate." He opened up his Rocket launcher gun. His targeting system never failed. He shot a missle at tails.

OoC: HOW DID MECHA SONIC GO TO ANOTHER DIMENSION

 

IC:

 

Oh.

 

Oh, dear.

 

This left two possibilities as to why Rouge had lost track of Shadow. Option one was that she'd lost the ability to — say, being fired from GUN or imprisoned. That would be bad. Option two was that Shadow had simply dropped off the map for a spell and Rouge hadn't caught on. He silently prayed that the second option was true while he asked Shadow a question.

 

"Huh. Well, what happened to you before the random Chaos Emerald brawl o' random randomness?"

[Mr. Hyde]

((I forgot. He's targeting sonic. Not tails. Mecha Sonic can use chaos control since he has some Master Emerald power.))

 

Shadow thought. "I think...I was in White Forest. I enjoy Wild life you see."

Mecha Sonic targeted Sonic. "Power Level...Weak. Calculated time of destruction...42.64 seconds. Starting warp speed." He rolled into his spiky ball form and started spinning furiously.

Oh.

 

Well.

 

That sucked.

 

"So I guess the best thing we can do," he sighed, "is try and find Rouge. Well, let's..." He observed something rather unusual as he turned — a literal blue spiked cannonball to Sonic's metaphorical one.

 

"Metal Sonic," he said grimly. "You guys gonna help me or not?" he added, turning to his compatriots as he subtly prepared for battle.

[Mr. Hyde]

((Meeechaaa :P 2 totally different robots.))

 

Shadow grunted. "Fool, you should be able to take him yourself. If he hurts you too much though, i will intervene. No one will kill you but me." Shadow crossed his legs and sat down in lotus position.

Mecha Sonic unleashed all the lightspeed he could handle. He shot out at Sonic with all his speed.

OoC: The mistake was intentional.

 

IC:

 

Time had slowed quite a bit for the hedgehog; even at its ridiculous speed, the robot seemed to be moving so slowly that Sonic could dodge it reasonably. Even as he leaped away at an apparently leisurely pace, he was moving so quickly that he managed to segue into a midair spin so fast a small blue tornado formed.

 

So it's just Mecha Sonic, he thought as the robot uncurled. He was quite relieved; Metal Sonic was not limited by predictable AI, whereas Mecha Sonic had a few discernible patterns. If he was right, his blue tornado would serve him well if he could spin quickly enough.

[Mr. Hyde]

Mecha Sonic used the jet in his back to get out of the blue tornado. "Sonic the Hedgehog. Resistance is futile. Destruction is Iminate." He took out a canister of Green Energy containing power from the master emerald. He absorbed some of it. His metallic purple armor had become yellow. "Power Level statement: Greatly increased." Mecha Sonic sped up to Sonic and punched him.

The second Mecha Sonic had started talking about his power level, Sonic had hit the ground running, blazing past even as he registered his bizarre Super form. Still, he'd underestimated exactly how fast the robot would be, and he was unable to completely dodge its punch as it roared along behind him. He deflected it by spinning, but was still hurt, plowed into the ground and deprived of Rings.

 

As he darted about collecting some, he noted that Mecha was redoubling to follow him. He started moving as quickly as possible, ready to accelerate in any direction should the mighty robot strike again.

[Mr. Hyde]

Mecha Sonic laughed a very Mechanized laugh. "Sonic the Hedgehog. You are insuperior to me. I although not being the real hedgehog here. Final Statement: You're pathetic. I'll Crush You!" He jetted towards Sonic at Light Speed. He didn't need to charge it since he was in his Super Form. While jetting, he rolled into his Spiked Ball, jetted upwards, and jetted towards Sonic. His momentum and entire body, composed of metal and making him very heavy, increased his speed greatly as he plummeted towards the Blue Hedgehog.

"Still a champion blatherer, I see," Sonic noted as he continued running through Dead Earth Zone. "Your syntax files are pretty screwed up, though."

 

As Super Mecha Sonic hit the ground, however, Sonic backpedaled and began running in the opposite direction before taking a hard left and bouncing away into the trees. Though his damaged speech mechanisms gave Sonic a great advantage, that was his only advantage; Super Mecha Sonic could top his speed, and its combat AI was still quite good. Sonic didn't dare try and attack until the Super form inevitably wore off.
